44. It’s a Shameful Thing

Evan immediately put the lobster down as soon as his hands can felt the warmth. That sea creature gave off a brighter light even more. The two monsters who were fighting stopped their respective movements. Their attention was immediately fixed on that light.

"Holy shit!" The horned monster cursed. "Is that life-giving power!?"

The horned monster is about to jump over to where Evan is, but the spider monster blocks him. The spider lady then deals a combination of blows, which her enemy can avoid. However, lastly, she could give a hard dropkick to the horned monster's chest. The horned monster was pushed until his body hit the entrance to one floor of the building. That door collapsed hard with him. After that, the spider monster entered through the door, attacking her enemy again.

The white light from the lobster began to dim. Evan lowered the arm he used to protect his eyes.

The being in front of him was not a figure with two pincers as a weapon, but a large, muscular man with pale skin, a bare chest, and a thick reddish mustache. He wore super-short black pants that resembled those of professional wrestlers. However, it wasn't all that strange compared to the lobster-shaped hat he was wearing. More precisely, he wears a hood with a lobster theme, complete with pincers, big eyes, orange color, and so on.

"Heaaaa!!!" The lobster man glared up while screaming loudly. He spread his hands wide with his palms clasped. "I am Loblob!!! Can I help you, Master!!??"

Evan was stunned. Indeed, there is a professional wrestler who had an entrance theme whose lyrics become a meme. The real lyrics are, "It's a shame that they lost their head." However, people hear it wrong, that part becomes, "It's a shameful thing, lobster head." That's where the joke comes from.

Yes, that was probably one of the pieces of information Evan knew. The meme is also somewhat popular on the internet, but it is only with professional wrestling audiences. Evan didn't understand. Why should that absurd information be the one that constituted the being before him?

Wiping his face, he said softly, "Lower your voice, our enemies might hear us. I have plans to fight those monsters, but it must be done quietly."

The lobster man inclined his head slightly to his master. He asked again but in a much calmer tone. "Then what shall I do, Master?"

Seeing that lobster man's enthusiastic face and twitching legs, Evan doubted that his new partner could carry out the plan he had in mind. However, Evan had no other choice. "Listen to me carefully."

After exchanging attacks for the umpteenth time, Lexi and Pieter jumped back in opposite directions. The two of them landed on the floor. They keeping their distance from each other in that hallway.

"Shall we just end this fight?" The horned monster gave a big yawn. "We've been fighting for a long time. At first, it was fun. But it got boring now."

The spider woman did not give an answer.

Pieter shrugged. "Look, in the end, you will lose. Your movements are not as sharp as before. However, from my observation, I still need a long time to beat you. Meanwhile, Lexi remains where she is, observing Pieter's nakedness. She had clearly known Loblob's arrival earlier.

Loblob kicked Pieter's butt until the horned monster fell down. Lexi didn't waste a chance. The spider woman jumped and crawled across the ceiling, then fired her spiderwebs into Pieter's two hands. Lexi focuses her web on the part that is not the sword of his enemy's hand so that Pieter will have trouble breaking away.

The lobster man immediately got up. Then, while shouting again, he jumped up and landed his knees on the enemy's back. Pieter still could not do anything but scream.

Evan, who had been hiding behind the exit to the stairs, walked over to that absurd event. He had seen the spider woman crawling away, but he chose to just let it be. Better to focus on the monster that has been obtained. There is a possibility that if Loblob chases that spider monster, the horned monster can escape.
