After wasting time getting out of the market and getting back in the mortal realm, I unfurled my wings, my black feathers soaking up the warmth while the gold tips stayed cool. I took off as if time was of the essence. I went around the mountain and saw one of the many portals to hell I had placed around Earth. I rucked my wings in and dove towards it, my normally well kept hair whipped. I hadn't flown this fast in ages. The feeling that used to be so familiar to me now feeling foreign. Within seconds of making my dive, I was through and the eternal screams reached my ear. "Home sweet home." I said to myself with a smile. It felt like it took forever to get back through the nine circles. Coming to the end of the last circle, I saw my door and threw my wings out, bracing to land. The door opening as I landed, Beezlebub met me at the entrance, "Sir, you're back?! Was the Intel I received correct?". "Yes Beezlebub it was correct." I said flatly with him trailing my heels through the door. Walking down the hall I thundered "LILITH" keeping my pace even before reaching the void. She spent most of her time there talking with her demons. Just the thought of it, made my skin boil. She took on a motherly role with them and it was disgusting. I reached for the handle and noticed Beezlebub waiting upon my commands. "Beezelbub, start assembling your best trackers." I stated plainly. Beezlebub bowed his head and went back the way we came down the hallway his red skin coming forth and his black swirls taking hold. I twisted the knob knowing Lilith was behind the door waiting. Looking in, she was calm and the void was calm. "Lilith! So when were you going to tell me about your newest addition?" I angrily called to her making the void quake. Turning to face me she held the same look of innocence that she held all those centuries ago. "My newest Lucifer?" she replied showing no concerning behavior. "The little succubus with 4 marks Lilith.". She brought her finger to her temple seeming to think of who I could be talking about when when I lost my patience shouting at her, "THE SUCCUBUS WITH THE CRESCENTS IN HER EYES LILITH!". Her eyes went wide as if she suddenly remembered saying , "Oh Lamia!" a soft smile covering her face, she continued, "She just got ahold of her vessel a few weeks ago and she's done some magnificent damage to men so far.". Clapping her hands together softly , her eyes lit up with excitement as she answered. "Tell me Lilith how your little succubus managed to throw me into a wall and get away from me?!" I queried. The ever growing disdain present in my voice. Her face went pale. That was a good sign. Lilith was clueless as to what this little succubus of hers could do. She dropped at my feet apologizing. "Get up Lilith". I said defeated. She got up and stared at the floor. "Lucifer, I will end her. I am so very sorry that she did that and I will ammend it." she whispered out. "No Lilith you won't. She's far to strong for even you to handle. You will bring me that little succubus or summon me whenever she appears in the void next." I commanded. "Yes Lucifer." she said bowing her head. I turned and walked out of the void, slamming the door behind me. Going to my room after the events of the day was what I needed. Looking around, my books sat stagnant in large bookcases reaching the ceiling with me not having combed through them in years. Driven by curiosity, I pulled ancient texts and scrolls out carrying them over to my desk. I wanted to know everything about this succubus and what her little abilities were. She would be mine.

Mia POV:

B easily found us another Inn to stay in and once it thinned out in the market, he went off to let Seli and Horde know what had happened and where we were at. He thought it best if Horede and Seli stayed there and we stayed here just in case Mika'il returned. "What kind of name is Dragonfly for an Inn anyways?" I internally questioned with no answer. Lamia had been quiet the past few days and I had started growing concerned. I internally pestered her trying to get her to reply and nothing. I had even tried forcing her forward but nothing happened. It was like she had gone to sleep and no matter what I did, I couldn't get her to wake. At this Inn, we had a room with two beds and B had been spending most of his time teaching me defensive moves. Drilling them into me and my body was weak. I knew we needed feed and soon. Pouring through books B had picked up, I couldn't make sense of any of it. There were moon goddesses who created werewolves, Vampires created by a human man named Ambrogio, and the list went on and on. Types of Demons and angels, fae history, and the roots it had in religion. It would make anyone's head spin. I heard the deadbolt unlock which pulled me from my thoughts. "Still studying?" B said coming through the door. "Yea, I think I'm going to see if I can visit Lilith. I'm really worried about Lamia.". B nodded and I made my way towards my bed that I called dibs on when we first arrived. Laying on the bed, I willed the void to take me to it. Arriving in the void, the ribbons were floating as usual. Lilith stood talking to someone with black skin engulfed in golden swirls. "Lilith" I called questioning if I should interrupt or not. The black skinned being turned around flatly saying and crossing her arms, "We were wondering when you were gonna show up." My eyes went wide. I knew that voice. I ran to black skinned giving her a hug, "This is where you've been!" Pushing me away Lamia replied, "Yea was wondering when you were gonna notice I was asleep." I looked at her as if she had three heads, "But how? You said demons didn't sleep.". She replied "I don't know. You laid down the other night and halfway through I was so bored I must've passed out and woke up here." Lilith interrupted, "You both need to go back together. Mia you cannot stay long. Lucifer knows what you look like. Me and Lamia have gone over everything and I'm sure she will share once you get back.". Upon finishing her sentence, she waved bye and then proceeded to smack both of our chests. I awoke gasping for air, B jumping up off his seat and rushing over. Before he had a chance to worry, I blurted out, "We're fine." and he immediately went back to studying the books. Internally I asked "Lamia?". After bo response I asked again. Finally after what seemed like forever "Gotcha. I can feel your worry. You care that much?" ring out from Lamia. I hugged myself and B probably thought I was crazy asking "Everything okay over there?" raising an eyebrow. "It's fine! Lamias back!" I exclaimed happily. He again went back to reading. "So what did Lilith say?" I questioned her. "Mia we need to prepare for war.".
