Sophia's POV:
Stephanie Hughes and Kimberly Joy Aguirre, our two new classmates. They seem to have rather unique personalities. Based on how Miss Hughes threatened Ma'am Padua earlier, I can say that she's one of a heck troublesome student. On the other hand, Kimberly seems to be Stephanie's follower. Well, I don't think something will go wrong when I'm going to tour them later around the school.
(School bell rings)
"Come on, Kim. We need to follow Bill!" Stephanie pulled Kim's hand and I saw Bill run out of the room at a tremendous speed.
"Wait!" I held the tip of Kim's jacket.
"I'm Sophia Bailey, the class President. Sir Bautista left you two in my care and instructed me to tour you around the school today. After all, it will be troublesome if you'll be lost inside this enormous school."
"Um, hi! Nice to meet you too! I hope we can be good friends!" Kimberly reached her hand to me and we shook hands.
"Kimberly, stop wasting our time greeting that girl. And you, Miss Sophia? We don't need your help in touring us around the school. Me and my friend Kimberly can manage somehow. And remember, I don't want to be friends with the likes of you. I just went here for Bill, no other reason. Just try and flirt with Bill, you'll see your worst nightmare. So if you'll excuse us, we need to go now and find Bill." Stephanie pushed me away and went outside the classroom.
"Please pardon Stephanie's rudeness. She's like that but she also has a good side. I'm grateful for your concern but I'll have to humbly reject your help. I'm sorry." Kimberly gently said.
"It's fine, Kimberly. Then, just ask for the students' direction in case you don't know how to return here in the classroom, ok?"
"I understand! Thank you! If you'll excuse me, I need to follow Stephanie now."
After Kimberly ran out of the room, someone tapped my shoulders and when I looked who it is, it's Lance.
"Are you ok, Sophia? I just saw the new student pushed you."
"I'm fine! It's not that even hard. But thank you for worrying about me. What about you? Aren't you going to eat?"
"I'm actually on my way to the school canteen. Do you want to go there together?"
"Sure! Gladly!"
Meanwhile...
Janna's POV:
I'm with Elaine, Kristoffer, Gilbert and John here at the school canteen. I don't know why Kris even invited his cousin to eat with us. The atmosphere is awkward since the last time Elaine and I talked to John was when we scolded him.
Sophia is not with us because she said that she needs to tour the new students around since it's her duty as the President of the Student Council and our classroom.
What I'm worried about right now are those two students. Why do they know Bill? What are they to Bill? Why are they here? Are they here to-
"Janna!"
"Oh, Elaine. What's wrong?"
"That should be my line. What's wrong with you? You've been looking for one direction for a while."
"I'm... I'm just thinking about Sophia. 'How is she dealing with the new students right now?' is what I thought."
"But aren't those two the new students that came today?" John pointed his fingers towards the entrance of the canteen.
We saw the two of them roaming their eyes desperately. It's as if they're looking for something, or rather, someone.
"That's right! Then where's Sophia? Why aren't they with her? By any chance, did they get separated from each other?" Elaine asked.
"Who knows?" Gilbert answered Elaine's question with another question.
Not too long, we saw Sophia together with Lance enter the school canteen. After they bought their own snacks, they looked for a vacant seat and that's when she saw our area. She smiled at us and walked to our direction.
"Hey Elaine, Janna, Kristoffer! And also Gilbert and John! I didn't thought that all of you are together. Can Lance and I join you?"
"Of course! Why not?! But aren't you suppose to be with the new students today?" Kristoffer asked.
"Oh, about that... Well, yeah. But they're the one who said that they don't need my help so I just let them be. I'm sure they'll be able to find their way to the classroom somehow."
"Actually, we just saw them ealier and it looks like they're looking for something. I don't know what, though." Elaine said.
"Ahhh... I think it's more appropriate to say they're looking for 'someone' rather than 'something'."
"What do you mean by that?"
"You see, when we separated, I heard Stephanie said something about 'finding and talking to Bill'."
Bill? What do they need from Bill? I have a bad feeling about this. I need to go to Bill too.
"Um... I need to go the bathroom."
"Do you need me to come with you?"
"No, Sophia. I'll be fine by myself. Just eat your snack here."
"Ok."
I ran out of the school canteen immediately to follow Stephanie and Kimberly.
