One bad explanation later

Not knowing how to explain the whole Gamer system thing to the professor, I just came up with a terrible lie that I know he didn't believe because I wouldn't have believed it myself.

Now, I'm alone in my room contemplating whether I should try the zombie dungeon or not. On one hand it'll be a faster way for me to level up but on the other hand it could be like the Marvel Zombies earth and I'm not sure I'm ready to take on the likes of some zombie mutants or something like a zombie Hulk.

Ugh, I think I'll just hold that off for a little while longer, I still have to figure out who or what sabotaged the Danger Room and deal with it. My best guess it was probably Mystique, who sabotaged the program since she's the only one I know of that could sneak into the mansion undetected.

I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard a commotion going on outside. I opened my door to see what looked like Nightcrawler, and I think Toad was fighting before the disappeared in Kurt's signature bamf!

Ok, now I think I know what's going on here or at least have a strong theory based on the first episode of X-Men Evolution.

"X-Men, it seems we have an intruder, Kurt's handling it, but they've appeared in the damaged Danger Room," Charles Xavier broadcasted in mine and everyone else's minds.

"But, shouldn't everything be alright, professor? I mean, Jean did destroy pretty much everything in there," Scott's voice announced.

"While that may be true, the Danger Room's A.I. could release the drones I had Hank built for Wolverine's exercises," the professor said.

"We'll get right on it, professor," I said as I got changed into my uniform.

I raced out or rather flew out of my room and downstairs to the Danger Room with Scott following behind me as he tried to follow and put on his boot at the same time.
