Hmm… Earth Dragons huh?
The Earth Dragons are Dragons created by Volcanica. Much like horses on earth, these wingless, land-based dragons are often domesticated to be used in menial labor such as transport or in warfare.
They have varied body types and colors to suit different terrains, environmental conditions, and jobs which makes them excellent to work with. All earth dragons are born with Wind Evasion, a species-based Divine Protection.
Specific species types known include the Flanna species, the most numerous versatile species, the Eliq species or the Aires species, an earth dragon species living in cold environments, the Agaress species or the Gyrus species, an earth dragon species living in desert environments, and the Diana species, a prideful and relatively rare species. The Diana species is the original species from which all other earth dragons descend.
But I then noticed where the mounts were lined up and started walking over with Beatrice by my side. Stopping in front of them, I scan them with a gaze. My gaze then landed on a certain Earth-Dragon.
This Earth-Dragon is a black earth dragon of the Diana species. Walking over to her, I don't immediately look into her eyes. I instead admire the dark scales running along her body.
She is about the size of a horse and is standing on two legs. Her legs are long and slim. But I know that they carry serious speed. I then raised my eyes and met with hers.
And when they met, I also felt her gaze trying to peer into me as well. Her orange eyes carried a strong hint of childlike curiosity and intelligence. Sticking my hand out slowly, I stop it in front of her nose.
I am openly expressing that I wish to trust her and wish for her to trust me. Looking into my eyes, she saw the intention I was planning on expressing before sniffing my hand. She then looked up at me again before leaning her head down.
Seeing this, I smile before petting her scaly head feeling my hand on her head, she almost gave out a cat-like purr of pleasure responding, "It's a pleasure to meet you, girl."
That was when Ferris voiced out of the mount stables in a curious tone, "Nyah? It seems like she took a liking to you."
Seeing what I got I only glanced at Felix before turning back to the purring dragon replying to the cat trap boy, "I'm just lucky, she fortunately read my intentions properly and merely decided to accept them."
Getting a good feel for the Earth Dragon I decided to give her name proudly as she purrs happily, "I'm going to call you Patrasche a strong and trustworthy name for a proud Earth Dragon like yourself. Do you like the name?"
In response to her new name, I could hear her roar happily in contentment. Hearing her, I smiled a bit as I looked over at the guy taking this Earth-Dragon, "Seeing she's this happy I'll gladly take her."
Rem spoke up surprised by my choice with a bead of sweat falling down her face as she said in a surprised tone, "I'm surprised this species is known for being prideful and unfriendly."
I had people staring as I grabbed hold of the leash on Patrasche getting her to move and speaking out loud, "Let's see how this girl feels while on the ground. I hope you don't mind if I can get a quick practice run?"
Felix laughed it off as he replied nodding his head and watching over me to not get into too much pain, "Hahaha… Got it! Nevertheless, don't say stuff like I've fallen in love or else Rem-Chan will start sulking. You can call me Ferri-chan if you like nyah~"
Giving me a teasing look I shrugged off getting on Patrasche I stopped him in his tracks with my comment, "Sorry Ferri-chan but I don't swing that way. I'm into chicks than traps with dicks under your skirt. But I'm sure someone will love you for the way you are in marriage."
Felix looked stunned at how I didn't fall for his little trick as Rem replied raising both her fist close to her chest and turning her gaze at Patrasche, "I'm not sulking! I can be friendly with it! I can!"
*Zzzzz*
I blinked a bit confused imagining sparks between an Oni and Earth Dragon fighting for my attention. Huh, it's not as weird as I thought.
I began to move Patrasche forward as she purred in agreement, "Come on girl. Let's see how fast you can go."
She purred in agreement as she showed off her stuff. Patrasche managed to move forward as I got a grasp of her movement speed. I have to say I'm very impressed but not only that she could go even faster with her Divine Protection.
As an earth dragon [Divine Protection of Wind Evasion] Patrasche has the Divine Protection of Wind Evasion, which enables her to be unaffected by the wind and not encounter any wind resistance while running. The effect also applies to any dragon carriage that she pulls. After activation, there is a cooldown before she can use it again.
But before I could fully enjoy the ride, I received a skill. One that could be useful in the following days ahead.

I smirked at this. Patrasche will be a worthy traveling companion to have in the future fantasy worlds without technology. That practice makes perfect as I raised an arm to Rem wanting to come along, "Say Rem can you help me how to stir Patrasche maybe both of you can get along?"
Rem smiled at the idea as Patrasche huffed at the idea. Ah… they're bonding. How sweet between demon and dragon.
Time to spend the next few minutes grinding the best way possible with my new skill. By riding a FUCKING DRAGON MOTHERFUCKER!!!

Entering inside the Krasten Estate after I had a good enough practice with my Earth Dragon I noticed many soldiers and mages around as it looked like things were – !

Avoiding something about to grab me I turned around to see a large Demi-Human speak in a cool tone, "Hey brother!"
Turning around I saw a large wolfin with two large tusks hanging from the sides of his mouth. He has green eyes, and a muscular build and is covered with short brown body fur with an oblong, dark-brown mane which he adorns as a Mohican with two small red braids coming from the sides of his mane.
He has tan-color fur on his chest, biceps, mouth, and palms, and he has a dark-brown beard. He wears long, black toeless pants, black arm guards, and white wrappings under his dark-colored clothes on his arms and waist along with an orange belt. He also wears a shoulder guard that has a logo representing the Hoshin Company.

[Ricardo Welkin Lv.? Iron Fang Leader]
Blinking a bit surprised turning around to see what amounts to a werewolf being so fucking chill as hell speaking up in a chill tone, "I've heard everything from the young miss! You're the central figure of our Whale hunt, right? I'm Ricardo, nice to meet you!"
Smiling I returned the same chill sentiment in a respectful tone scratching my head, "Same here Ricardo. I'm Mash Bastion. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Rem also greeted Ricardo as he soon excused us towards Anastasia with her little platoon of mercenaries and a trio of cute orange-haired demi-human cats.
Soon enough Crusch came towards us wearing her armor at the ready commenting on the Iron Fang, "They look stronger than the rumors suggest. And you Sir Bastion you plan on joining in this Whale hunt as well?"
I merely nodded reminding Crusch of our deal assisting her in killing the White Whale quickly, "Yeah. Must get some merits for my lady Emilia now don't I Crusch? And besides I can only hope you can keep your end of the deal."
Crusch curtly nodded turning around and getting ready as the doors opened to reveal other soldier Knights speaking out loud, "Looks like they've arrived."
Soon one of the soldiers smiled going up to me placing a hand over my shoulder and thanking me in a kind tone while doing a light bow as a show of respect, "Thank you, boy our earnest desire will bear fruit because of you. There's nothing that makes me happier. Thank you."
I returned the gesture to wish them luck for when the battle does happen. All I can say is I hope our planning was everything needed to pull this off.
Soon enough Crush stood at the middle of her estate with everyone lined up listening to her speech getting ready for battle in a determined tone, "It's been 400 years. 400 years since the White Whale, created by the Witch of Envy, began using the world as its hunting ground to rampantly trample upon the weak. Countless number of lives have been lost because of it. Due to the wicked properties of its Mist, some have been unable to leave their names behind on their graves… However, those days of idleness will end starting today! We here will end it! Let us kill the White Whale and end the sorrow! Let us give those who couldn't be sorrowful a chance to cry! LET US ADVANCE! THE LOCATION IS FLUGEL'S TREE BY LIFAUS HIGHWAY!"
*Shinng*
Unsheathing her sword Crush yelled out into the air her challenge to the White Whale as everyone did the same following her lead, "WE'LL KILL THE WHITE WHALE TONIGHT!"
The time has finally come huh?
The anticipation of the battle against the White Whale and Sloth is at hand. And after that is Sanctuary to deal with getting Roswaal as a slave never harming us.
Everything has been going well but now comes the hard part. Pulling this off. Saying we can do this is easy pulling it off is the hard part about all of this. Even managing to grind for the past few days boosting my stats even…

Even with a small decent raise in my stats I still held onto my 45 bonus stats in cases of emergency. And the only reason I even managed to increase my LUCK stats was because I tried my LUCK in gambling.
Surprisingly enough gambling or games that require real-life risk or something on the line count for raising my LUCK stats huh? Go figure.
But in all seriousness, if it comes down to facing an overwhelming, I'll put my bonus stats into STR, or I could place it all in LUCK giving me a more favorable outcome.
For now, I must focus on the goal at hand and win. Hopefully, the White Whale could give me a boost in leveling up. Hopefully…
