Extra 13: We are Pirates ~! (22)

Two hours later, Elein was being imprisoned in the middle of the combat arena.

All the inhabitants of [Amazon Lily] had heard about her sister's betrayal, and they were furious.

They could not believe how Elein had done something as heinous as selling her sisters for the warmth of a man.

"I don't need to explain why we are all meeting here" - said Hancock as she walked beside Elein and looked at her with disgust - "I'm sure this news spread all over [Amazon Lily], one of our sisters, has betrayed us"

The woman started shouting insults at Elein in fury, even her closest people didn't know what to do or say. They were disgusted to be related to that woman, but at the same time, they were sad that everything ended this way.

Elein said nothing to defend herself, she only bowed her head because she knew that there was no mercy for traitors, much less for her who had caused the death and imprisonment of her sisters.

"Your fate is in their hands" - Hancock said as he stepped out of the combat arena, only to meet Kurama at the entrance.

"Are you ready?" - Kurama asked as he raised an eyebrow.

"I am, it's time to see the bastard responsible for making my sister betray us" - said Hancock neutrally as she glanced in the direction where the navy ships were - "Let's see if that man was worthy of such acts."

"Ok" - nodded Kurama calmly as the two disappeared from the place.

10 minutes later, the duo had returned to [Amazon Lily] with cold looks on their faces.

When they arrived at the ship, the first thing they heard was how the captain was laughing as he explained how he had fooled a silly woman from [Amazon Lily] with only nice words and small shows of affection.

Hancock was furious, but still decided to calm down a bit before causing real massive damage, but the straw that broke the camel's back, was hearing how the captain was thinking of using this strategy to deal with them.

For Hancock, who had finally found the meaning of love, this was something she couldn't allow, more so when they were playing with her sisters' feelings, so without a second thought, she started to use her [Akuma no Mi] ability to petrify all these bastards and throw them into the sea, with the only exception being the captain, after all, she had a very different destiny for him.

"Come on, let's give Elein one last gift before she departs" - Hancock said as she walked with the statue of a man over her shoulder.

"I'm going to stay away, for now, the current situation doesn't allow me to be near you" - sighed Kurama as he shook his head.

He knew that the women of [Amazon Lily] trusted him, but after this, it was obvious that there would be women who would be much more defensive in his presence.

Kurama was sure that the women on the island, would no longer be so kind to him despite all he had done for them.

"Give them a little time to calm down," Hancock replied as she sighed regretfully, "I'm sure they'll understand that they don't have to lump all men together, after all, I learned that, and I'm much more stubborn than they are"

"I know, I still remember our first meeting" - Kurama replied with a smile.

Hancock paused as she felt her face grow warm, only to continue walking towards the arena.

Kurama shook his head when he saw this, although he had to admit that these contrasts in Hancock's arrogant personality, made her that much more beautiful.

Two days later, Kurama was sitting on the shore of the beach looking at the crystal clear waters of the sea.

Hancock had all this time been busy with [Amazon Lily]'s security check to prevent any other unwary women.

In the process, she found two more women, but unlike Elein, they had not given up secret information, so the empresses of [Amazon Lily] decided to send them to their lovers.

Elein was dispatched along with the navy captain, who was screaming like a pig when she saw that he was about to die.

The poor woman ended up devastated after hearing the truth from the mouth of her 'beloved', only to start crying.

The women of [Amazon Lily] felt sorry for Elein when they saw this, but at the same time, this didn't change anything.

Elein was practically begging to be killed now that she knew all her efforts had been in vain, and as a person who had gone through the disease of [love], Hancock gave her the comfort of death.

As for the Captain, Hancock showed him no mercy.

She ordered a group of women to torture him for 3 days before burying him alive next to Elein, a good fate for "lovers".

"I knew you would be here" - Alvida said as she saw how Kurama was watching the sea in silence - "I came to tell you that things have calmed down a bit"

"I feel it's better if I leave for a few days" - Kurama said as he shook his head.

"That will only hurt Hancock" - Alvida replied while frowning.

"I know, but at the same time I can feel a change inside her" - said Kurama as he looked at the black-haired woman - "It's like she's unconsciously moving away from me."

Alvida was silent when she heard these words because she had seen it too.

She could feel how the love between the two of them had not changed, but the [Pirate Empress] seemed to be unconsciously resisting showing it.

"You should talk to her" - Alvida said as she shook her head.

"I know, but I don't think she wishes to do so" - Kurama replied as he looked up at the blue sky - "Or at least that's what I feel."

Alvida again shook her head - "You two are being jerks."

"I know" - smiled Kurama as he looked in the direction towards the nearby forest because he had felt Hancock's presence - "But there are times when the couple should take some time to think, after all, we can't be together all the time"

"Well, you're right about that" - Alvida murmured as she started to think.

She loved being together with Hancock and Kurama, but there were times when she liked to be alone and enjoy the calmness of the sea while taking a sunbath.

"Although it's strange, you two are inseparable" - Alvida said while returning to the main point - "The only time I didn't see you two together, was during our missions or in fights."

Kurama didn't say anything else, he kept looking in the direction where Hancock was, as if he was waiting for her to say something, but no matter how much time passed, she didn't seem to want to show herself.

"Please tell Hancock that I'm going out for a few days, and not to worry, that I'll be calling her frequently" - Kurama said while giving a last smile to Alvida before disappearing from the place.

Hancock quickly came out of her hiding place when she saw the white flash, only to sigh regretfully when she saw that the silhouette of her beloved was nowhere to be seen.

"You're an idiot, Hancock" - Alvida said as she frowned - "You have the best man in the world, but because of the actions of a jerk, you drive him away"

"I know, but I'm afraid" - muttered Hancock, who for the first time in their whole trip, was showing her weakness to Alvida - "I'm afraid that things will end up the same way as with Elein"

"That's why I say you're an idiot" - Alvida growled while narrowing her eyes - "If Kurama wanted to hurt you, there would be no need to do all this melodrama, he would simply subdue you and wreak havoc on [Amazon Lily] to bend your will, but no, he not only was a gentleman with you and helped you protect your fucking island so you could travel the world calmly, but he also helped increase the living conditions of your people"

"Ugh, now you make me sound like a bitch for not trusting Kurama" - Hancock muttered as she sighed regretfully.

"That's because you are, bitch" - replied Alvida with disdain - "I may not have been Miss Purity when I started my relationship with Kurama, I may have met him much later than you, but at least I have confidence in him and I know how to channel my hatred. I'm going to hate whoever causes me harm, not every person in the world because of one motherfucker's mistake."

Hancock was silent before sighing regretfully.

She slowly walked towards the palace with a vacant expression.

"Let's see if with that she can think things through a little better" - Alvida muttered as she shook her head.

Unlike Hancock, who seemed to have been raised in a bubble, she had the experience of having interacted with many men despite her former appearance, some good, some bad, some sons of bitches, and some not so much.
