The street vendor immediately told Light the way and passages to buy his needs, and before Light left, the muscular street vendor wearing a green bandana gave him his identification card of the Asrias family.
Due to the kid's babbling about how he's not able to enter the academy gates, although it is an identification card of a lowly commoner, still it is probably enough to make the little kid have a pass through that highly restaurant.
''Straight, straight, then left, if you ever see's an Inn with a name Cereria's Coffee in it. Then that is the place which I am looking for.''
Light mumbled to himself while heading through his destination. And somehow, he had noticed that the lively street became unusually quiet. There were no people shouting, or people buying out their daily necessities. It was not bustling like before rather it is quite desolated.
''Am I inside an artificial realm? But how did that happen, I didn't even realize it till now!''
Baffled, Light was seriously not mistaken that he is inside an artificial realm that the other magicians had made. He was in thought of whom cast it, and if there could a chance that he could suspect someone, then it could only be her ex-wife (Flowe)
She is the only one capable of maintaining a high-rank spatial spell like this for a week.
''Artificial realm is only casted if there is someone fighting, and it is a way to avoid being seen by civilians or being interrupted by a stronger magician, and I'm in a tough spot here. Why the heck am I being dragged by something as detrimental as this? Why's my luck just too bad?!''
While complaining about how bad his luck is, he could also not stop himself from kicking a pebble stone on the ground, and after kicking it through far, he's now able to calm his mind.
Light pinched his cheeks and applied some pressure to his feet. Without wasting any fraction of seconds. He instantly ran to investigate the artificial realm that he's caught up with.
The surrounding street was somewhat dull, there are carriages, a pile of colorful mana stones and wands being displayed in a corner, and it is just that the vendor who's selling it is missing. There are also houses everywhere with a red stone-roof just similar to the real ones before, but there was only one thing that were missing. There was no sign of life, nor an active civilian.
Until Light decided to climb the peak of the clock tower to view the surroundings more vividly. And what he saw from the top was somewhat unreal, nor too good to be true.
''Oh, no.''
His intuition was correct, there were really people fighting in the amidst of the artificial realm. The clanging of swords, and the voice of the magician casting a profound spell, although he could not hear it, but he knew that they are not in a good condition.
''Fuck? What is happening with my luck nowadays? Perhaps I am really destined to die, so that the Gods could take my soul and use it as a furnace to make a new planet?''
Different kinds of magicians were fighting against each other, some of them were equipped with red robes, while some are green, where he could tell that they are not from the 'Vain Continent', but there are just too many of magicians colliding each other which he could not even grasp their nationality.
But Light could tell their intentions, they are somewhat trying so hard to obtain a piece of monster cores, from a 1st Order beast. The beast looks like a wolf with a crimson fur.
And every time a Crimson Wolf dies. Several magicians intended to fight, injuring and crippling each other just for a single piece of monster core. Even if they've plundered it from another person, as long as they took a held of it they wouldn't mind.
As time passes by in the top of the bell tower, Light began to question the mystery behind the artificial realm while peeking through the chaos in a small hole he made.
Questions began appearing through his mind when he was reminded of that devilish ex-wife of hers. She was not capable of utilizing any space magic, because the syntax and elements of it are too profound. Even with her innate ability to absorbs mana it is not enough to fully grasp the elements of space.
''Right, all she does is absorb mana to make trees and flowers which is annoying. And also she's a dryad who only knew nature magic, water magic, and some freaking absorption which is too dangerous even for me. Well, I knew that she is not someone who could utilize space magic, even I only knew slight information about it... Wait. But what if this isn't a spell but an artifact?''
Mysteries and thoughts began to flow all over Light's mind. He could not stay calm anymore and started to walk in a plodding manner,
''If it's a spell then it's okay, but if it's an ancient artifact that contains space elements...''
Light stopped for a second before continuing again,
''Then, then, I am doomed. I be trapped here for all the eternity! This isn't an artificial realm! This is a copied version of the real city of Vain, In short I got dragged in a different dimension without I'm even knowing!''
Light melancholy sat in the corner of the bell tower, he was unusually pissed by the sudden change of event.
His plans for the future was stuck between the cities of an artificial realm. If he could not find a way to get out of this realm, then it would be the same as giving up his entire life.
''Alright, this situation is not good, but this situation is never impossible to deal with. All I need to know is the purpose of this artificial realm, or why they made a realm which could trap thousands of magicians.''
Without wasting any time Light climb off the stairs, moving away from the clock tower to the city of Vain.
He was curious as to what really is the purpose of this realm, and why is to that there are thousands of magicians from another continent fighting against each other for a single piece of monster core.
Important information began circulating through his mind, and only the magicians from another continent could answer all of his questions,
''I have decided, I will ask them in a sincere tone of my voice, but if they make the slightest move on me. Then I won't try to be polite anymore.''
Light quickly tap his feet to the ground, and all he needs is to cast a Tier 1 strengthening spell does not exceed a few 3 secs. His black boots shone brightly as he swiftly moves roof by roof. And His heroic white uniform sways every time he glides through the air.
Seeing a group of magician fighting each other. Light immediately approached them without any dark motives.
''Hello there! Hey! Hey!!''
Light tried to increase the tone of his voice, and yet the group of magicians wearing a green robe does not even pay him in mind. They were all busy trying to handle the other magicians, and they could not let a single disturbance destroy them.
''Protect the young princess, cast some tier 3 barrier magic!''
''Shield the young princess!!''
''Cripple all the magicians that try to harm the princess!!''
This was a moment which Light could not say anything through his mouth. The magicians wearing green robes and who were protecting the lady were all Tier 4 magicians.
Not just Tier 4 but some of them are also Tier 5 which could lightly swept all the kids fighting here in just a few minutes.
What Light doesn't understand is that not only those 15 magicians does not try to harm any other magicians from another country, and yet they are only using their barrier magic and tier 2 nature magic (Vine Tentacle) to fight back 50 other magicians from another continent.
''Boo~! Are they dumb? Or they just wanted to be buried. Why can't they just kill all of them in one swept, what's so hard about it?''
Light mumbled to himself while sitting under the red roof, watching the intense clashing 50 meters away. The green robe magicians were now circling the single lady same in dress as them.
They were somewhat trying to protect her from other magicians, considering what it is that the other magicians want from her, Light does not know.
And he was now itched to know about the happenings in the artificial realm, as to why he got dragged in an internal conflicts among magicians.
''I hope that young lady could answer all of my questions, and as to how I ask her. Perhaps 2 gates are enough?''
With a grin in his face, Light cast a spell which is a small portion of the [thousands of gates]. And a bright portal emerge in the ground where the lady in the green robe was standing.
And without she knowing, she was already dragged by something unusual.
''W-wh-what is this?''
''No Princess get out of there that is a spell!!''
''Quick! The princess is in trouble!''
''No! Princess! Get away from that Light!''
Even with the cramming of the young lady's protector, they still can't stop the portal from taking her away from them, and without a single trace left.
She disappeared without knowing where she went.
Only particles of light were left, and it got blew away from the wind accompanied by the dust.
The magicians wearing a green robe dropped their knees to the ground, knowing that they failed their job to protect her.
''What will I tell the Queen?''
''Oh no, The Elf Queen will all plant us to the soil.''
''I'm really destined to be a carrot.''
''Fuck, I should not have accepted this job.''
''I be buried if I return to the Elfear kingdom with this kind of news.''
On the contrary, away from the melancholy of the magicians who is supposed to protect their princess. Light quietly sat from the corner of the roof's chimney. He sat there waiting for the young lady to arrive through his casted gate.
Within a few seconds a shining Portal emerge from the air, it swirled through the space like a distorted water, and in a slight moment. A young lady dressed in a green robe walks out of the holy gate.
''Wh-where am I?''
The young lady saw a little kid sitting in the corner of the chimney. She was somewhat leery of him, the looks in his eyes were somewhat frightening, and the way he massages his chin were giving off a dangerous vibe.
''Y-You! Wh- who are you!''
Stuttering, the young lady tried to sharpen her voice, so that people could hear their conversation, especially her guards.
''Who Me? Uh, Even If I tell you who I really am, You would only take it as a joke.''
''Th-then why did you take me here!''
''Don't worry, Just don't do anything stupid, and I won't do anything precarious to you. I only need to inquire you some of my questions.''
''Like hell will I answer!''
The young lady quickly tried to jump off the roof, but she did not know that Light already prepared a tier 3 spell barrier beforehand, to prevent intruders from the outside to interrupt their conversation.
And as a result the young lady bounced her head to the barrier which flew her 1 meters away in an excruciating pain.
''Awh, my head.''
''I told you not to do anything stupid, and yet, you don't listen.''
