And now one of the clown was trying to beg a kid by grabbing his right foot, while the kid was still trying to ignore the old geezer, and from the street vendors view it was not like the kid was extremely joyous by the old geezer tying up his foot, not until the kid's complexion became dark and some veins started to become visible through his face,

''Fucking Old Gatekeeper! stay away from me you fucking GAY!!''

Light moved his left foot and kicked the gatekeeper out of his sight—what he hates the most are males that are trying to stick to him, he took a deep breathe before gazing at the old gatekeeper who was deep in the ground, and with an annoyed face, Light loudly thundered his warning towards the gatekeeper,

''You should stay away from me, I don't want to see your disgusting ugly face.''

Although, it was mean, the old gatekeeper tried to burrowed his head deep in the ground, he kowtow repeatedly while saying 'sorry' to Light,

''Please forgive me my humble master! Pls don't call your pappy for help!''

''Pappy?''

Light's mind was all floating with a small cute puppies, it was swirling and coiling all around his head, a word that could make him confuse was still really alive after all,

''Yes Pappy? didn't you try calling your Pappy for what I've done to you?''

It seems like Light have a gist of the sudden situation, his two eyes became shallow as he deeply stare at the gatekeeper,

'And perhaps, I can make a hold of this situation.'

From Light's perspective it was as if he was the one controlling the situation, his eyes twitched for a second before sparkling a miniature of dust, an awesome plan was all floating through his mind,

''Yes, you are right. I was on the road of calling my Pa-Pa-Pappy to ask for help. It seems that you have offended me, and I can't just look away from it.''

The gatekeeper nodded his head, feeling unease of the circumstances, he showed a gloomy face before bowing again to the ground,

''Please I will do anything, just don't call your family for help!''

A wide grin couldn't hid himself anymore, it was a moment what Light awaited the most, a feeling of great enthusiasm slowly began to travel through his hands,

Confused, the gatekeeper raised his eyebrow in a fury way, it seems that the kid wanted money as a compensation,

''100 Silver, will you hand it or no?''

''100 Silver!?? it is my 1 month salary!''

Light turned his physique away from the gatekeeper, he started to take a steps away from him, and it seems that the street vendors gossips began to fade away from Light's little steps, and the gatekeeper old complexion burst through excessive anger,

Light mumbled to himself, as he stopped and waited for the gatekeeper's response,

''Fine! I will pay you 100 silver!''

Droplet of tears began to fall as the Old Gatekeeper handed the 100 silver coins to the kid, and Light showed an enormous smile every time a single coin was dropped on his brown pouch,

''That's it, 100 silver coins as a compensation! I hope you will take on your word and wouldn't dare to bite at a lowly employee like me!''

''Yes, yes, I never bite at my benefactor.''

The gatekeeper was stunned by the kid's retort, but his work in trying to ask for forgiveness was already done, and now he decided to leave the kid to proceed in his guarding duty,

''May you please excuse me, I still have a lot of more work to do.''

''Yes, yes, you may go now, shoo, shoo, I don't need you here anymore.''

Light took care of the Old Gatekeeper by waving his hand, like a dog being abandoned by his owner, the old gatekeeper began to walked away from the kid who stole his 1 month worth of salary, he downed his head in disbelief trying to calculate how much he had lost from the kid, it was as if he still have some things he wanted to buy with his money, but it was all stolen in a single day, and not just from a single day, it was stolen from a broad daylight where people used to gather and buy off their needs,

''What a bad day, I hope this won't happen to me anymore.''

With a clench in his fist, Light now could see the worth of the Vain city, he mustered of his looks before taking a deep breath, and after that he nodded his head lightly as he keeps gazing to the streets with his sparkling eyes—looking for a food to eat.

''A bread and a hot coffee perhaps?''

While touching his chin, Light moved his eyes left to right, trying to look for a place that are selling bread and a coffee, his eyes converged to the street vendors that are selling fruit and vegetables around, it pierced through their eyes and nearly combust their bodies from his excessive stares,

Light slowly tap his foot, before approaching a muscular male vendor with some green bandana tied up on his head, Light looked at his stocks, and it seems like he is only selling red apples—their eyes met, but from the street vendor's point of view, the kid was not a customer, he was just there to disrupt and destroy his sales, he bit his lips before urging a word to the kid,

''Sorry kid, we are close for the day.''

''What?''

''Can't you hear? or you are just a deaf? I said we are close for the day.''

The muscular street vendor began to cover up his fresh red apples with a blanket, he didn't mind the kid in front of his stand, nonetheless he didn't try talking to him, he gaze at the other street vendor around the place, and it seems that they were all worried for him at all—a noble and a commoner is just too highly apart, it is like the separation of the Earth and the Sky, no matter what you would do, it could not be reach by his lowly powers,

''Hey, why are you packing up? I'm not here to destroy your sales, although, my face looks like a noble, I'm seriously a peasant.''

''Then give me 20 apples, and a piece of information where I could buy a coffee and a bread in here.''
