Mission(4)

They arrive at the capital. When the get through the gates, everyone sighs in relief.

"When can run back quickly as soon as we deliver this package. If you have things you want to do in the capital during this time you can." The four of us nod. We decide to break off from Asuma as he heads to meet the daimyo.

The four of us decide to go out to a restaurant and then go to the movies. The day was relaxing. It was especially so with how stressful the fight was. I didn't end up using the hidden compartment on the carriage though. I wonder if the village could use it for these types of missions again. Moving in a rush and in a good carriage like our first one attracts to much attention. After an 4 hours away from Asuma sensei, he showed up.

"Change of plans. Tomorrow you guys will follow me to meet the daimyo and we're leaving immediately after. We're goin by carriage again." I feel things are getting annoying.

We all went to sleep early. We arrived in front of a palace. Going through the intense security was nerve-racking. I use my eyes and see everything around me. On either side of the walls are rows of guards. This place almost seems impenetrable. I don't think even the village would be willing to sacrifice to get in here. Soon we entered a room a long table and a bunch of older men. At the head of the table was the daimyo. He looked wholly uninterested in what was happening. A man sitting to the right stood up. We were told not to say or do anything rash.

"We will employ you to deliver a letter back to your village. You can not let this letter come to any harm. We launching a full scale assault on this so called sound village." The man who stood up said. He was middle aged but had a head of whitening hair. He didn't seem to age very well.

The four of us grimace. The meeting went as follows. We were commended for delivering everything safely and correctly. The elders talked about how the sound messed with the wrong people. Last we were told that as long as we follow them everything will go smoothly for us. We prepared to head out for the return trip tomorrow. This time we decided to run back as fast as we can because we were already found out. We went to sleep early and woke up even earlier.

The moon was still up when we left. The guards didn't even know we left. The trip was going smoothly on the first day. On the second we noticed there was tracks of people moving around. When we woke up to head out on the fourth and last day. We noticed three people and some traps laid out. Asuma took the leader of the group, I was to fight alone, and the other three were to fight the last person. They needed to stall him until me or Asuma could come help. This was a worst case scenario situation. Asuma was fighting a jounin and I was fighting a special jounin and the three were fighting a chuunin. As a versatile chuunin strength fighter I would be able to fight against this special jounin. Although struggling I should hold him off if not push him back. How wrong I was.
