6: THE LEVIATHAN III

"Levi, your job is just hit this dumb kid with your axe. Do whatever you want, I'll be watching."

"For your first day, as I've said, it would be stretching. You have to dodge Levi's attack. I am certain you can do that?" Elani was silenced, she was terrified by the monster and what she heard was getting on her nerves. She's going to evade the monster four times her size? That's preposterous!

"Now now, don't be so dramatic. Levi loves playing with kids." She said with the hint of sarcasm whether or not she's supposedly petrified the child or lessen her fear of monsters. But it's definitely the former.

"If you live, then we will go to the next training. Have fun, you dimwit." Malaya waved goodbye to the young and jumped to left her in the empty plains.

Elani had closed her eyes trying not to cry. She wanted to call her mother and father but she already knew that her parents are not there to help her. She's all by herself.

She opened her eyes and peeked. She saw that the Leviathan was drooling for her and ran to her like a hungry tiger. She again closed her eyes. The large footsteps of the monster are getting closer and closer every minute and stopped from walking.

She peeks as the curiosity is killing her. The monster is now standing in front of her-breathing heavily. His eyes are dark red and diluted. He was holding his axe up high, ready to kill the young.

"STOP!" She shouted still hugging the tree. She was shaking so hard that the tree shrugs its trunk and it let out a chortle. She heard someone had dropped the floor.

"What happened?" Malaya asked the monster. She was standing beside Levi and touched the monster's arm. Elani had opened her eyes to see what's happening. The monster dropped his axe and kneeled.

"I-I didn't do anything!" She said crying.

"Of course, you have nothing to do I said you're going to dodge his attacks." She said reprimanding the young.

"I'm sorry!"

"What's your problem, Levi? Just hit that damned girl—that's not hard to do, is it?" She pulled the monster up. The monster can't talk to Malaya's dismay.

She groaned. She has no choice but to move on to the next training. If her monster can't do anything with this, this has to be postponed. She covered her eyes with one of her hands and heaved a sigh. Stupid creatures. Why do they have soft hearts?! Damn this.

"Let's move out. Get off that stupid tree or I will tie you again." She warned Elani. This kid is getting on her nerves. If she will lose her patient, she will really break her bones.

Elani reluctantly stood up by herself and glanced at the monster. Take care of yourself, princess. Someone talked to her head, she was surprised but Malaya already pulled her and started to walk before she could notice who did that.
