The man known as "Silver"

Vixx and Tabs look at the cop and start to slowly walk backwards away from the cop.

Tabs in a desperation tries to start small talk with the cop.

"Hey Captain Silver, how are you doing, haven't seen you in a little bit how is the wife and kids?" 

Captain Silver looks at Tabs with a face of serious disappointment.

"Tabs enough, I don't want to hear anything from you, because fortunately for you, you technically didn't interfere with police business."

"Oh okay, so that means I am off the hook, right?"

"Not entirely, but like I said I am not here to talk with you but your younger brother here."

"Hey Captain Silver, he's my older brother sir."

"How does that work, you're older by a year, so he can't be your older brother."

Vixx quickly involves himself interrupting Captain Silver.

"It isn't about the age, but about the respect he holds for me and the respect I hold for him, so I'm his older brother and I don't care about any objections."

"Well, I don't care about that right now, I want to know why you refuse to stay out of police business even after I have told you hundreds of times to not interfere!"

Vixx folds his arms and looks off to the side with a pouty face. "I don't recall you being my dad, so I don't have to listen to you no matter how many times you say it."

"Why are you even upset I stopped the sh*t heads, and nobody got hurt you should be thanking me and not scolding me."

"You want me to thank two kids that have no business putting themselves in danger even though the police force didn't ask for it?"

"And believe me I am grateful that you stopped them before they got to the bridge, but I don't want you to put you and your brother in harm's way."

Vixx looks back at Silver with a face of understanding but is still visibly upset."

"I understand where you are coming from but me and Tabs are fine, so you should just let us go."

Captain Silver's face changes to a confused expression trying to ponder the statement that Vixx made.

"Are you a dumb*ss?"

"I feel like that was completely unnecessary to say."

"You have a bullet in your right arm and your brother now have two bullet holes in his left arm and one in his right because he was trying to protect you."

"And to top it all off I still need to arrest you two because I already know you two are going to resist going to the hospital."

As Vixx and Tabs both hear the word "arrest" leave Silver's lips they both turn and start climbing the buildings behind them.

Vixx while holding his right arm fires one of his grapplers at the building and quickly zips towards the building, getting ready to start scaling it.

At the same time Tabs squats all the way to the floor and propels upward with a huge jump aiming to land on the building roofs in one shot.

*Sigh* "I was hoping you wouldn't do that now I got to exhaust myself."

Silver raises his right hand and aims it at Tabs and Vixx, and his hand starts to transform into a chrome substance, and large chrome tendrils start emerging form the palm of his hand and dart at the two.

The tendrils race through the air and reach Tabs and Vixx in a split second stopping the two before they can even touch the building.

 The tendrils start to wrap harder around the two and start to lower back down to Captain Silver.

"Well, I think I proved that your escape attempts are futile, so now you to will go into the backseat of my car and I will take you to the hospital."

"No, don't take us to the hospital we are fine, we don't need your help." Vixx say while staring angrily at Silver.

"Why are you so persistent on going to the hospital?" 

"Because we can already barely afford food you think we can afford a hospital bill, I don't want to put me and Tabs through that burden."

Silver looks back and forth at Vixx and Tabs and commands the chrome tendrils to start moving towards his car.

He opens the car door and the tendrils flow inside the car bringing Vixx and Tabs into the car still restraining them.

"Hey, old man I said to let us." Vixx is interrupted by the chrome that flows over his mouth preventing him from talking.

"Jeez, can you be quiet for a second you're hurting this old man's ears."

"And don't worry about it I'll cover the bill for you two, now does that sound good to you?"

"No, then we will end up owing you something after words, so no thanks." Vixx tries and struggle to loosen the restraints but finds it to be impossible.

"Well, now that you reminded me, I will need you two to do something for me if I do this, but it isn't paying me back for the hospital bill."

"Oh yeah and what is that exactly, huh."

"That is something I'm not going to share until tomorrow, so let's get going now shall we it is getting late."

Captain Silver waves off the other cops and gets into the driver seat and heads to the city's hospital.

After 20 minutes of driving, they reach the hospital and Silver steps out the car and opens the backseat door and releases the chrome to allow Vixx and Tabs out.

"Well, now that we're here I don't think you can refuse now."

Tabs looks at Silver with an awkward smile, and Vixx avoids eye contact and stares at the floor.

The three head into the hospital and Vixx and Tabs get placed in an operating room together.

They both enter the room and they each sit on two different operating beds next to each other, and Tabs looks over at Vixx who is staring at the ground.

Hey, Vixx you think this operation is going to hurt."

Vixx looks up from the floor and at Tabs, "Oh h*ll yeah it's going to hurt but let's have a bet to make this more fun shall we."

"The first person to yell out or even shed a tear that person has to do a favor that the winner needs, and the winner can redeem this favor whenever they want."

"Deal?" Vixx holds out his hand for a hand shake to make it official.

 Tabs grabs and shakes Vixx's hand. "I'm down what you think I'm a b*tch, I'm not folding."

"Great to hear it."

As they shake hands two doctors, and four nurses enter the room and are ready to remove the bullets.

Vixx and Tabs lay flat on the beds and look at each other with a determined face, the doctors put on their gloves and mask and start the operations.

Silver waits outside the room and after an hour the operation ends and Vixx and Tabs exit the room both with bandages over their arms.

"So, how was it, did it feel pleasant?"

Vixx looks at him an annoyed glance. "No, it didn't, not only did the operation hurt like h*ll, but I also lost the bet me and Tabs made."

 Captain Silver stands up and puts on his police coat, "Well, since you are all patched up, I called my wife and you two are joining us for dinner."

 Tabs face lights up in excitement, "Really, are you sure that this is alright."

"Yes, my wife insisted."

He looks at Vixx with a teasing grin, "Is that alright with you Vixx?"

"Yeah, sure I don't care."

Tabs grabs Vixx's shoulders and starts to shake him viciously, "Would it kill you to show that you're even a little bit thankful."

Well while you two are high in spirits let's get going its already dark.

The three of them exit the hospital and make it to Silver's car.

"I call shotgun." Vixx says with to Tabs with a serious face.

Tabs quickly retaliates, "Oh man I was wanting shotgun, so I guess you're out of luck bro."

Vixx continues with an eager grin, "You know you can't beat me without your spark so you maybe want to transform."

"I'm not going to fall for that trick again last time you got me with that I was forced to stay transformed for three days, before I got replacement clothes."

"It's not my fault you were so gullible then, however back to the topic at hand the passenger seat is mine I called shotgun." Vixx says holding back his laughter.

Tabs glares at Vixx with a look of irritation in his eye, "I swear this time I'm going I'm going to rip your arms off."

Tabs and Vixx are about to charge at each other, but they are interrupted by Silver who is sitting in the driver seat waiting for them.

"Will the both of you get in the d*mn car, so we can go, and how are you two going to fight you can't use your arms right now." Silver shouts in annoyance.

Tabs fixes his gaze to Silver, "But I want the front seat, and bro was p*ssing me off."

"Well, how about neither of you get the front seat, so quickly get your asses in the back."

The two of them settle down and pile into the backseat of the car, and they drive off to Silver's house.

10 minutes later . . .

They arrive in Captain Silver's neighborhood and start to drive up to a big, two floor, dark gray house, and pull into the driveway.

All three of them get out of the car and head towards the front door where they see someone sitting on a chair on the front porch.

The person on the porch stands up and shouts, "Hey, Dad you're back!"

The person turns out to be a girl who looks roughly the same age as Tabs with deep red hair and dark brown eyes, she runs over towards Silver and collides with him giving a hug.

"Hey, dad what took you so long to get back home, you usually don't arrive this late."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to worry you if I did it's just that I had to make a quick pit stop at the hospital to fix up our two guests for tonight." He turns around and reveals Tabs and Vixx standing behind him.

She looks up and down at the two and is seems bothered at the sight of them, "May I ask who they are?"

"Why yes I hoping to introduce you guys sooner or later." Silver walks over to the two of them and pushes them closer to the girl.

"Now Vixx and Tabs I want to introduce you to my daughter Scarlett, and Scarlett I want to introduce you to Vixx and Tabs they are the one I talk to you about. "

"So, you two are the pain in the asses that my dad talks about." Scarlett says as she crosses her arms and give the two a cunning grin.

At the sight of her Tabs feels as his heart may have skipped a beat, however, tries to introduce himself, " H. . Hey, I'm Tabs It. . . it's nice to meet you."

Vixx looks at Scarlett with a look of annoyance, "Who are you calling a pain in the ass you ginger snap, strawberry jam headed, b*tch."

Captain Silver quickly intervenes before it can get worse," Okay, that is enough we don't sour faces at the dinner table."

"But Captain Silver, she called me a pain in the ass,"

"Well one she's right, and also while we're at my house drop the "Silver" and call me by my real name Mark."

Vixx and Tabs stand frozen in confusion, "Silver isn't you real name?"

Mark looks at them is disappointment, "You two thought that my real name was Silver, that only a nickname the boys at the station gave me due to my power spark."

Scarlett scoffs at the two and turns and heads toward the front door of the house, "Wow, look at that they're pain in the asses and incredibly dumb I didn't think that could possible."

The words from Scarlett seem to fly through the air filling Vixx's head continuing to upset him, however the word seem to fly over Tabs head as he stares at her in awe.

Mark stand their and palms his face, "Maybe this won't go as well as i thought."

"Well anyway everyone inside for dinner, my lovely wife is making spaghetti, which is my favorite, so let's hurry."

Mark rushes all three of them into the house and through the front door where upon entering a huge blast of light blast Vixx and Tabs in the eyes.

"Why is it so bright in here you need to turn off some lights, especially around this time."

Scarlett looks at Vixx with a face of judgement, "What are you talking about it is only seven o clock, were you like living in a hole or something?"

Vixx responds angerly, "Well I'm sorry for asking then." And he turns and faces away looking out a nearby window.

Scarlett turns and curiously whispers to Tabs, "Why is he like this did I say something wrong."

Tabs cups one of his hands and places it to her ear and whispers into it, "Well you see me, and bro having been living in an abandoned warehouse for the past ten years." 

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't know do you want me to apologize I feel bad now."

"No, you probably shouldn't it might make more upset, he doesn't like to hear people apologize to him."

"Why is that?"

"I'm and not entirely sure, I have a feeling the reason happened before I met him."

Scarlett stares at him blankly seemingly confused, "What do you mean before you met him?"

"From what I heard you two are brothers."

"Well, you see." As Tabs was about to answer Scarlett a ladies voice can be heard from the kitchen."

"Hey all of you, are you ready to eat, I got the table set up so come quickly."

"Mark answers back with much enthusiasm, "Okay, darling we'll all be in as soon as possible."

Mark turns back to Scarlett, Vixx, and Tabs grabbing all of them, "Come on all of you it is spaghetti time."

The four of them pile into the kitchen we they are met with a petite blonde-haired woman about in her forties laying the food across the table.

Mark waste no time running at the woman hugging her tightly, "Hello, Maria I have been waiting to get home to see you."

Maria hugs him back and looks him in the eyes with a heartfelt smile, "It is good to see you too dear, and I am guessing these are our guest." She looks over to Vixx and Tabs.

Vixx leans over and whispers to Scarlett, "Is he always like this is when he finally sees his wife at the end of the day?"

Scarlett palms her face as she blushes from embarrassment and avoids looking at her dad, "No, he is only like this when we have guest over, and it is absolutely embarrassing."

Mark gives up the lovey-dovey act and pulls out a seat for him and his wife, and they both have a seat.

"Come on guys have a seat and let's eat."

Mark fills his plate with a mountain of spaghetti and wait for all three of them to have a seat.

After a little bit of waiting all three of them join the table and fill their plates with spaghetti then all of them join hands, say grace, and start eating their dinner.
