141 John talking with Reeves
John was walking towards where he was feeling that his wife had to be when he finds Cait Sith on the way and thought, 'Maybe it is time to have a conversation with Reeves.'
John walked over and says, "Cait."
This surprised Cait Sith as he turned around and says, "Ah, John, what can I do for you?"
"Drop the act will you?" asks John as Cait Sith looked confused at him.
"What do you mean?" asks Cait Sith when John sighs while facepalming
"Reeves, I know it's you stop the act," says John as he looked at Cait Sith which ears suddenly fell.
"When did you find out?" asks Cait Sith as John smiles.
"From the beginning. I and my wife know this world good enough to know you are a spy of Shinra until someone had died," says John as he sits down gesturing to Cait to do the same.
"Until someone died?" asks Cait Sith as John nods.
"Normally someone would have died in this adventure but because my family is here she won't die. You became a real friend of the group after it was revealed Cloud still trusted you enough to let you help them," says John as Cait was quite surprised that someone would do that.
"I know that you are not loyal to Shinra but to the people of Midgar. Because you turned your back to Shinra after the events that transpired and took care of the people that lost their houses as you helped them rebuild their homes in Edge a new city beside the destroyed Midgar," says John as Cait Sith was shocked to hear that.
"Midgar will be destroyed in the future," says Cait Sith with a tone of fear.
"Like I said before. It would have happened if I wasn't around," says John as he put a seal on Cait before disappearing from the village when Cait looked around.
"John," says Cait as John was in Midgar right now he was rushing through the Shinra Building without anyone noticing as he arrived at Reeves' office finding him on the PC nervous.
"I'm here," says John as he was behind Reeves scaring the poor man to death making him even want to scream if John didn't put his hand on Reeves' mouth while saying, "Calm down. I'm only here to talk. It's easier for both of us since I really don't want to talk to a puppet the whole time."
Reeves calms down as John let's go of his mouth and Reeves asks, "How did you get here from the other side of the world?"
"Don't you people know that the world is round. I just needed to fly east to get to your west making it quite a small trip," says John as Reeves looked at him as if saying, 'No Shit.'
"Alright, I use one of my abilities and manipulated the cams in the building so we can talk comfortably with each other," says John as he sits down on the free chair Reeves had in the room.
"What do you want to talk about?" asks Reeves as John looks at him while smiling.
"Straight to the point then. I want you to send Shinra to Mt. Corel saying that a Huge Materia is there," says John as Reeves was not understanding John's logic.
"We are moving towards the Temple of the Ancients tomorrow and I don't want Shinra there since I don't want people to be buried alive in said Temple," says John as he looked at Reeves seriously when he continues, "And you don't want that either."
"Is it that dangerous?" asks Reeves as John nods.
"Yes, only people without good intentions will make the temple fall into itself. I know that you have good intentions but Shinra doesn't have them. They would make the building fall burying everyone inside," says John as Reeves was pale.
"But why Mt. Corel?" asks Reeves as John smiles.
"The old reactor is there and if a Huge Materia is really there they will go to make it theirs. That's why I know they will leave us alone and if they come back you can always say that we tricked you. Or even better you run to where our friends are," says John as Reeves understood John.
He heard that even the Turks were repelled by a group of four people that are protecting Aerith's mother when Reeves says, "I would like to but I have a mother to look after. Shinra could use her against me."
"Where does your mother live?" asks John as he made a clone of himself.
"What are you going to do?" asks Reeves as John smiles at him with confidence.
"Take her to where Shinra won't be able to touch her," says John as Reeves now understood and nods.
"She lives in Sector 5. I haven't heard from her in a long while. Let me write her a note she knows that I sent you to bring her somewhere safe," says Reeves as he writes the note for his mother when he asks, "Who is the person that would normally die?"
"It's Aerith," says John sad as Reeves now understood why she wouldn't die this time when John continues, "She still isn't over the bridge. But we won't allow her death. It was her death that gave the group the motivation to work together again and defeat Sephiroth. I and my wife are trying to do that so Aerith doesn't need to die in front of everyone as in every other reality."
This opened Reeves' eyes as he really loved the aura around the girl that was really innocent to her core when Reeves says, "I understand now why I might have helped in the others realities now. That girl is really special."
"She is," says John as Reeves gives the note to John's clone who rushed out of the office when two glasses appear in John's hand and in the other appeared a bottle of Jack Daniels while saying, "How about a drink to our new friendship?"
"I would take one," says Reeves as he takes the glass from John who poured it in both glasses and they clash th softly against each other while saying, "Cheers."
They drink it when John says, "It's been long since I had a real drink. Don't tell my wife or she will get mad."
"I won't say a word," says Reeves as John smiled while pointing at the monitor.
"See you on the other side," says John as he put his hand on Reeves's shoulder before disappearing and he appeared beside Cait Sith again while saying, "Let's go and look for the others."
Cait Sith nods as they begin to move. John finds Nesiara who was with Aerith and Yui as Tifa was kidnapped by Cloud when John says, "I leave my two daughters in your hand Cait."
As John took Nesiara away so they could enjoy the night together while Cait Sith says, "Let's have some fun watching the fireworks."
Making both women nod as they smiled to have a friendly companion with them since Cait Sith seemed to have cleared up his intentions when Aerith says, "I'm happy that you finally opened your heart completely to us."
"I needed a little push from a friend I think," says Cait Sith as both smiled from hearing that while Cait Sith whispered, "I will do my best to keep you alive."
The next day everyone was ready to leave as Yuffie had a heart-to-heart talk with her father while the others were enjoying the fireworks. She was quite exhausted but happy to have had that talk with her father.
They were sent off by Godo and his men while Cloud says, "Our next destination is the Old Tempel."
"Which temple?" asks Tifa as she was confused about what Cloud said.
"The Temple of the Ancients, it's a Temple that the Cetra built to keepsake a powerful Materia," says John as everyone looked at him while Aerith had sparkles in her eyes as it was the first time she heard of something that her people created that was still standing.
"And where is that Temple?" asks Barret curious since the Cetra build it.
"It's in the Junon Area," says Nesiara as some of the people were now confused.
"And why didn't we go there earlier then. We were there after all," says Yuffie as John takes the Keystone out.
"Because we didn't have this. If we were to get there without it we wouldn't be able to do anything since the Temple is protected. It would destroy itself so no one will be able to get the Materia inside," says John explaining why they didn't attempt to go there before.
"We will be going there but neither one of my family can enter that building," says Nesiara as now all three children looked confused.
"Why can't we enter the building?" asks Kieron as he didn't want to let Aerith enter there alone.
"It's a test created by the Cetra to test the will of the people that enter the Temple. Only the worthy can enter and get the Materia inside it. We know that we five can easily enter and leave the building by cheating the building since we are for you strong," says John as the group looked like they wanted to take this test.
They wanted to see how far they made it since they left Midgar while the others wanted to see the improvement they made from the training regime they have undergone.
"Then let's take said test and find out if we are worthy to take the Materia with us," says Cloud with resolve in his voice as his blood was pumping making everyone feel the same except for Cid who was still new in this group.
"And how are we going to get there?" asks Cid as everyone looked at him for ruining the moment.
"You know very well how we are going there. We are going to use your Bronco," says Nesiara as Cid forgot completely about it since Justice had his baby.
"Right, how could I forget my baby," says Cid as Nesiara summoned it out on the coast and they boarded it while Cid was on the console and says, "Hold on tight it will be a turbulent flied to the Temple."
