Chapter 11.

"In the 30th century, human kind should have been prospering. However, the sudden emergance of "Aliens" drove the human race to the brink of extinction. Desperate, the human race migrated to another planet, while "Aliens" ran rampant on earth.

Despite being invaded countless times by these "Aliens", the human race still managed to survive, that is due to the emergance of Mages!" The old professor exclaimed in front of a group of extremely bored students.

"Tch, why do we have to study this bullshit, I'd rather go to practical class and learn to beat up some aliens." A ginger haired student cried out.

The old professor pretended not to hear.

"We are currently living in planet Xers, the planet which is 20 light years away from earth. Due to the improving technology, humans have already crafted light speed spacecrafts on the 26th century. These spacecrafts were used to transport the human population to Planet Xers to escape extinction. Spacecrafts can also be used for other things such as space exploration or to battle against the aliens." The professor continued non chalantly.

"Professor, where did the Aliens come from?" A student asked.

"Even after studying for several centuries, we still have no idea. The records left behind by the ancestors were unclear and fragmented. All historians know is that, one day they suddenly appeared on earth out of nowhere." The professor answered.

"Are aliens strong?" Another student asked. When speaking about Aliens, all the students aroused from their drowsy state. After all, the reason they came to Star academy is to join the battlefield and help the human race retaliate agaisnt the aliens. Aliens were the common enemy of all the humans.

"You are only 1st years, don't worry about that. You won't be sent to the battlefield. Star academy is located deep in the capital, the aliens would not dare to invade here. Rather than that, you should worry about Savage beast."

"Savage beast?" A student asked in confusion. They were here to fight aliens, where did savage beast come from?

"Indeed. Savage beast are the natural inhabitants of Planet Xers. They are devoid of intelligence and will attack any human they see. As first years, you will be sent to forests to hunt savage beast and collect their cores, which are abundant in mana. That's enough for today, you are dismissed." The old professor left the class.

"Jamie, what do you think about the history class?" A student with auburn hair asked.

"Useless, there is absolutely no use. How would knowing the history of our race help us kill aliens, I'd rather meditate and increase my mana." Jamie replied.

The students in the class all heard the conversation and they silently nodded to themselves.

"I can't wait for the practical class!" The auburn haired student exclaimed.

Jamie nodded, seemingly agreeing with his statements.

A figure stared outside the window, not moving an inch throughout the entire lecture. If one did not intently find her, her presence would not have been noticed.

"Lia, hurry up!" Nana shouted as she saw her friend approach the cafeteria. "How was your first lesson?" Nana asked while shoving her food onto her mouth.

"Good." Emilia replied

"What was it about?"

Emilia gave a blank look in reply. Her expression plainly stating "I don't know"

"You should listen carefully to the lecture next time. It will be beneficial to you.

"Ok." Emilia replied blandly.

Seeing her expression, Nana slapped her forehead. "You are not sincere at all!" Nana exclaimed in her head but knew better than to argue with this air head.

"What class do you have next?" Nana asked.

"Basic magic."

"Good. That's extremely important, you should listen." Nana reminded.

Emilia nodded.

"I still remember the first time I attended basic magic class. I could not even materialized a single mana ball....." Nana continued reminiscing about her past.

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep. ========== Discord Server: https://discord.gg/VjFQtDUaTR

Disclaimer: I'd received a few complaints from some readers that my MC is not a real villain, and I have to agree; if you're looking for some complete psycho MC who burns random farmer villages down just for fun then don't read. The MC is a ruthless man who does evil things from time to time, but only to his enemies or those he considers to be true scum. He gains no joy from tormenting strangers. Also don't read if you want a story about buying s*x slaves and r*ping them, that doesn't happen in this novel. He will treat the women he wants to be with as if they were normal people, whether they're slaves or not.
