Agatha POV

Separating from Andrew and Jacob we marched towards the location where Emily was imprisoned and doing so we attracted the attention of all 3 leaders but sensing our intention they also split into 3 groups weakening their forces further.

It didn't take too long for us to meet our opponent because she came flying toward us in her true dragon form and landed in front of us.

Abby wauter also known as [embodiment of water] throughout the dragon realm. She has the absolute control over water in our surrounding and even the one flowing through veins of her opponent.

The absolute control she exert over water has never seen before in the entire history of dragon realm, but she was not born with this ability, she stole it from someone, killing him in cold blood and absorbing his water essence, betraying the person she had loved once only to gain the position of a leader.

She landed in front of us and all five of us stopped. Then Ethan, Celine and Bran once again started to run forward holding hands with each other while I and Sam took the fighting stance.

"Why are you in such a hurry my cuties, do you think I will let you pass." She tried to control the blood inside the bodies of all three of them but her ability didn't work, while all three of them phased through her body without any problem and continued to advance toward facility behind her.

"I am not in the best of my mood today, so stop annoying me." She shouted ignoring us and turning toward the rescue team.

[Water Domain]

A huge blue dome of water was made covering us and the rescue team, turning the ground into water, seeing this Sam manifested the black wings on his back and flew in the sky while I stood on the water facing the back of Abby.

The 5th leader Abby was unique among all the other leaders because she was able to use [Domain ability] to its full extent just like the primordial dragon could use.

She couldn't maintain it for long due to its high consumption of mana and lack of understanding of runes but it she had enough time to kill us, if she stopped playing around.

Her ability was continuously approaching the 3 peoples running towards the facility turning ground into water and if the ground beneath them turned into water they will be consumed by it, no matter what ability they possessed they will die, but I was not going to let that happen.

[Poseidon]

I retrieved a trident from the space rune and activate its first active ability [Absolute domain] and the next second the ever advancing water domain stopped in its tracks and so does the 5th leader Abby.

It was not me who had stopped Abby's domain ability but she herself has.

Ignoring the existence of Ethan's group she turned toward me with an angry expression.

"You thief, how dare you use my ancestral weapons in front of me." She roared.

"Look who is talking, a power hungry bi**h, who stole the essence of her own husband." Sam commented while floating in the sky unbothered by her suffocating presence, covering himself in dark fog from head to toe.

Without answering Sam, she made a slashing motion in Sam's direction and out of nowhere a threatening condensed water jet fired straight toward Sam to cut him in half but he vanished from his location appearing beside me.

"That ability, you are that thief who stole my trident aren't you?" She asked identifying Sam.

"Who know?" Sam replied once again agitating her.

"It doesn't matter; they won't be able to reach that dragon Emily anyway, after I have killed you and retrieved my draconic weapon, I will have plenty of time to deal with those two beasts and one weakling dragon." She assured herself focusing on us.

"Are you sure the things will go as you have planned." Sam said and activated his ability [Dark clone] and the next instance hundreds of clones of Sam appeared on the battlefield covered in black fog from head to toe.

He also covered me with fog which would confuse her while Abby just stared at clones.

At the command of Sam all the clones charged at Abby, me and Sam hidden among them and at the same time water spears rose from ground penetrating the clones but the water just passed through them and nothing happened to clones.

"You seemed to have improved your abilities." She said but Sam didn't reply.

Saying this she once again she used her most powerful ability [Water domain] which consumed all the clones and disintegrated them with immense water pressure.

Sam hid himself inside the [Dark dimension] while I activated [Absolute domain] ability of [Poseidon] and 10 meter of my surrounding remained unchanged by the [Water domain] of Abby.

Seeing her ability didn't work she dissolved into water and vanished from her position, I could still feel her presence but it was as if she was advancing toward me from all directions.

[Ice age]

I activated the 2nd ability of [Poseidon] and my whole surrounding froze including Abby but soon the ice started to melt and Abby in her humanoid form emerged out of the water.

She emerged from the ice unscathed by my attack while in her hand a silver ring was shone brightly. We had received information about this artifact from ken the Head researcher. It was some kind of time reversal artifact which will revert back the damage done to Abby as long as she wears it.

The ring quickly vanished back into her space rune while she retrieved a sword to fight us.

She was about to charge in my direction but soon an earthquake distracted us from our fight, which threatened to split the earth and swallow everything.

Looking into the distance I saw various large pieces of rocks floating in the air as if gravity doesn't affect them and in between those rocks golden arcs of thunder disintegrated everything.

Andrew was playing around with 9th leader Jet the Thunder god; Turning my head I focused on Abby revealing my suppressed killing intent for the first time which made her flinch.

"It is not good manners to show your mother your killing intent, didn't guardian Alex teach you some manners." She said to me while maintaining a cunning smile on her lips.

"He taught me how to kill you and that is enough for me." I said pointing [Poseidon] in her direction.

"Then let me teach you something as well." She said pointing her other hand in the direction of Poseidon and I felt slight tremor coming from Poseidon but nothing happened, she was trying to recall her old companion but it was useless.

"As expected of my daughter, you have tamed my weapon very well, I think I will have to kill you and retrieve it from your corpse." She said retracting her hand back pointing her sword at me but suddenly a dark portal appeared beneath her feet ready to consume her but she covered her sword with blue aura and cut the portal without any delay and the portal vanished into thin air.

"Cheap tricks like this won't work on me." She said.

"Is that so?" Sam said looking down on the feet of Abby which were corroding because they touched the darkness just now.

Abby focused on her feet which slowly started to turn black and her regeneration has failed to counter the corroding.

She once again retrieved the ring from her space rune and immediately the effect of corroding disappeared.

"What sorcery is this?" She shouted looking at Sam.

"Oh these are just some cheap tricks I have learned in past few years, but you have become weak 5th leader Abby since the last time we fought, how long will your artifact save you?" Sam said revealing his face from the black fog.

"Long enough to kill you." Abby said and released her powerful momentum inside the [Water domain] and the ability of [Poseidon], [Absolute domain] started to shrink.

"I thought I would say something cool to her and take revenge for my brother but I don't want to see her face anymore, let's just kill her." Sam said opening hundreds of portals inside the [Water domain] and vanishing from my side while I prepared myself to face her head on.

Andrew POV

I was conserving my strength and at the same time moving the earth beneath my feet at full speed toward the teleportation array when I felt a powerful presence tracking me from behind.

I heard a thunderclap behind me and understood who it was 'Thunder god Jet'.

current 9th strongest leader and 2nd fastest leader after the 3rd leader Aria who had the ability to control wind.

His ability was worse matchup for me because if we fight one on one the fight would unnecessarily drag on. Earth dragons were slower than most of the other dragons because they lacked wings and due to their bulky figure but I had overcame this weakness long ago.

The piece of land on which I was floating submerged inside the earth as if I was moving on water and consumed me with it. Soon my presence also vanished because 9th leader Jet came to halt midair focusing his senses to find me.

I was moving underground at high speed toward the array but the 9th leader knew my destination and would definitely follow me thus i prepared a small gift to keep 9th leader Jet occupied.

The ground beneath him started to shake and split apart. From underneath the ground hundreds of spikes and weapons made out of stone coated with hard minerals shot up toward the flying leader Jet who responded with bringing intense golden lightning from sky, our attack collided midair and debris fell on the ground.

There was a reason why I was the strongest retainer and earth dragon in the entire dragon realm because when I am connected with earth I can sense the 100 of kilometers of area around me, manipulating it as much as I desired on top of that the lightning of 9th leader was definitely dangerous but in front of my tough skin it would not leave more than a scratch.

It was also true that I will not be able to defeat 9th leader Jet because of his speed and thus I wanted to avoid fighting until I have completed my objective.

9th leader kept attacking the ground with his golden lightning creating crater after crater while I advanced toward the teleportation blocking array. I will have to destroy the array as soon as possible and help other retainers fight in order to avoid casualties, because that is the real mission entrusted to me by Lord Alex.
