She is not the suspect but the culprit.

Sophie came out looking at the two as they stared at each other.

"This is not right, they are actually step siblings, in as much as I want my son to be happy, I can't let him ruin it". she said to herself going closer them. she cleared her throat and they looked away from each other feeling awkward.

"Greetings your highness, although I am not from your kingdom royalty still ought to be respected". she said bowing to Agatha who stood immediately and stopped her.

"No ma'am you don't have to do that not ever again, we all are still humans besides I owe you a thank you because your son saved my life". she said with a smile putting her arms together in plead, Geoffrey's cheeks turned red in embarrassment and he put down his head not wanting to meet his mother's gaze .

"silly boy". she said with a smile pulling his ear.

"You look so adorable my dear, you are welcome to our small home, it's really not like a palace but to us it means the whole world and we cherish it a lot". she stated emphatically.

"I know ma'am and that was the subject we were discussing a while ago".

Agatha said smiling back at Sophie who nodded gently.

"Okay, let's go in I am done with cooking, my son is really a foodie he can't bear it when he his hungry". she said sprightly touching Geoffrey on his cheeks.

"C'mon mom I'm not". he defended himself.

"Well, maybe it's because he hunts and I guess hunters do have huge appetite".

she said defending him not even realizing she was doing so.

"finally, someone understands me".

he said sprightly while Sophie walked inside not wanting to argue with him, while Geoffrey and Agatha followed behind looking at each other without a word but smiled.

"Lancelot, go get the carriage ready we are going to the Crunthe Dynasty, I'm going to look for my daughter, I hardly waited for sunrise now I can't wait anymore". Johnathan stated the next morning losing his patient.

"Yes my lord". Lancelot said bowing not arguing with his order although knowing it was too early to visit the Crunthe Dynasty, he left to fetch the carriage leaving Johnathan all by himself. Ulrika walked in few minutes after Lancelot stepped out.

"My Lord please don't do this, it's quite dangerous for you to meet with Cane all alone, you know how deadly he can be so please don't". she pleaded with Johnathan who had already made up his mind to leave.

"I know how deadly he can be that's why I can't let my daughter be under his custody for so long". he said objecting with her subjection.

"But what if he does something wrong to you or what if Agatha is not actually with him or what if ..." she was still saying when Johnathan interrupted.

"Enough Ulrika! enough of the what if, we will get to know the truth when I get there and I never said I was going alone, I have the guards with me, so please let me go".

he said in either anger or plea.

"Your Majesty, the carriage is ready". Lancelot said kneeling after getting the carriage.

"Alright, I will be there in a while, call the other guards, tell them to be ready". he said to Lancelot dismissing him.

"Yes Your Majesty". he said and left.

"I will be leaving now Ulrika take care of the palace while I'm gone, I surely will get to the root of all this". he said stepping out not uttering another word.

Jonathan entered the carriage and Lancelot rode of while the others followed their lead. On reaching the Crunthe Dynasty the guards refused to let them in, Johnathan came down from the carriage starring daggers at them.

"Go tell your king that I am here to see him else, you want to lose your life".

He said in a mean face not smiling.

"You are not permitted and that's final!".

the guard said raising his voice at Johnathan which provoked Lancelot.

"Heyyy!, watch it!". Lancelot said pointing his finger at the guard but was stopped by Johnathan with a raise of hand.

Johnathan moved to the guard in a speed of light grabbing him on the neck, he was about strangling him to death when Cane approached them.

"Why the so much aggressiveness John you should have just waited for my arrival". he said making Johnathan turn towards him. Johnathan dropped the guard and walked over to where Cane was standing, the guard fell abruptly coughing and holding his neck in pain.

"Why did you tell the guards not to let me in? I shouldn't have hurt him if not for your orders". he said walking into his chamber with him.

" what do I owe this your unexpected visit?". Cane asked sitting down and stretched out his hand offering Johnathan a seat as well. Johnathan sat down looking kneely at Cane.

"Are you pretending not to know the reason I am here or do I have to remind you that?" he asked without further hesitation in his tone.

" how would I know what brought you here without you tell me?" he asked with honesty in his words.

"Fine, I will tell you, my daughter and the guards were attacked yesterday and an eye witness said it was someone from your palace". John stated plainly.

"Who is the suspect you are talking about?" really confused on the topic.

"Ezzie, the one you sent to my palace before, Cane I came here today because you are by brother because you and I quite knows what comes after a warning note". Johnathan stated not kidding.

"Ezzie?"you aren't sure about that and no evidence that she was the one". Cane stated not wanting to believe Ezzie was the culprit. Johnathan sent Lancelot to go fetch the witness.

"Lancelot, go fetch Calder, let's know who he actually saw in the forest". Johnathan ordered. Cane equally sent for Ezzie who almost came in the same time with Calder. she was shocked to see Calder because she thought they have all died in the forest.

"My Lord, you sent for me" she said bowing.

"Yes I did because the king of Augruviel Dynasty demands an answer from you".

"Calder, was she the one you saw in the forest that attacked you?"

Johnathan asked Calder demanding a quick answer from him.

"Yes Your Majesty, she was the one I saw in the forest the one who summoned the snakes that attacked us". Calder stated boldly not looking at Ezzie who wants to threaten him more.

"Ezzie did you actually do that? you are a suspect here speak up!" Cane shouted violently starring daggers at her. Ezzie began to shiver, she opened her mouth to speak but before she could Johnathan had already began to.

"She is not the suspect but the culprit! so, tell me where is my daughter?" Johnathan asked angrily about to lose his patience.

"Yes My Lord, I was the one who attacked them but I left immediately I didn't wait to see them all die that's why he was able to survive". she fell to her knees confessing as she gave Calder an evil glare.

"But the snakes what happened to them?" Cane asked standing from his sitting position and walking closer to her not smiling as Ezzie trembled in fear.

"My Lord, I left after seeing it bite the first guard, I didn't stay back". she said staggering backwards.

"And where did this happen?" Johnathan asked looking at her devilishly.

"The forest few miles away from our Dynasty" she stated emphatically.

He raised his hand over her making her float in the air, she staggered in the air holding her neck in pain.

Johnathan stood up and left not wanting to be a part of the execution, he left heading to the mentioned location.

"Didn't I warn you that a second mistake will cost your life?" Cane asked still holding her up in the air.

"My... lor..."she said but paused as her breath was already bridging.
