I Like Her!

Kimberly's POV:

"Just wait a minute, Stephanie! Why are we even running? Bill is our classmate anyway, so we can just talk to him in the classroom if we can't find him now."

"Can you please use that small brain of yours? It's obvious that Bill will try to avoid us at all cost in the classroom. What's more, I can't make a ruckus in the classroom if ever Bill tried to ignore me since this is a prestigious academy and even with all my money and power, I am not certain that I will be let off the hook for it."

"I'm sorry."

"Whatever... Just look for Bill!"

I used my eyes to look around my surroundings. We continued to walk until we got to the small park which is also a part of the school's domain where Bill is sitting on a bench and wearing headphones.

"Stephanie, look! Bill is right there!"

"You're right! Let's go!"

Stephanie ran fast and of course, I followed her.

"Bill..." Stephanie stood up in front of Bill who's unaware about our arrival.

"Stephanie, Kim. You actually followed me here in the garden?! Why can't you just leave me alone?!" Bill removed his headphones and put it around his neck.

"Bill, I just wanted to talk to you."

"There's nothing to talk about!" Bill walked away when Stephanie held Bill's arm to stop him.

"Why are you avoiding me? You even went through all the trouble of leaving our hometown. Did I do anything wrong?"

"Wrong? You seriously don't know? I didn't expect that you'll ask me that question. You ruined my life, Stephanie! All I wanted is to have a peaceful high school life and because of your delusional thoughts about me, I wasn't able to obtain it. I want to have many friends whom I'll share my happiness with and you didn't allow me to experience it. Even asking for our assignments is very hard for me since you won't let me to have a conversation with our classmates especially to girls. You made me experience a difficult high school life, Stephanie. And now, you even followed me here? For what purpose?! To ruin my life again?!"

"Please don't get angry to Stephanie, Bill." I begged him.

"You too, Kim. Please don't tolerate Stephanie's wrongdoings. I'm also your childhood friend so also try to understand my point. I know that you're kind but you're always following Stephanie's instructions so it makes you act wickedly just like her. As your friend, I'm advising you to avoid her while it's still early."

"Kim won't leave me just like you, Bill. I'm assuring you that."

"Is that so? Well then, I need to go now."

"Please! Why don't you like me? I have everything! Wealth? Beauty? Power? I have all of those!"

"But I just treat you as a friend, no more than that! But because of how you're acting right now, even our friendship will be possibly ruined. You can still find a better man than me. Please give up."

"No! I only want you! I like you! Not anyone else but you! It's no good if it's not you!"

"But I already like someone!"

"What?! Did I hear it right?"

"Yes it is, so please leave me alone."

"No! You're lying! I don't believe you! Then, tell me... Who is it? If you're really not lying, telling her name should be pretty easy, right?"

Janna's POV:

Geez. Why am I so unlucky? I actually stepped on a can. In the first place, why is there even a can here? This is a prestigious school for God's sake! All of the students are supposed to be well-mannered and disciplined to throw their trash on proper garbage bins.

Oh gosh, they noticed me! They must be wondering why I am stalking them.

"It's Janna! I like her!"

Wait, what? Is what I heard just now for real? I'm not imagining things, am I?

Wait, wait, wait... Bill is walking towards me now.

"I like Janna! Is that a problem?" Bill put his hand around my shoulder.

"That girl?! But I'm more beautiful than her!"

"Oh please! Do you really think that looks are everything?! She's kinder and smarter than you. She's not desperate like you do and I'm sure that she won't do any thing that'll harm my reputation. To be honest, I am already courting her, isn't that right Janna?"

Really? I don't even know about it...

"Please play along with what I'm saying." Bill whispered to my ears closely.

I see... So he's using me to cast Stephanie away. If he wants my help, I'll gladly give it to him.

"Yes, that's right! I am actually here to look for him since I am so excited to give him my answer."

"W-w-what are you talking about? Hey, I don't like where this is going... Stop that, right now!" Stephanie shouted loudly but this is not enough to intimidate me.

"I'm accepting your confession. I accept you as my boyfriend, Bill. Please take care of me from now on." I faced Bill and held his hands intimately.

"What?!" Someone suddenly shouted behind us. We looked only to discover that it's actually...

"Sophia?! What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be eating with others right now?"

"W-w-well... I kinda got worried about you since you looked pale when you left so I followed you but I didn't expect that you'll go here and not in the comfort room."

You've gotta be kidding me! This is getting really troublesome!

"I-I didn't thought that you and Bill have that kind of relationship. But I'm happy for the both of you!" Sophia happily congratulated us.

"Shut up!" Stephanie exploded out of rage.

"We're still not yet done, Bill! And you, Janna! I'm telling you, don't be too conceited just yet because I'll steal Bill away from you! Let's go, Kim!"

Stephanie and Kim went away and left me and Bill together with Sophia.
