I was lulled out of my sleep by someone. I opened my eyes slowly and noticed I was back in the forest. Yuka sat beside me with excitement in her eyes.

"You're finally awake." She sighed

"W-what happened," I inquired

"The System knocked us out to receive our rewards. Check your inventory to equip your rewards." She encouraged me.

"Ok ok. No need to rush" I shrugged her off.

I stood up and checked my inventory.

I equipped the armour,necklace and crown, while summoning the sword to my hand. The armour was purple and black, it was tight fitting and had enough flexibility and defense. The sword was an obsidian black with purple designs and the crown was black with a purple gem in the middle, while the necklace was a type of golden and purple chain. I left the egg in my inventory cause it seemed rare.

"Ok, you look amazing"Yuka praised

"It feels comfortable for an armour" I inspected myself

"You're one of the only players with rare armour at the moment so I'd advice you to step up your game if you want to become a top player." She admonished me

"What about your rewards what did you get?" I questioned.

"I also got armour,necklace,ring and an ancient art"She informed me.

"What is the name of your ancient art?" I wondered.

"It's call Shizukesa Art. I think it's the name of The Whispering Warrior" She told me.

"Quickl'y learn it so that you can start using it. We will work together and conquer this game" I exclaimed excitedly.

She nodded in agreement and brought out a book. The same thing that happened to me when I consumed the art happened to her.

"Well that was freaky. I got a quest to find out what happened to the Whispering Warrior."She breathed out.

"My quest is to learn who created kyuriko art. Maybe we can help each other" I proposed.

"Maybe…" She considered

"Anyways equip your items, I want to see how they look" I encouraged.

Her armour was identical to mine just replacing the purple with a dark blue colour. It was also a bit more revealing.

"Hey, Hyuno. How about we get masks and play this game as masked players or something." Yuka suggested.

"I don't know" I hesitated.

"Please…." She begged using her puppy dog eyes against me.

"Fine. Let's head to town to buy it." I relented.

"Yes!" She exclaimed dragging me to town.

We looked around for any shops that could sell us masks and when we came out with no results we inquired from one of the residents. They pointed us out to a dilapidated shop. It looked broken and run down?

"Ick…Let's quickly buy and get out of here." She shivered.

We went inside and were surprised by how good the masks were. They had good designs and the materials were top quality.

"Note to self never judge a book by its cover" Yuka muttered to herself.

I laughed and began looking around until a particular mask caught my attention. It was a black mask with purple intricate patterns. It was the same colour as my whole get up and would fit perfectly. I grabbed it and went to meet Yuka. She had also took a mask similar to mine only replacing the purple with blue. We went to the front desk and payed, well Yuka spayed for both of us since I still had no money. We did not stay inside for long and left the shop putting on our masks.

"Yuka… I have a quick question, how do you get money in this game?" I questioned,

"God you're clueless. You either sell items and materials or you do jobs for quick cash." She disclosed to me.

"Can I quickly go and sell all the excess materials I have one me?" I asked.

"Let's go" She agreed pulling me to a merchant shop.

We sold everything I had on me from my previous hunts in the forest, earning me 5 gold coins, 100 silver coins and 50 copper. Yuka got 3 gold coins, 85 silver coins and 30 copper.

"Let's log out now ok?" Yuka said after we settled into an inn.

"Ok" I agreed logging out.

I slowly stepped out of the pod noticing the dark sky through my window. I went to the kitchen and made myself some dinner before preparing myself for bed. I laid in bed in deep thought of what I would do with my life from now on before sleep embraced me in its warm arms
