77 The Great Ape Reappears

"Grr... I'll show my my secret art!" Jackie Chun said in annoyance. He put his palms together and concentrated his Ki on them.

*Bzzt Bzzt* His palms were covered in lightning.

"Thunder Shock Surprise!" Jackie Chun pushed his hands toward Goku and shot out a current of lightning.

*Zap Zap* The current hit Goku and lifted him several meters above the ground. The current continued to flow from Jackie's hands to Goku, continuously zapping him.

Jackie Chun tried to make Goku give up several times to no avail, Goku was very stubborn, so he slowly increased the voltage. Goku's body was shaking badly from the lightning current, just as he was about to faint, he saw the full moon hanging in the sky. The sun had set and night was approaching, but the full moon was visible.

Goku, still zapped by the lightning current and hanging in the sky, transformed into a giant furry ape monster. His weight increased more and more, making it harder for Jackie Chun to lift him, soon his Thunder Shock Surprise technique was destroyed by Goku's great ape form.

"Oh no! The moon came out!" Yamcha shouted anxiously upon seeing the full moon.

"Wh-what is that...?" Krillin's eyes popped out in shock, he had trained with Goku for so long without ever knowing that he could transform into a great ape.

Everyone on the scene were shocked by the sudden transformation.

"Luckily I finished controlling my new great ape form." Kalan thought calmly. He no longer felt panic upon seeing the full moon.

"Crap! We forgot to warn Goku about his transformation!" In the audience, Bulma, Oolong and Puar looked worriedly at the stage.

Goku fell down and landed with half his body on the Martial Arts Temple which was adjacent to the stage.The temple broke, Goku continued to break apart the temple and throw pieces of the building everywhere. The audience broke out in panic and started fleeing.

"Uwaaaah! T-This is dangerous! B-But as the announcer, I cannot flee!" The announcer spoke into the mic.

"I-I'm the one in the greatest danger here!! If I run out of bounds, I will lose!" Jackie Chun shouted. His hair stood on end like a hedgehog with snot hanging down his nose. He looked fearfully at Goku without an idea of what to do.

Krillin hurriedly shouted to Goku, telling him to turn back as he was putting everyone in danger. But Yamcha explained that there was no use in trying to talk sense into Goku in his current state. He explained that Goku would turn into a monster whenever he looks at the full moon.

Jackie Chun upon hearing their conversation, looked at the moon with great determination.

"Kalan! Don't look at the moon!" Yamcha warned.

"What?! Don't tell me he also will transform?!" Jackie turned to look at the calm Kalan standing in from of Bulma and protecting her from any debris from falling towards her.

"Don't worry, I won't lose consciousness and go on a rampage like Goku." Kalan said.

"Full Power Kamehameha!" Jackie Chun turned toward the moon, powered up to the maximum with Pump Up and launched his strongest Kamehameha at the moon. The Kamehameha was so bright it blinded everyone for a moment.

At first, everyone thought Jackie Chun killed Goku. But he explained he simply destroyed the moon.

"Hey, that's dirty. How am I supposed to transform?" Kalan jokingly complained.

"Like hell! If you can control yourself in that state, won't I be a goner?!" Jackie Chun countered. A smart beast was naturally much more dangerous than a dumb one that only followed ones instincts.

"Great, now we never have to see either of them transform again!" Oolong said happily.

The audience came back after hearing the danger was gone. Goku stood butt naked and was about to continue the fight. But the audience started laughing at him. The announcer asked Goku to put on some clothes.

"I'll let you use my gi." Krilling kindly offered.

"It's alright, don't worry." Goku declined and turned to look at Kalan.

"Kalan! Can you make me some nice clothes? I want them to look like Krillin's" Goku shouted to Kalan.

"Make clothes? Now? We don't have the time, Goku!" Krillin looked quizzically at Goku. He thought Goku wanted Kalan to literally sew clothes for Goku.

"Alright, I'll make them comfortable and durable." Kalan said and held his hand out toward Goku.

"Ha!" Kalan shouted and materialized the Turtle School's gi. He made them extra durable just for fun.

The crowd looked in amazement, one second earlier, Goku was naked, one second later, Goku was fully clad again.

"Oh, let's awe them a little more..." Kalan thought after seeing the crowd's look.

"Hey Announcer-kun. How about I fix the temple?" Kalan asked.

"Huh? You mean you can also fix it like you did with the clothes?" The announcer asked curiously.

"Yep." Kalan said and flew above the broken temple. He quickly repaired it and flew back down, he stood with Bulma and company.

"Are you trying to show off?" Bulma asked curiously seeing the satisfied look on Kalan and the audiences awe.

"Yep, I want to be famous." Kalan said honestly.

"Please join Kalan's dojo! It will be the future number 1 dojo in the world!" Kalan shamelessly advertised.

"Y-You can materialize just like Kami-sama...?" Jackie Chun stared at Kalan in shock, his jaws shaking, eyes widened and snot hanging down his nose. He seemed to have more knowledge and had a few guesses after seeing Kalan materialize.

"Hey, Yamcha. What is Kalan...?" Krillin asked with a dumb look on his face.

"I have no idea..." Yamcha replied equally shocked. He knew Kalan could materialize clothes, but he did not think he could simply repair such a large temple in a second.

The fight started again. Jackie Chun although exhausted from the Full Power Kamehameha, could still fight. He launched a punch and landed on Goku's gi.

*Dong* The punch landed on the seemingly soft cloth, but the sound that was generated sounded like metal.

"Ouch! Owie owie ow!" Jackie Chun jumped around while blowing his swollen fist. He felt like he had punched a metal wall.

"Huh?" Goku looked at his clothes curiously.

*Dong Dong Dong* He gently knocked on his clothes.

"Wow! They are so hard and durable, but they still feel so soft!" Goku complimented.

"Hey! That's cheating! You're practically wearing an iron suit!" Jackie Chun shouted exasperatingly.

"But I wasn't the one who made them." Goku said innocently.

"Kalan! Are you playing with me?!" Jackie Chun directed his anger on Kalan.

"But it's still 'just' clothes, though?" Kalan said with an innocent face.

The announcer also examined Goku's clothes, and announced that they weren't allowed. Kalan modified the clothes to be normal and then the fight begun again.
