The Boy known as Keyan
All of them sit around the table and continue to enjoy the food that Maria made enjoy the wonderful day they had that day.
They all make loads of small talk and then Maria asks Scarlett about her life at school. "Hey, sweety how is life at school our you excited about the year ending?"
Scarlett quickly and enthusiastically answered, "Oh, school has been great, although since it is the end of the year my friends have been talking about trying out for a Guardian Training School."
Scarlett crosses her arms and rest her head on them as she lays them on the table and looks off into the distance almost like a daydream, "I can't wait to try out and be accepted into K.G.A. and I am going to be the top of the school."
Vixx and Tabs stop eating an look at school in admiration, then Vixx can't help but laugh at the statement Scarlett has made.
"HAHAHA!"
Scarlett raises her head off the table and looks at Vixx with confusion and irritation in her eyes. "What the h*ll are you laughing at huh, you think I can't make it."
Vixx wipes the tears from his eyes, "Well, yeah that's the first thing, but the other thing is you think you are going to be above me and Tabs."
Scarlett turns her gaze towards Tabs in search for an answer.
"Well, you see Big bro and I have one dream, and that is to be the top of K.G.A., and it seems that Bro took it as a challenge."
"Oh, well keep that challenge rivalry bullsh*t to yourself, if you want a rival then I'm gonna have to introduce you to Keyan."
When Scarlett mentioned that name the noise that filled the room came to an abrupt stop.
Vixx comes down from his high horse and shows a slight interest in the new name brought to the table. "Who is Keyan?" "Just from the silence that filled the room I can tell this person is important."
"Vixx you don't have to be rude with the question. "Tabs says whilst aggressively holding his hands over Vixx's mouth."
Mark speaks up over the matter to break the tension in the room, "Well, you see Keyan is our second child, and he is actually the same age as you Vixx, and you see..."
Mark struggles to share the rest of the information, but Maria places her hand on his shoulder to reassure him. "It's alright Dear, take it slow."
"Thank you, Darling."
"And you see, something happened to him when he was about 10 years old, but we don't know what happened to him, he has never said anything about it."
Marks expression slowly changes into a super serious look as he continues to share the information, "One day, he came back home, and somehow awakened his power spark, but he never shared how he awakened it."
Vixx shares Marks expression, "May I ask what Keyan looks like?" "Maybe I have seen him."
Mark seems to loosen up after Vixx asked the question, "Okay well, he is a little taller than you Vixx, about 5' 10''."
Maria joins in and gives some descriptions of Keyan, "he has spikey yellow hair that has blue streaks in it, that was due to his spark awakening."
"He also got into a habit of wearing a cloth mask over his face it has glowing blue rings over it, and he seems to never take it off."
Vixx grows even more curious about who this Keyan is, "Is there any reason he doesn't take it off?"
Scarlett intrudes into the conversation, "He told me he wears the mask because if he didn't it would make him a disgrace or something."
"What does that mean?" Tabs asked curiously.
Scarlett shrugs her shoulders, "how am I supposed to know."
Mark draws the attention back to himself and everyone focuses their gaze at him.
"Anyway, like I said before he awakened his spark and hasn't told anyone how he awakened it, and I'm truly worried the way he awakened it might have been from a tragic event."
Vixx looks at Mark in confusion, "What do you mean Captain Silver?"
Scarlett slams her hands on the table and stands up and shoots a glare at Vixx, "Are you serious, you want to join the most prestigious spark training school and you don't even know how someone awakens one."
"Like, do your even know how you awakened your spark?" Scarlett's cold glare slowly starts to fade as she desperately tries to hold back her laughter.
Vixx's eyes dart to the side as he looks at Scarlett with a sight of annoyance, "I don't have a spark, so maybe that is why I don't know how someone awakens one!"
Vixx crosses his arms on the table and buries his head into them. "Dumb B*tch." He softly whispers under his breath.
"HAHAHA!"
Scarlett after hearing what Vixx said burst out into uncontrollable laughter.
"You want to join K.G.A. without having a power spark, that has to be the dumbest things I have ever heard in my life, HAHAHA!"
"Hey, enough of that!" Mark shouts in a stern tone.
"I will not tolerate any behavior like that in my house."
Scarlett immediately stops laughing and sits back and sulks in her chair, "I am sorry father, I won't do that again."
Vixx raises his head out of his arms and looks over at Scarlett, "If you are so quick to judge, I hope you don't mind me asking you what your spark is."
"Oh, I don't mind at all, just sit there and prepare to be amazed." she stands up as her smug smirks returns to her face.
She raises her hand, and a flash of light appears from her hand, making it hard to focus on.
As the light begins to dissipate Vixx and Tabs can make out what looks to be a paint brush appears into her hand.
Vixx looks at her with a disapproved face, as Tabs sits there and waits in anticipation.
"Is that it, just a paint brush that looks weak." Vixx says as he clasps his hands behind his head and leans back in his chair.
Scarlett shoots another cold glare at him with even more intensity.
"If you could wait and shut you impatient *ss up for a second I would show you the rest."
"This paint brush is just the item I summon to fully conjure my spark."
"And what exactly is your spark, you draw me a pretty flower."
Scarlett gives him a sinister grin then, "You know what I will." She says as she points her paitnt brush at Vixx.
Maria tries to intervene to stop what is about to unfold, though she is stopped by Mark.
"Just let them be for now, this will help get them to understand each other more and will make the surprise we have for them a lot easier. He whispers into Maria's ear.
"Okay dear, whatever you say."
Scarlett takes her paint brush and places the tip of the brush onto Tabs shirt and begins to create strokes of green into the air.
"Woah, now that looks awesome." Tabs exclaims in excitement.
When she is finished with the green strokes, she places the tip of the brush onto the white porcelain plates and begins to create more strokes in the air.
After a few seconds of Scarlett taking color of object from around the room and combining them into the floating masterpiece in the dining room air.
She tosses her paint brush into the air, and the paint brush slowly disappears into nothingness as Scarlett stands on the other side of her drawing.
Scarlett crosses her arms a look at Vixx with an eviler grin than before, "Here is your flower, I hope you enjoy it."
As she says that she lifts one her hands and with a click of her finger the painting begins to distort and mold.
Vixx still look on with a nonchalant expression as the painting is moving in front of his eyes.
The moving streaks of colors finally come to a halt as they now resemble a big portrait of a flower with huge sharp razor-sharp teeth.
Vixx finally shows an expression of acknowledgement to Scarlett, "Oh, okay I see what your power is now, pretty cool in my opinion."
Tabs, who is still a little loss at the whole situation, looks away from the painting and instead at Vixx.
"What is her power, Bro, I am not quite getting it yet."
"You are actually about to find out, so if I was you, I would move from where you are currently sitting." Vixx warns Tabs as he fiddles with what looks to be a small gadget around his wrist.
"What are you talking about." Tabs turns back to face the painting once more.
As he turns back the beautiful still painting that was once their hovering off the ground, is now a big seven-foot-tall plant monster with huge teeth as it was displayed in the painting.
"Oh, sh*t, what the f*ck is that thing" Tabs yells out as the plant launches his huge head at him trying to swallow him whole.
As Tabs avoids the hungry plant, it quickly takes its focus off Tabs as it sees Vixx still sitting comfortably in his chair, and lunges at him.
Vixx gives a small smirk as he raises his arm out in front of the plants and allows it to latch on.
The plant engulfs its huge mouth around Vixx's arms sinking its teeth into it not wanting to let go.
Scarlett, as she stands behind the plant and at the sight of the amount of blood pooling from Vixx's arm starts to second guess her decision and attempts to release the painting.
"Hey, you're good, you don't need to release it." Vixx says to her with a determined look in his eyes.
"Besides this thing is already as good as dead."
As he says that he uses his hand that is trapped in the plants mouth to press a button that rests in his palm.
When he presses the button a huge spurt of electricity erupts from the plants mouth burning it from the inside out and disintegrates it.
Vixx after getting his hand free takes one of the hand towels on the table and wraps it around his arm to prevent the blood from continuing to spill out.
Scarlett holds her hands over her mouth in disbelief at what she caused to happen.
"I'm sor..."
"Shut up!" Vixx says abruptly cutting her off.
"No need to apologize, it was my idea to put my arm in the plants mouth so don't blame yourself, okay." Vixx reassures her to the best of his abilities without trying to blame her.
"Hey, that nice Big bro, you now have a bullet hole in you right arm and a huge bite mark in your left, you just love to collect injuries don't you." Tabs says sarcastically trying to make light of the situation.
"Yeah, hahaha, very funny." Vixx says back in a sarcastic tone.
Mark stands up from his chair and gather the attention of the three.
"Well, after seeing what just unfolded, and I know this is out of the blue, but I can no longer keep this a secret until tomorrow."
"What is it, Dad?" Scarlett asks.
"Me and your mother decided to pay for you and your brother to try out for the K.G.A. entrance exam!"
"What are you serious, thank you so much, I love you guys!" Scarlett exclaims as she jumps into their arms.
Vixx and Tabs stare on at the sight of and actually warm loving embrace from one's parents something they both yearned for, for years.
Marks is able to pry Scarlett off him and places one hand on her shoulder.
"Now, I can tell you that you and your brother won't be alone on this journey."
"Are you saying that someone else is joining us, is it my favorite cousin." Scarlett says as she impatiently awaits an answer.
"It is actually two people who are closer to you, but you just don't realize it."
"Who?"
Mark grabs both of her shoulder and spins her around to face towards Vixx and Tabs.
"Scarlett these two will be joining you in the entrance exams to K.G.A."
The three of them all stand stiff and share glances for a few seconds, and after a couple more seconds, reality finally catches up to all of them.
"WHATTTT DDDIDDD YOUUU JUSTTT SAYYY!!!"
