Back at it Again

{Material Realm...Alden's POV.}

{Great Dystoark Forest; Dawn.}

I slowly opened my eyes and see the wooden ceiling, making my time with Argeizeth, Meltozo, and Venrax seem like a dream. I looked around and see Andre sitting in the corner with his eyes closed.

At first, I find out that half of my vision is completely black. I have lost one of my eyes. What's with me losing an eye?

As for Ashley, she is on the chair on my right side, sleeping on the chair upright with her arms crossed.

"Ashley?" I said, but my voice was weak, so weak that it was barely a whisper.

Ashley soon woke up and soon notices me awake.

"Hey, Andre! Andre! Alden's awake!" Ashley yelled.

"Huh?" Andre jolts awake and stood up. He looks to see me and hugs me.

"You lived. Thank goodness you lived...!" Andre said. Ashley joined and hugged me too.

"What...what happened?" I said.

"Do you not remember? Well, we don't blame you for that because you were barely conscious when we found you. Also, you were unconscious for most of the night." Ashley said.

"Barely conscious?" I said. Then the memories of last night came right into my head.

"Thomas...I was fighting Thomas back then." I said.

"Thomas? You mean Thomas Wrightown? You met him?" Andre said.

I remembered encountering Thomas as he sent me out of the forest and into the plains. After that, I used the Ultimate Skill and everything was blank.

"What happened last night?" I asked.

"Bro...when we found you, a good chunk of Velizar Plains was turned into a wasteland." Andre said, "and saw a pile of bodies scattered around; some of which were barely recognizable."

"Bodies? How many?" I asked.

"I don't know, some of the bodies were either reduced to ashes or in pieces. But I think it's over 50 people. Judging by their clothes, they're probably from a guild or Outworlders." Ashley said.

"There were other people besides Thomas?" I said.

"Yeah, and by mentioning Thomas, I know that weasel's face from anywhere." Andre said. "You killed all these people including Thomas."

It's a lot to take in. I was first taken by Thomas who has that superhero suit and I am told that there are more heroes nearby?

I will get to that later.

"Friis, what happened to Friis and the other chieftains?" I said.

"They're safe. But...I can't say for Yakumo." Ashley said.

By hearing her name, I sprang up. Yakumo is in danger and Onizakura is trying to make up for lost time. If she dies for real, then Onizakura will never be the same!

"Take me to her!" I exclaimed. "I can still..."

As I stood up, I stumbled to the ground face first. I looked back to see my left leg is missing and is now a stump.

"What happened to my leg?" I said.

I looked at my body and noticed these scars and the extra arms that are attached and yet I cannot feel them.

"What is this?" I said. "Why do I have four arms?"

"Listen carefully. We found you like this, you have no doubt evolved, but mutated as well." Andre said. "Ashley carried you to your base while I was holding off the heroes."

"There were more?" I gasped.

"Don't worry, man, I held them off for now. We'll handle the heroes if they come here. Right now, you gotta sit here and focus on recovering." Andre said.

The thing is, if they brought me here last night, it should've been a few hours. Is my regeneration that worn out?

"I will be back." Ashley said.

Ashley stood up and walked downstairs. For a few moments later, she returned.

"It's Friis." Ashley said. Friis walked beside Ashley and his eyes widened to see me.

"Is that you, young Kain?" Friis said.

"Yes, it's me." I nodded.

Friis rushed towards me and places his green hand on my face. Friis shows a pained expression as he looks at me.

"Such terrible wounds...this is the work of that caped man and the vampires." Friis said.

"Michael and Michelle Novodos. Children of Azara Novodos." Ashley added.

"The caped man and the vampires...are you saying that the twins are colluding with Thomas?" I said. "But these two hated the heroes and tyrants alike. Meaning, they got nothing to do with us."

"Not to the both of you, but they got something to do with me even before I become strong enough to wield a Sanguine Weapon." Andre said.

Friis on the other hand is trying to comprehend in our conversation and yet failed to do so, he wanted to speak, but he is unable to find any words relevant to it.

"I feel like for every answer, more questions follow after." Friis said.

"You and me both." I sighed. "And I owe you an apology. And everyone else."

"An apology?" Friis said.

Friis deserves to know what is happening throughout my time as a Tyrant and the time outside of Dystoark. I've been going around getting strong along with Ashley and Andre, subsequently increasing my Tyrant Level.

"I have a skill called, Resurrection. It allows me to revive whether if my body is in one piece, in pieces, or utterly destroyed." I explained. "That skill also allows me to revive as many times as long my soul isn't destroyed."

"What about that sudden storm appearing?" Friis said.

"That would be my mother, Za'taranga." Ashley said.

Friis was shocked to hear her answer.

"The Azure Storm Dragon, Za'taranga?! And you're her daughter?" Friis exclaimed.

Ashley nodded. Friis puts his hand on his forehead and heaves a sigh of exhaustion.

"This is overwhelming...how can I explain this to my people and the other chieftains?" Friis said.

"Not right now. As of now, we have another threat." I said. "Azaron, you said that Yakumo is in critical condition?"

"Yeah, both Onizakura and Yakumo took quite a beating. Zherk is fine, Xoto has seen worse, Aria lost one of her wings, Exor is covered in cuts and lost his right arm, and Azul lost an eye." Andre said.

[Soul damage completely recovered.]

[Physical damage detected, now regenerating...]

On that moment, the vision on my eye began to grow back. My arms began to stitch themselves and soon I began to feel my two extra arms being completely functional.

Lastly, my right leg that was missing began to grow back. I move my arms around and stood up to confirm that there are no complications.

"Such powerful regeneration...not even Exor or Xoto has this much regeneration." Friis said.

"Now, let's start healing the people." I said.
