7: THE DIVINE KNIGHTS

Raphael had continued his journey and walked his way to the far east to exit the forest. He was called by the Divine Knights to talk about what's happening in some places. This is their yearly routine: to know what is the latest news around Napolia.

But this time, the call has been made earlier so Raphael became anxious. Over the past decade, it is the first time that he heard an urgent call. And the last call was from Winterspring—the rebellion.

Raphael was running impatiently. He stopped walking. He kneeled on the land and stretched his arms to the ground and opened his palms to touch it. ESTE LOVUM. He murmured.

The ground started to form a white solid on its surface but Raphael had planned to just solidify his path and not all the grounds of the forest. He looked straight ahead and stood up. He dipped his toes on the white floor and slightly stepped on it—he was as if trying it for the first time. He slipped his right foot and glided it with the left. His hands were at his back as he was sliding his way to the exit.

Raphael had come back to his reveries—he was being perturbed by two problems. First is that her daughter's life is in the line—being with Malaya is such a danger he couldn't get away with. And the other one is that the imperative call of the knights though the latter was vital. He was now itching to get in Livonia City ever since they left their house.

The only port in the Winterspring Kingdom is located at the east part of the Vally Forest which is Sonar town. Vally is connected to five towns: the main town, Winterspring-where a large population of Nimphians lives. The closest town to this is Noliad. It is north of the Winterspring and all of non-nimphians living. At the northern part of the Vally comes Elist town. It is where almost all of the enchanters are living and the west part goes to Quirs'aegrie town.

The WinterSonata had reached the port of the forest and paid an entrance fee to the teller when his turn to pay. The teller ports have many customers today and the line had elongated but Raphael's a VIP so he doesn't need to get in the line.

"Livonia City, Raphael Helewys." He apathetically said to the woman who seems busy looking for something. She looked to the window and as if she didn't hear what the gentleman had said and looked bewildered. She looked away blushing and went back to searching for the drawers because she realized she was staring at him.

Raphael had paid the exact amount so that he will not make the person behind him wait that long. The woman was done with what she was doing and accepted the payment. She scanned something in the scanner and led the sire to his ship.

Five fancy ships are in their respective docks. Raphael walked to the plank and hopped to the ship while everyone was looking at him with uncertainty. Raphael, being cold-hearted, did not give a glance that he's interested in them but he's giving death glares to anyone who started to create rumors. He was giving his cold presence to everyone in the ship needless to say that they're all curious about his journey since it's rare for them to see a Divine Knight traveling on a mission.

The ship has three decks; 'ground' deck, second, and the executive's deck. These decks give definitions of the living status of the nimphians. The ground deck is reserved for non-nimphians. The second for nimphians and the executives for Divine Knights.

Royalties have their own ship-it is for their own safety and also for privacy. The ship is not like an old ship. It is tinted in white and its design is impeccable. It has a pool on the second floor and chairs surrounding the pool.

Raphael climbed to the third floor. He went to the south part of the ship—which is the only way to climb on the third floor and searched for his private room. The floor of the hallway has a smooth brown mat. Its wall is plain white and has brown stripes on the middle as a design. The brown wooden doors have perfectly carved swirls and have a golden knob.

The tellers do not give cards or keys to unlock the door to your room—like what the woman did a while ago. Instead, you point your index finger in the scanner and it automatically opens the door.

Fingerprints are the most important nimphian validation. It has all the information of the certain nimphian including their living status or even children. But of course, Elani—being Raphael's adopted child is unrecorded.

Raphael had opened the door to his room. The queen-sized bed caught his attention. The bed has black four poles and a small transparent curtain. The mattress is covered with a plain white comforter and two pillows. At the end of the bed was a small red couch. There are two small tables on the sides. Raphael never asked to live a sumptuous life.

After graduating from the Academy, he served the duchess and that's that. Nothing really happened to Raphael that is interesting. He never asked for a lavish house to the duchess although they knew each other so much. He was contented with what he has or his family has.

At the right of the door of the entrance is the bathroom and at the left are the dark brown cabinets and a mirror in the middle of it. He instantly went to the balcony to see the waters—the sun will bid its farewell anytime soon and the scene was so elegant that Raphael had to admire it.

It has always given him peace when he's watching the flow of the water. The silence was giving him relief and that is all he wanted. He leaned on the bars and a flashback ran through his already muddled mind.
