Chapter 132: This is Our Fate…

~Enkidu POV~

[Fuyuki City, Ryuudou Temple]

*Chirp*

This has been a very relaxing summon to the Holy Grail War. Never in say I don't know centuries or millions of years; I would be here to answer my Master's call summoning to the Fifth Holy Grail War.

And in an age where the Age of Gods has ended. It has only been a day and I'm already liking the beauty of this world. The nature I mean.

Master is certainly kind enough to provide me with a small area to reside. I feel better in the forest allowing myself to become one with nature feeling the mother earth providing me Mana in this place.

Sitting down in a meditative stance I saw the wildlife flicker lively around. In all honestly, it's amusing to me giving me a sense of ease.

Flowers were scattered around me in a circle leaning my back to a tree where I sat on the branches enjoying the serene wind flowing from through my form.

Yeah… I can get used to this. But despite this Master seems to have gained quite a deal from me and my Skills. It's quite impressive for a mere mortal.

I opened one of my eyes to see him testing out my skills I allowed him to see through my memory using his Authority of Gluttony, [Gluttony]. But he didn't get all of them just two of my skills.

[Perfect Form] and [Age of Babylon]. He uses it perfectly as I do must be why his confident in learning my skills from my memories.

But in return, though he showed me the first Holy Grail War where he fought my best friend Gilgamesh much to my surprise, he was the one who defeated him.

He's not gonna like that. Not. One. Bit.

He never has been the one to take a loss that well even calling it a retreat. And he only had his loss over me but to see how he accepted defeat at such a sudden turn of events is quite fascinating to be sure…

Closing my eyes I merely smiled contently being one with nature. My Master and the Witch have said there should be a good chance that I would meet my friend again in this Holy Grail War.

What a wonderful thing to hope for. I would be extremely surprised upon learning Gilgamesh has been summoned, and initially, I cannot even believe in such a turn of fate in our encounter.

After calmly opening my eyes, slowly standing up, and having a moment of silence, a feeling of confusion, frustration, and finally overwhelming joy rampages through my chest…

I believe it is destiny that we will battle once again in the Holy Grail War and I'm confident that the tapestry woven between me, and my friend would not tear just because of a fight or two….

Even after a thousand miles together, our bond would remain just as strong as ever…

*Bdmp*

Feeling my chest placing my hand over it I smiled contently distance away briefly smiling eyeing the distance apart in a calm tone, "I see… even distance apart I can feel his Mana. Guess Gil is in this Holy Grail War."

Gilgamesh… I can't wait to meet you again. I can't wait – that was when Mash spoke testing out his abilities in a neutral tone, "You know you don't have to wait for me. You're allowed to meet your friend and tell His Majesty I'm back and ready to settle the score. Tell him I brought you here as a gift for his appearance in his backyard. After that… have fun to the fullest."

I merely nodded as I began to levitate as I thanked my generous Master, "Very well Master, and thanks."

Using my magical energy from the earth I rushed past the forest greeting him. Perhaps this destiny of our meeting…

*SWOOOSH*

This is our fate isn't Gilgamesh?

~Gilgamesh POV~

[Clock Tower]

Unbelievable…

My eyes widened in disbelief feeling HIS Magical Energy making me elated. For the first time in a long while I grinned widely feeling an old friend's power as I spoke to my Master in an indifferent tone surprising her, "Lorelei I'll return shortly… I have an old friend to greet. Your rules mean nothing to me for our reunion as you exist in MY world. Your RULES mean nothing to this world's rightful ruler."

Not giving my Master a chance, I left. No one would stop our inevitable encounter.

Old friend, you appeared in this Holy Grail War as well?

I don't believe it to be a chance. It must be the work of the outsider, but I didn't care. I was simply so happy to care. But regardless not even Heaven and Earth will stop our destiny meeting each other again.

Not again…

*SWOOOH*

This is our fate isn't Enkidu.

~Third POV~

[Fuyuki City, Mountains]

In a forest near the mountains away from Fuyuki City, Gilgamesh and Enkidu were standing there as their Mana was flying in the air. Two old friends and epics are meeting face to face ignoring the rules of the Holy Grail War.

To them, it was merely a playground this miffed Lorelei, but Mash was content knowing their history allowed his Servant to greet his friend understanding the values of friendship between them something Enkidu appreciated with his Master.

Faster before ignoring distance, the sun was rising in the sky bringing some light to the beautiful mountain forest, but it wasn't the only thing rising. The mana in the surroundings was also increasing as it filled the vicinity of Fuyuki city so that Magus and masters could feel their power.

Despite that, the mana wasn't as strong as the two finally met but it was enough to give Magi a heart attack because this level is something from the Age of Gods and the oldest epic of humanity.

*RMBL*

*RMBL*

The magi nearby felt the mana as they almost shuddered feeling to them a monster at the distance with the very earth creating minor earthquakes with just the two releasing their Magical Energy.

Gilgamesh and Enkidu were standing in an empty spot in the forest as both didn't say a word until now…

*RMBL*

Suddenly, both smiled which brought chills to any Magi who were watching the show as the mana increased even further….

*Swf*

*BOOOOM*

*Swf*

With an explosion of magical energy, Gilgamesh and Enkidu moved at the same time. Thousands of spatial circles appeared behind Gilgamesh using [Gate of Babylon] and an equal number appeared from the ground beneath Enkidu using [Age of Babylon]. Both use their skills.

The two friends didn't hesitate for a moment before they launched their attack with full power. Both grinned even wider as they clashed. The World's Oldest Hero. And the Earth's Greatest Sidekick.

*BOOOOOM*

Thousands of Noble Phantasms were colliding on the ground and air, each explosion made the air vibrate and the mana flicker, however, this didn't end as more and more weapons appeared and everything was razed to the ground around them.

From looking at a distance their attacks seemed like fireworks during the day and explosions filling the mountain range, but before they calmed a little, the mana increased again as a red light and thunder filled the sky suddenly.

*Bzzzz*

Gilgamesh raised his hand as a golden key appeared before an enormous number of magical circuits appeared on his hand. All circuits started gathering again before they became something like a drill, but in fact, that's a sword. A sword that existed before the concept of the sword was made. It's the Sword of Rupture, EA. An anti-world Noble Phantasm.

Raising EA to the sky Gilgamesh used all he could from EA's power as the sword started to spin at an alarming rate and a red storm was destroying everything as he screamed, "ROAR WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT, EA!!!!"

*BZZZZ*

It didn't matter where he aimed as took his shot at the world itself. But in return, Enkidu opened his arms to the sky as thunder rushed from the ground and gathered around him. The Earth cried out as mana was rushing from everywhere towards Enkidu due to his [Perfect Form] an equal power to Gilgamesh EA appeared on him and drew some power from the [Counter Force].

Veins and trees started to grow around Enkidu as he started to lose his human form smiling as he thought in a happy tone smiling, 'I'm happy Gil, even if it's only for this moment… I'll go all out old friend.'

Enkidu loses his form as he soon speaks words losing all of his human form and turning into a huge tree with chains rushing towards Gilgamesh in the sky, "I'm a weapon. Use me as you will… O humans, let us restrain the gods above, ENUMA ELISH!!!"

Gilgamesh grinned at this scene before he pointed EA at the chains and said proudly, "THE STAR OF CREATION THAT SPLIT HEAVEN AND EARTH, ENUMA ELISH!!!"

A huge storm that ripped the sky apart rushed to the ground as everything was getting destroyed by it. The world was screaming, but only a tree stood against that disaster as it blasted right through it without any hindrance.

The stars of creation collided with the [Chains of Heaven] as the damage to the surroundings suddenly started to disappear. EA's power which was supposed to destroy the world, started to melt down against the chain of heaven and become restrained, but the chains were also collapsing slightly…

*BOOOOM*

A huge sound, but no explosion happened as the two Noble Phantasm canceled each other. The light filled the sky before it became fragments and fell to the ground. A huge hole in the ground that almost destroyed the mountains was the only thing left from this clash between legends.

The powers between the World's Oldest Hero and Earth's Greatest Sidekick bore their power bare for all to see. Gilgamesh was flying in the sky and looking at Enkidu, who returned to his human form with a smile on his face.

Gilgamesh looked at Enkidu as EA was still rotating in a casual tone greeting an old friend with a genuine smile as he sighed, "I'm relieved, I was surprised by this nostalgic figure, but it seems you're not as young inside. But for you to focus on stopping the damage, you're as selfish as always. This makes me think protecting the forest is more important than having a battle with me. Sigh, that's just like you."

Gilgamesh could shake at his friend's selfishness as EA started to rotate faster eyeing Enikdu with a grin and saying in a happy tone, "Though this is an empty land filled with only mongrels, at least you're able to distinguish between lives now."

Enkidu heard Gilgamesh's words, but he only shook his head before he said in a neutral tone extending his arms, "I'm not qualified to say that. I'm just a weapon that follows his master's orders."

Gilgamesh looked at his old friend's face as he said those words casually making his shake his head and say in a neutral tone, "Still saying those things, even after dying… you haven't changed at all."

Enkidu sighed at his friends' words as he spoke scolding the tyrant king in front of him in a casual tone with a knowing smile, "And you after all those years, still reborn as a tyrant. But I have to say… did you lose and get humbled, Your Majesty?"

Gilgamesh's EA rotated faster as he laughed even more as Enkidu was still smiling because he was happy to meet his old friend, "Even in the middle of our reunion, you would still want to tell how a king should do his business? You never change. FUHAHAHAH!!!!"

Enkidu allowed Gilgamesh to laugh as he began charging EA he replied having an understanding which Master summoned his friend in a proud tone, "So that outsider summoned you Enkidu. That explains why we get to meet each other here and now. As someone who made me retreat in the previous Holy Grail War, I expected nothing less but victory."

Enkidu laughed agreeing if Mash didn't win, he would've surely disappointed Gilgamesh as he spoke earning his attention, "Of course Gil. He also said his back to settle the score if you were ever summoned again. Even going as far as to summon to greet your reappearance in your domain."

Gilgamesh eyes glinted a bit of surprise but soon subsided with a knowing grin with EA ready to fire as he spoke in an impatient tone, "Is that so? As much as I would like to hear of this, I prefer we returned to OUR battle, no?"

*Clank*

Extending his arms open Enkidu agreed with a happy tone as the [Chains of Heaven] came from behind his body in a grateful tone, "I agree. My Master did say to have fun… I believe this counts as having fun right Gil?"

Gilgamesh grinned at Enkidu's readies his [Chains of Heaven] as the [King of Heroes] roared out loud, "Yes… let's have lots of fun Enkidu!!! Let our battle roar and sake the very Earth and Heavens!!! FUWAHAHAH!!!"

*SWOOOOSH*

*CLANG*

*BOOOOM*

Both Heroic Spirits clashed having themselves the grand time igniting the start of the Holy Grail War ignoring the rules placed by mortal Magus… but to them the ruler of the world and his friend?

They should be glad to exist in THEIR world. Their battle would soon rage on along with the inevitability of vaporized wildlife, forest, and nearby mountains caught in the destruction between two mighty Heroic Spirits.
