Chapter 10: The Deal

When both Josh and Sarah already inside the room, Josh took off his tie and cod at the near chair then walks towards the bathroom. Sarah feels caution on him because she doesn't know what will he do next. She heard the sound of the shower being turn on, Josh must have been taking a bath. So she relax for a bit since morning till now she feels her body been stiff. A few minutes later, Josh finish taking his shower. When he got out of the bathroom, he saw that Sarah is still in the position like when they arrived. He frows a little bit but doesn't talk to her at all, he was so damn tired and he doesn't have the time to talk right now. What he need is rest, he can discuss about the deal he have in mind for her in the morning.

Sarah who still observe Josh got confused when she saw him laying down at the bed. He doesn't do anything? she thought. She might don't know what marriage is but she knew that after marriage, she have to do that thing with him. But then again she felt like a fool. Idiot Sarah, do you really expect for that to happen? It's a good thing that it didn't. She scowl herself in her mind. She looks again at Josh who already asleep then got up and walks toward the bathroom. After she took a shower and got a pajamas from the closet.

She thanked her father in law for providing everything what Josh and her need. After put on her pajamas, she walk toward the bed, she kept thinking whether she should sleep beside him or not but shes afraid that Josh will scowl at her. So she decide to sleep at the sofa near the windows of the room, she took the extra blanket at the closet then lay herself at the sofa. Without waiting long, she fell asleep.

The sunlight hit the window thus make it a little brighter, the first one whom woke up is Josh. He looks beside him but found no one there. He got up suddenly then search Sarah, then he finally saw her sleeping at the sofa. Why didn't she just sleep in the bed? Did she think that i would do something to her? He goes to the sofa and look at Sarah is still sleeping. For the first time he saw her face clearly without any makeup on, she has a smooth skin, long eye lashes and a light pink lips. Over all she is beautiful without makeup on.

After looking at her for awhile, he finally goes to the bathroom to brush his teeth and wash his face. It only took him three minutes, finish he goes out and saw that Sarah already woke up and rubbing her eyes. He doesn't know what he feels but he finds her reaction is rather cute. Sarah saw him got out of the bathroom.

"Go and wash your face, I have something to talk about and don't make me wait to long. You know how I hate that."

Without saying anything, she just do what Josh told her.

She walk toward the bathroom and do what she supposed to do, like what Josh had said. She didn't want him to wait long. After she she finish, she goes out of the bathroom and directly walks towards a single sofa then seat on it. She thought that is must be important since Josh wanted to talk right now instead of waiting before they have breakfast first.

Soon after she seat, just a few second of silence then Josh started the conversations.

"You know that our marriage is based on our own benefits right? Since you and I don't have any feelings towards each other. It is best to just mind our own business."

"What are you trying to say?"

"I'm saying that we should live the same way before we get marry. Honestly, I  don't like you at all. There is so many beautiful woman out there and your the one I have to marry."

Sarah felt annoyed when Josh is looking down on her looks. She feels confident about how she looks although she knows that there are many other woman prettier, beautiful than her. But every woman have their own charm, why this guy trying to make me feel down and insult me all the time. She thought.

Then he continues talking

"After my dad give me the CEO position, I hope that by the end of this year. We'll get divorced."

"What?" Sarah shocked, he wanted divorced? Sarah could help thinking back at what Mr. Alexander have said. She had promise him that no matter what she will stay by Josh side. And she is isn't the kind of person to break the promise that she made to someone. After being shocked by what Josh have say, she suddenly looks serious and said

"No, we won't get divorce and never will be"

"What did you say? No?"

"Do you think that after being a CEO you can get a divorce? Then what happen after that? What will happen when your father finds out? Can you explain to him?"

"You don't have to worry about that, I'll explain to my dad."

"Ohh? but have you ever thought about what your dad gonna do if he finds out that we're getting a divorce? Wouldn't the position of CEO will be taken away from you. Beside your dad has the right to take it since its his company"

Josh felt like his going to explode, talking about the company and the CEO position is his limit. He knows that he deserve it because he is his father's son and beside that he works ten times harder than his father to make the company to be the number one top company in the entire country. He glare at Sarah

"Since when you have the right to say such thing? Aren't you just a beggar? You think that I don't know what deal that you and my dad made? Dont be such a hypocrite woman."

Sarah couldn't talk back at what Josh had throw at her. She really wanted to tell Josh the truth about why shes doing all of this but his dad told her not to say anything about the incident back then. So she just stays silence. Josh smirk he knew what type of girl she is. What else she get close to his father if it weren't for the money.

"Let me say this one more time and I hope you understand it well. We are getting a divorce and i add up something. Take it as a deal, if we both get a divorce, I can assure you that I will give you 1 million to get away as far as you can from not only me but also my dad. "

Sarah have never thought that Josh could be this cold. He would go so far as to give her money so that she could stay away from them.

Josh was waiting for her to say something, he thought that it is a good deal not only for him but for also for her.

"Whats the matter? Dont you think the deal that I made brings benefits for you? Isn't that what you wanted?
