The princess is missing
*Augruviel Dynasty*
The princess entered her room and slammed the door the door behind her angrily, moving to her bed in tears again.
"I should have known when her behavior changed, when she began to act weird, that she wasn't Azzura but I didn't care, she was my responsibility but I failed".
she blamed herself sobbing bitterly with her head buried in the pillow.
There was a knock on the door but few minutes of not responding the door opened and Ulrika walked in.
"Oh my darling, please don't cry, you have really cried enough for the day, please control yourself I know what she meant to you... I really do, but you gat to stop crying because this won't be what she want from you, because she loves you as much as you do, please dear stop".
Ulrika said trying to console her.
"You really think it's what she would want?". she asked looking up to her mother who replied with a nod.
"But, she was my responsibility and I couldn't take care of her, I'm I really that careless mom?"
she asked expecting a reply from her mom who was looking at her with pity.
"No my dear, you are the best master one could ever dream to have, no one in the whole dynasty would say wrong about you because they all saw how you treated her like your own sister that people would actually think that you two were siblings".
she said In an either assuring or promising tone.
"Really mom?" she asked in a teary eyes.
"Yes my darling, you have to go freshen up and wait for the arrival of her parents.
she assured and went to her bathroom,she led her to the bathroom after running her a bathing water.
" I will meet you downstairs sweetie, I love you". she said kissing her forehead.
"I love you too mom". Agatha return when Ulrika was almost in the door way, she turned back and smiled at her giving her kisses in the air and gently shut the door.
Agatha after taking her bath stood on the mirror to dress up but, remembered the moment she had with Azzura which nearly made her cry but she stopped herself.
"I have to stop for Azzura's sake".
she said wiping her eyes, and tried putting on a smile on her dull face, after which she went down and met with Azzura's parents who has already arrived and crying endlessly, she went to console them but joined them. sooner enough the burial was completed and Azzura's parents left with a condolence offer from the royal home in a whole. The news actually spread like wildfire but due to the king's high reputation the rumors dissolved earlier than expected.
" Father, I would like to go on a ride outside the palace, just to get some air". Agatha said to her father days after the death and burial incident.
"Okay dear, but do take the guards with you I'm sure you know the reason". he said drastically with a smile.
" But father I want to go alone I need no escorts for that". she objected of the opinion that she should leave alone.
"No Agie, you will else you are going no where". Johnathan stated not wanting an objection from her.
"But father I..."
she tried objecting but her father interrupted.
"No Agie , that's finally if you ain't going to listen to me then you go back to your room and don't try doing otherwise".
John stated making it finally and doesn't want to go further with the conversation.
Agatha left angrily without saying a word, she climbed her horse and rode off escorted by two guards.they rode on the trail of the forest.
"Geoffrey, that's the princess of the Augruviel Dynasty, I haven't actually meet her in person but with the things I heard about her she is said to be really beautiful, and with the way she has escort it's definitely her". Beyer explained to Geoffrey as Agatha rode pass them.
"Why tell me all these it gat nothing to do with me besides we are here for hunting not for the princess of Augruviel Dynasty".
Geoffrey stated not interested in the topic moving to the other part, not intentionally heading to the trail Agatha headed.
"(serpensortia!)" Ezzie chanted placing her hand straight conjured live snakes, which frightened the horses,and make them run haywire, as they kept on groaning. Geoffrey heard the groaning sounds of the horses and rushed over there, when he got there he saw that the horses are been attack my Snakes.
"This ain't ordinary snakes, they are conjured snakes". he said to himself moving a bit closer to take a peek of what was going on not revealing himself. Agatha tried so hard controlling the horses but all to no avail, one of the guards fell off the horse and was beaten by the poisonous snake which lead to his instant death, Geoffrey was shocked by the scene and decided he will intervene.
Ezzie smiled mischievously leaving them to die, after seeing the first guard die, she disappeared glad that she has finally gotten rid of Agatha.
The horse threw Agatha up and ran back as well, Agatha tried casting a safety landing spell but mistakingly cast another which threw her up higher than she was, she passed out being afraid of hight.
Geoffrey saw that and know she wasn't alright, he leaped high to the sky and grabbed her, she caught a glimpse of his face smiled and slowly shut her eyes again. Beyer couldn't believe his eyes seeing his friend in the air falling slowly to the ground, he checked if he was tied with a rope but couldn't see any. Geoffrey lands slowly to the floor and turned to the snake dropping Agatha down.
Beyer wanted to go help his friend out but discovered that Geoffrey was up to something.
"(vee-PARE-uh eh-vuh-NES-kuh)".
Geoffrey chanted twisting his hands to flow with his chants, the snakes vanished seeming to have been burnt. Beyer's mouth dropped open on seeing the event.
"Did he just...?" he paused for a while thinking of what he was about saying.
"I'm I really right? Geoffrey really has magical powers?" he said covering his mouth in amazement. meanwhile when all this was going on the remaining guard fell off his own horse and hit his head on a rock and rolled down the bushes and fell unconscious. Beyer made some noise
to alert Geoffrey that he was coming out pretending not to have seen a thing.
"Geoffrey, where have you been? I have been looking for you".
he asked trying to act normal.
"well, I was checking this area when I saw her lying her, so I decided to check on her". he lied trying to cover up the incident.
"Okay, is she alright? have you checked what happened to her?. he asked not wanting to doubt him even knowing he was lying.
"Yeah,I think she passed out due shock or frightened about something". but she will be better after some time". Geoffrey assured him.
"okay then, why don't we take her home so you can administer treatment to her, what do you think?" he asked expecting a positive reply.
"Sure if you insist, you know I can't deny you anything". he said pulling Agatha up, Geoffrey carried her while Beyer followed caring their hunting equipment.
Few moments later, the guard regained consciousness after looking for Agatha he carried his comrade and went back to the palace.
"Your Majesty" he said falling to his knee after dropping the corpse.
"What happened jack? why are you bleeding porously? and where is the princess?" he asked looking out continuously expecting his daughter to walk in.
"Your Majesty, the princess is missing and... and..."
he kept saying until he passed out due to haven lose lost of blood.
"Lancelot, take him in for treatment".
he ordered Lancelot still looking out for his daughter.
