It took a while for me to get the crew back into the ship.

We then sailed towards a nearby island that wasn't too far from Whole Cake island. We just needed somewhere to throw a party after the battle. Like Whitebeard said, Roger and his Pirate crew had already left Tottoland long before we did. However, we did toast a drink towards them during one of our rounds of drinking.

I had downed a couple of barrels of wine when I went on a drinking competition with Whitebeard. He ended up winning by a small margin, like half of a barrel.

"Gurararara!! You can't even beat me in your wildest dreams, brat!" Whitebeard chuckled as he guzzled some more wine.

"That's because your stomach is the size of an island, Old man," I grumbled before I burped.

I was way too drunk to process anything else, so I ended up finding a bed to sleep in before passing out. My exhaustion and my drunk state didn't make me feel or sense anything for quite a while before I woke up later. My hoodie was missing along with my axe, and I was somehow covered with a blanket.

I looked around, only to find Stussy sleeping right next to me with a serene expression. Her arms were wrapped around my arm as she slept. I hadn't even sensed her walk into the room while I was asleep, a testament to how exhausted I was.

After staring at her for a bit, I ended up going right back to sleep as I brought her closer to me. Her hair smelled like fresh daisies, and it really helped me in going back to sleep.

She woke up a bit earlier than I did, I could sense her kissing my forehead before getting out of bed, and leaving the room. I soon woke up and got out of the room as well.

In the main deck of the Moby Dick, I saw everyone sitting at a table scarfing down breakfast. I even saw Stussy making herself some tea in the ship's kitchen. The rest of the 0 Division was also there as well, Ken was tearing off a piece of meat while striking a conversation with another pirate. Meanwhile Pato was slowly drinking some milk alone at the end of the table.

I couldn't find Whitebeard and the rest of his men around. Using my Observation haki, I sensed them on another Moby Dick that wasn't too far from where we were.

"How'd I end up here..." I couldn't help but wonder out loud, because I had clearly remembered that I had been drinking on the ship that Whitebeard had been staying on.

"Well, we can solve that mystery for you," Jozu walked up to me while saying, "you had passed out on Pop's bed, so Marco had carried you out of the ship and placed you here. You haven't woken up in three days."

'Damn, I really overdid it...'

Stussy, who had been enjoying her freshly brewed tea, immediately noted my precense and walked right up to me. She had a tray that had a newspaper and a cup of coffee on the side for me.

"Welcome back, Boris," Stussy smiled.

"When did you get back?"

"I'll explain things to you when you sit down and drink some coffee," Stussy replied. She then gestured at me to follow her, to which I complied.

I soon found myself sitting down on a tableside and a chair that was really close to the edge of the ship. The railings were the only thing that had separated us from the ship.

I sat down and took a sip of some of the coffee that Stussy had made for me. I could tell that it had been freshly brewed because of how it tasted.

"So, when did you get here? I left you guys patrolling the territories near Whole Cake Island," I said.

Stussy pulled a chair towards the other side of the table before bringing her tea with her. She sat down and took a sip out of it before she began to narrate what she had been doing while I was asleep.

"We got the news that the battle had ended a little while after you guys had left Tottoland. So I had the crew patrol the territory one more time before I asked for you. That was when Marco told me where you were, and I brought the crew here and the rest is history."

"Fair enough, did you run into any trouble on your way here?" I asked.

"Actually, we ran into a peculiar fleet of ships that were on their way out of the New World. They actually stopped right in front of our ship and landed on our ship," Stussy replied.

"Did you kill them?"

"No, we let them go. They were actually inviting us to tour South Blue when we have the chance," Stussy replied.

"That's weird, did you have the jolly roger up? People would normally avoid us because of Whitebeard's notoriety," I asked.

"Well, that's what I thought too. I felt that something was off with those guys, but I just couldn't put my finger on it," Stussy explained.

We both continued drinking our beverages in silence for a while before I explained to her what we would be doing soon after we left the main crew.

"We're going back to patrolling the territory like we used to a while back," I stated.

"I thought that Whitebeard wasn't going to send us to do stuff like that again?" Stussy asked.

"He said that he didn't the way the New World has been moving lately, so he wants me to patrol as a sign of strength, and to ward off some unwanting characters," I explained.

"So when do we leave?" Stussy asked.

"I'm not sure, I was thinking that we can hang around for a bit longer before we leave. I want the crew to be at their peak state when we leave," I replied as I started reading the news.

There wasn't much that was going on since the end of the battle. If anything, the World Economic News had been still discussing what had happened during the battle. There were just multiple eye witness stories, conspiracy theories, and what the World Government said that they would be doing in response to what had happened.

However, nothing worth worrying too much about. Whitebeard was probably going to keep sailing on after resting a bit. I doubt anything else would be happening until Roger finds the last island and disbands the Pirate group.

"I don't think that there's much going to happen after this altercation, so we'll be taking things slow for a while," I said.

"I hope that's the case, I don't feel like doing something crazy like raiding Mariejois again," Stussy sighed.

"I hope you can use this time to train your devil fruit. You got Vampire powers, you know?"

"I'll figure things out. I think we might want to tell Ken the same thing, sometimes the power gets to his head," Stussy replied.

"I think that's something that he'll have to figure that out himself. Unless he wants to get himself killed," I replied.

Alright, I'm thinking of putting a time skip after this chapter...

I won't rush into conflict like I normally would do, but instead I'm going to try and paint a picture of how things were looking before the start of the Age Of Piracy.

Love y'all!!!!
