When I was younger and visited churches. The people there always seems to preach about how "God always offers us a second chance in life". I didn't really believe it back then nor even cared about it.

But now I am utterly sure that this is the truth.

*Flash back*

Christian was a young man in his very late twenties. After resigning from the securities company, he did some investments and invested in Stock, futures, gold, crude oil. Although he was not too successful, his income was still not bad.

He had no wife and the only thing that kept him planted in life was the promise he made on his parent's death bed. That promise was to take care of his younger sister.

He remembered that it was the spring of 2015, it was sudden and unexpected, but it sent turmoils to his once stable life and finally drag him down to a spiraling unfortunate incidents.

To try and cure his younger sister of cancer, he desperately needed to make some money. He used all his savings, mortgaged his house and car, and borrowed a considerable sum of money to invest in the stock market. According to his analysis, it was a bull market, and even fools can make money.

In the beginning, the market was excellent. He's investment doubled in a short period of time. But he wanted more profits. So, he boldly uses high leverage with an investment company. If his investments increased again, he would be able to do nothing for the rest of his life and still be able to live comfortably.

But like the legend of Icarus, he flew to close to the sun, melted his wings, fell to the depths of the abyss and drowned.

The market soon dived, and because he used high leverage and had no additional funding, he suffered a significant loss. After paying the borrowed money, he was as poor as a church mouse. Christian did not know how to face his sister when he tells her that he is now homeless and in debt.

He was bankrupted. On that very day, he drank a lot and "accidentally" fell on to the road, in front of many people and was hit by a big truck.

This way, it should not be considered as suicide. The accident insurance policy he bought would pay out millions. It should be enough to redeem the house and car and also leave a sum of money for his sister.

He remembered when he looked at the big truck speeding towards him. He thought that if God could give him a chance to return. Then he would not want to die again, He would grasp enough power and wealth to protect his family and himself. Finally, he promises that he would make a harem fit for an emperor.

But he did not expect that God would actually give him a chance to come back again!

*Flashback ends*

[Congratulations!! You have died and been selected for a special program.]

What is this, A hologram?" I wave my hand through the words before it suddenly changes.

[You have been selected for a special program, the Soul Exchange Program. Your soul will be exchanged with another from a different world and from then on you will live there, forever.]

"This is absurd" I mumbled helplessly

"Correct! But I your ever benevolent God has heard your wish and granted you this chance. But you will be transported to a different dimension, ill even let you pick it" a deep resounding voice answered

"Why? Why was I chosen?" I quizzingly asked

"No reason, You were picked randomly for an experimental soul recycling program" The voice responded.

"Then can you send me back to the past?"

"No sorry, as this dimension doesn't have anyone with the same soul frequency as you, so the soul exchange isn't possible" The voice replied

Sighing sadly at the thought of leaving my little sister forever, I could only wish her luck and health in that world. As I will be taking the offer put up to me. "Sure send me to the DxD universe. I am a big fan of the anime and I even made up my own sacred gear and powers and everything."

"OK, but I have to say since you know the story and know what is going to happen won't change anything alter the timeline and then you will be flying blind?" warned the voice

Muling over the thing he said, I agreed completely. But in doing so I thought of something that was a cliche in situations like this "I understand, by the way, do I get cheats?"

"Yes, 3 In fact. But as this is an experimental program, I cannot grant you anything too powerful such as No Limits, Insta-comprehension or infinite mana and or health" The voice replied.

Understanding as such, I told him my desired cheats " Ok I got you, Can you give me: The gamer ability, Eternal youth that can be transferred to a person and finally a custom sacred gear"

"I cannot give you eternal youth as it is too powerful to fit in your experimental soul, but I could grant you a life expectancy of 10 billion years if you so choose. Also, the custom sacred gear cannot be too powerful, just imagine it and I shall judge its functionality" The voice proclaimed

Seeing as its quite fair, I agreed with his conditions and also recalled and imagine the sacred gear I designed during my high school days "Alright sure"

"The sacred gear is a little too powerful, but seeing as your exchange partner has also requested something a bit absurd. So I shall allow it, Enjoy your new life Christian Knighty or should I say Issei Hyoudou." A bright light then embraced me as the voice finished his speech.
