Long white locks were pinned with a golden gem. His golden eyes were clear and cold, a vermillion mark gracing his temple. His features were a kind of perfection that would make people completely unable to find a blemish in them, akin to something that was carved by a god. It made people want to draw close to admire such beauty but the youth radiated coldness and indifference that made one stay away.
"Raizel!" The words slipped from Lyle's lips.
The features were much sharper, the beauty so alluring and the aura completely different but Lyle had no doubt.
This was his Raizel.
The realization was like a shower of cold water drenching him from the inside out, especially as he recalled the same Raizel that he had seen in the dreams of Leilani.
Lyle chuckled darkly to himself feeling sorrowful, what was it? Self-doubt? Self-deceit? Leilani had even called the man 'Raizel' but Lyle did not equate it.
