Oliver's mouth hung down as he looked at his list of opened and locked skills & abilities. Although it was known that some Metahumans could have more than one superpower. The number of powers he could unlock reached the thousands.

"This seems unreal." He muttered, "Wait system, what do you mean when you say host ability, system skill, and system ability."

[Host abilities are abilities that Host had before the system, but were dormant.]

[System abilities are abilities that System has given to the Host]

[System skills are skills deriving from the Host's Abilities. So that Host doesn't die again.]

"I see," Oliver said while focusing on the system's first words and ignoring the system's last remark.

'So I did have powers they were just dormant.' Oliver thought with pride now knowing that he wasn't always going to be a powerless loser if he didn't die or meet the system.

"System can you show me the information about all of my abilities and skills."

System remark: System gave Host this skill so he can run away and not die.

Ability: Can increase host maximum strength by 5 points.

Cost: Every second ability is active (-1 ESP)

System remark: System gave Host this skill so he can not be a weakling.

Ability: The host can create, shape, control, and manipulate all aspects of a sun.

Cost: Depending on how much energy the Host uses.

System remark: A very good ability. The Host's Ability can surpass its level when the sun is out.

Grade: A

Ability: The host can create weapons that can be wielded or launched off of his imagination, or by analyzing already made weapons.

Cost: Depending on how much energy the Host uses.

System remark: A very good ability. The Host will only be able to make basic weapons until the ability is leveled up.

System remark: The system has given the Host this skill as an example of what the Host's Solar Manipulation Ability can do.

Info: A Basic two-handed sword. Can be wielded or controlled by the Host.

Cost: (-10 ESP every five seconds)

System remark: The system has given the Host this skill as an example of what the Host's Weapon creation Ability can do.

Type {Active Skill}

Info: A skill that allows the host to make an invisible mark on an item, person, or object by making physical contact. Then host can teleport to its/their location if the mark is in the host range.

Cost: (-2 ESP per meter.)

System remark: The system has given the Host this skill as an example of what the Host's Spatial manipulation Ability can do.

'Well, Damn I have two SS grade abilities and even an A grade one.' Oliver thought surprised at the system's generosity.

Oliver was pretty satisfied with all his abilities, but there was one thing he had to know as this would depend on how fast his progression will be.

"System, because I can gain attribute, skill, and ability points, does that mean using points are the only way I can level them up." He waited for a while which scared him, but luckily the system answered him.

[Host's attributes like strength, agility, etc. can be gained by doing physical activities. However, the system will only record the attributes given to the host.]

[However Host skills & abilities can be leveled up by practicing and mastering them. Skill & Ability Points are a way of skipping that progress. However, you will still gain the experience of that Ability or Skill you used a Point on as if you practiced it.]

"I see that's good. It would suck to see my progression stagnate because I wouldn't have any Points." Oliver said while wiping the invisible sweat off his forehead. Thinking that his progression as a Metahuman will have no bottlenecks like most of the community.

[Host should know the higher your Skill & ability Level and Attributes are the harder it will be to level them up physically and the system will not give out Skill & ability points like its candy. So the Host will still stagnate if he is talentless or not hardworking.]

A vein appeared on Oliver's forehead and he mentally cursed after that statement.

"Ahh, whatever the fact that I can upgrade my strength and stuff is already amazing. I'm not gonna slack off now and start complain, that would just be me being a spoiled brat,"

Oliver sighed after reflecting on his actions. The fact that the system already brought him back to life was already amazing, but it also transformed him into a Metahuman and gave him a sort of cheat. Oliver realized that he shouldn't be complaining.

"System can you show me my Mage Progression." He asked in a more polite tone.

"System why are you giving me all these skills, abilities, affinities, and things that can help me get strong, I know it's not for free. So what do you want from me," Oliver asked with suspicion.

Looking at his Mage Progression made him snap out of his state of euphoria and back to his natural state of using logic and having suspicion towards everything, but his family.

Ever since Oliver was six he had been researching the different types of Meta-Humans, Aliens, and their powers. Well, the ones that were open to the public.

What made him suspicious of the system though were his affinities. The first thing that everyone knows about Mana User Meta-humans is that they have a mana core. The second is that having a mana core was largely genetic. Sometimes even if one of your parents had a Mana core and the other didn't you could still be a normal human. The third thing which made his suspicion immense was his Affinities.

Oliver didn't know all the Elements, but he knew that there were 5 grades for each of them. Basic, Advanced, Special, Superior, and Pillars.

He knew that Pure Humans which were humans who had no Alien bloodlines in them had a 90% chance of having a basic element affinity and a 9% chance of having an Advanced affinity. The rest of that 1% was for the Special element and there have been 0 occurrences of a Pure human having a Superior element. Not to mention a Pillar element which was said to be impossible for a human to have.

As far as Oliver knew he was a Pure Human and his mother wasn't a mage. Even if he were to believe for a second that his dad might have been a mage or an Alien it would have made no sense that they would have to live in the slum. So he could only conclude that the system was helping him for some reason which wasn't off the mark, but he isn't ready for that now.

After a minute of silence, the System spoke.

[Host is correct about the system needing the Host for something, but the Host level is too low to gain access to that information. However, Host is mistaken about his powers.]

[Mostly all the powers the Host has were dormant or sealed. The system just awakened them.]

[As for everything relating to the Host's Affinity, System has not interfered with them at all.]

[This means everything the Host has come from the Host. So it is the Host who should be suspicious of the person who gave you that necklace around your neck.]

[I sense it is an artifact that sealed Hosts powers. However now it seems to be giving Host a boost.]

'Wait, if it isn't the system who gave me my abilities then maybe this is what mom talked about when she said I would awaken.' He thought remembering what his mother always told him.

"Wait! This is the necklace the one my mother gave to me on my birthday. Shit mother!" He thought before his eyes widen and he looked at the sky which was now bright as the sun came up a long time ago.

"Shit I was so caught up in the system I forgot my sister and mom and the fucking bastards who killed me." He said while running towards his house as fast as he could.

"System how do I use my powers!! Also how long have I been dead or out whatever!!" Oliver exclaimed while adding all of his attribute points to speed.

[Host has been out for 5 hours.]

'Shit please be ok mom, little sis.

Everything in Oliver's felt his body become as light as a feather and everything in his vision slow down, but he didn't have time to observe his new ability as getting to his house was his only priority.

Oliver moved swiftly passing by some abandoned huts and beggars. Some barely saw the silhouette of a naked boy running for his life, but they minded their business and continued whatever they were doing.

Even if Oliver realized he was naked he wouldn't care. He had no shame in showing off Lil Ollie. He might be 12, but he knew he had a bigger package than most of the men in his ex-gang.

Kept moving and after 8 seconds of using enhanced speed, he was close to his house. When he almost reached his house he realized that he almost used half his ESP.

[Enhanced speed ended]

Oliver stopped using Enhanced speed once his ESP reached 11 so that he could use one of his attack skills at any time while running toward his building.

The area of his house looked more like a town than a city and the state of the apartments here wasn't as good as they were in the main part of the city, but they had everything a normal human could need.

He continued running towards a 2 stories tall apartment made of black-colored metal. Its conditions were better than buildings around it as the outside of the building was cleaner as there was no trash around.

Oliver stopped in front of the building surprising most of the people around the area as it was rare for a Meta-human to be in those parts of town. Even though he stopped using Enhanced Speed while running toward his house he was still way faster than a normal human.

The spectators left after seeing he made no trouble and only stared at the house in front of him they all left and went back to what they were doing.

Although it was exciting for most of the children to see a Meta-human their parents made sure to make them keep their distance. Being around some who could kill you faster than you can react and with their bare hands wasn't something that most people liked.

Oliver stood in front of his house and was mentally preparing himself to go in.

'I know you guys are still ok. So after I come in and we have dinner again, and mom you're going to have to spill all the secrets.' Oliver said internally trying to calm the conflict inside of him.
