The Impossible Family

The ninth book for my Doctor Who fan fiction with elements of RWBY, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, the MCU, Ace Attorney, Sherlock, and SAO in there. It will have me, the Doctor, obviously, the companion, whoever it might be. It will also have characters from RWBY, SAO, Symphogear, Madoka Magica, Sherlock, Ace Attorney, and the MCU in there, all of us interacting with each other. The traveling, the hijinks, the running and traveling continues, and this could be the end for our heroes in the story.

What You Want

(Open POV)

Exterior of Casper High…

Tucker is sitting on the front steps of the school, holding and writing on his PDA.

"Some people have a lot, and some people don't." Tucker said, as a voice over. "But everybody's got something. Me, I've got charm…" He smugly raises eyebrow and smiles. "…good looks, and modesty." Tucker looked down at his PDA screen with his entry. "My best friends, Danny and Jared?"

Amity Park…

Danny, Tucker, and Jared grabbing the same pack of four skateboard wheels from a box on a table. They are at a swap meet.

"They have something else." Tucker said, as a voice over.

The boys turn and glance at each other.

"Two for me? Two for you, Tucker? And two for you, Jared?" Danny asked.

"Sounds fair." Tucker said.

"It does." Jared said, happily.

The three of themreach into their pockets and pull out some cash, handing it to the table's owner.

"Danny, Jared, and me have known each other since, like, forever. And we share everything." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Pier…

Danny, Tucker, and Jared walk up to Madam Babazita's Mystical Oddities booth. Tucker picks up a genie bottle.

"A genie in a bottle? I don't think so." Tucker said, putting the bottle down. "Thanks, anyway."

The boys keep walking. A young mom and her toddler daughter, who has a balloon tied around her wrist, walk past them in the opposite direction. The daughter spots a lady at a snack stand giving someone cotton candy.

"Please, Mommy!" The toddler girl yelled, begging and pointing. "Please, Mommy, can I have some cotton candy, please, please, please, please?"

"I think you've had enough sugar today." The young mom said.

"I want it! I want it! I want it!" The toddler girl said, reaching out for cotton candy as her mother continues pulling her along as she walks.

The daughter's balloon string catches on the genie bottle Tucker was looking at before as they walk past, knocking it to the ground. It breaks, and a green mist rises up to form Desiree, a wish-granting ghost.

"And your heart's desire is my command." Desiree said, transforming into a green mist again and flies off.

Meanwhile, Danny's ghost sense and Jared's ghost sense goes off.

"Shit." Jared said, while he, Danny, and Tucker are walking.

Danny and Jared stops and turns around to see Desiree materialize near the snack stand. She causes the cotton candy machine to overload, spewing cotton candy into the sky and all over the swap meet and its attendees. The little girl who wanted the cotton candy sees it and instantly cheers up.

"Cotton can…" The toddler girl said, screaming and a flood of cotton candy drowning her cuts her off.

The cotton candy continues to flood the pathways. Meanwhile, a dentist at his 'Dental Work' booth sees the sugary mess and smiles.

"We share everything, except one thing." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

"I'm going ghost!" Danny said, looking around to make sure no one's watching.

"It's hero time!" Jared said, around to make sure no one's watching.

Danny and Jared goes ghost.

"Danny and Jared've got superpowers." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Danny and Jared flies up in the air to meet Desiree.

"I am Desiree. What is your wish?" Desiree asked, looking between Danny and Jared.

"None of your business, Candy Pants." Danny said.

"I've dealt with the Wish Seed. Which was a fake." Jared said, sadly. "I don't have a wish for you."

"Surely there must be something…" Desiree said, reaching for Jared's chest.

"Get away from me!" Jared said, backing away from Desiree.

A ghost ray begins to ball up in Danny's hand and he shoots it at Desiree, sending her into the distance.

"What the heck? What's going on? Is this...a new ghost power?" Danny asked, looking at his glowing hand.

"Yup. That's good for long range attacks." Jared said, looking at Danny's glowing hand.

"That is true." Danny said, still fixated on his hand.

"That was slamming! Whatever that was." Tucker said, from the ground as Danny and Jared floats down. "Danny? You've got another power?"

"I guess." Danny said, looking at his hand.

"Man, that's the cool thing about your powers and Jared's powers, man. There's no downside!" Tucker said, raising his hand. "Gimme five!"

Danny goes to high-five Tucker, but instead shoots another ghost ray at his hand, knocking him backwards into a pile of cotton candy.

"I'm okay!" Tucker said, as more cotton candy falls on top of him.

Casper High football field…

It is now game night.

"So, anyway, I guess the craziness really started at the game Saturday night." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Sam, Tucker, and Jared are sitting in the bleachers. Sam is wrapped in a blanket, sick.

"I'm sick as a dog and I hate sports. Why am I here?" Sam asked, sneezing twice.

"Because Danny and Jared are here and they've got the best seats in the house!" Tucker said, excitedly.

"I do with you. And Danny's the mascot!" Jared said, laughing a lot.

Jared looked down at the football field where the Casper High Ravens mascot runs onscreen.

"And now, everybody, here they are, your very own Casper High Ravens!" The announcer said, nearby, as the mascot jumps around.

The football team runs onto the field, trampling the mascot and causing the costume's beak to fall off, revealing Danny inside it.

"Fill in for the mascot. It'll be fun. You'll meet cheerleaders." Danny said, sarcastically.

Another football player steps on his head. Jared watched the referee blowing his whistle to start the game. The opposing team kicks off, and Dash catches the ball, but is immediately tackled by the entire other team. Dash is about to receive the snap from a teammate.

"Hike!" Dash yelled, rearing up to pass the ball, but is tackled again.

The ball is flying through the air. Dash intercepts the pass and starts running in the opposite direction, but is tackled yet again.

"This is pathetic. Our team's fading fast." Tucker said.

"Me, too. I'm outta here. Later." Sam said, sneezing.

"See ya, Sam." Jared said, and Sam walked away from him and Tucker.

Dash is in a huddle with his teammates, "Man, I wish I could turn into the kind of monster who could crush these guys single-handed."

Desiree materializes out of a green mist above the field. She casts her hand out, sending a green mist over Dash, who has turned away from the huddle. The mist causes him to mutate into a giant green monster, which rips his uniform in the process.

Danny turns and notices this happening, "Huh?"

Dash turns and roars at a teammate, who screams and runs away. Danny's ghost sense and Jared's ghost sense goes off and they see Desiree, who flies off.

"Oh no!" Danny said, worried.

"Shit!" Jared said, terrified.

Monster Dash passes the ball down the field so fast, it catches fire from friction. He growls and runs to catch up and catch it himself.

Announcer's booth…

The two announcers are in the announcers' booth.

"Wow! It looks like those high-protein breakfasts are really paying off!" Announcer #1 said, excitedly.

Casper High football field…

Danny runs over to Tucker and Jared on the bleachers.

"Do you believe this, Danny, Jared? Dash is a beast!" Tucker said.

Dash slams the football into the end zone, cracking the ground.

"And getting angrier." Jared said, frowning.

"And getting beastier." Danny said.

Dash turns and roars, flexing his arms.

"Holy Mark McGwire, look at those arms!" Announcer #2 said.

"Dash's running on ghost power. Tucker, Danny and I need your help." Jared said, happily.

"To kick some ghost booty?" Tucker asked, standing up.

"Sort of." Danny said, his eyes flashing green.

"We're mostly kicking Dash's booty." Jared said, smirking.

"Dash's booty? I'm in." Tucker said.

Dash lines up with the other players for the snap.

"Fifteen!" Dash said, growling. "Twenty-five!" He growled even more. "Three two!"

Danny and Jared float up invisibly over Dash.

"Whoa!" Danny said, holding his nose. "Ghost energy's pretty strong. But hopefully, ripe for the picking."

"It should be." Jared said, while Danny phases his hand into the back of Dash's head. "Do it like you're getting something out of a vending machine."

"Huh?" Dash asked.

"Right." Danny said, pulling a green indistinct ghost, with a head shaped like Dash's, out of Dash's body and flies off with it.

Dash's body shrinks back to normal size and color, leaving him dazed.

"Uh...hike?" Dash asked, as his teammate snaps him the ball and runs off.

The opposing team tackles Dash yet again.

Danny and Jared, still invisible, behind the bleachers.

"Back to the Ghost Zone for you, Trevor Lawrence." Jared said, opening and holding out a Fenton Thermos, sucking in the ghost. "Not that into football."

"Danny and Jared had no problem getting that ghost out of Dash." Tucker said, and Jared caps off the thermos. "But, we lost the game…" Danny and Jared fly off. "…which was bad news for the guy filling in for Danny…" He looked over at the field. "…who was filling in for the guy who usually wears the mascot suit -- me."

Tucker is in the raven mascot suit, hanging upside-down from the goalpost, "Man, every time Danny and Jared go ghost, I get the short end of the stick."

A group of jocks with baseball bats walks up to Tucker.

"Hey, guys. A raven piñata." Jock #1 said.

"Haha! Let's hit him until the candy comes out." Jock #2 said.

Tucker grimaces in fear.

Fenton Works' lab…

Danny and Jared phase through the ceiling, check to see if anyone's there.

"Coast is clear." Jared said, smiling.

"That's good." Danny said, as he and Jared landed in front of the Fenton Portal.

Danny looks around and sees the Fenton Ghost Catcher.

"Goodbye, Trevor Lawrence." Jared said, inserting the thermos into a panel connected to the portal.

"End of the line, gruesome." Danny said.

The contents of the thermos empty out, and the Dash ghost gets sucked into the portal, screaming. Danny and Jared smile at the portal and start to fly off, but Danny accidentally flies through the Ghost Catcher, which separates his ghost and human halves. The human half falls to the ground. Both halves stare at each other, then the ghost half flies back into the human half's body to reunite.

(Jared's POV)

Jack sneezes from a tent he and Maddie have set up in the lab.

"Who's that? Somebody out there?" Jack asked.

Jack and Maddie look out from the entryway of their tent. They are both sick.

"Are we interrupting something, that we hope we're not?" Danny asked.

"Danny, your father and I are purifying ourselves of negative ghost energy." Maddie said, sniffing.

"We're trying to richly expel any viral ghosts in our systems with the Fenton Ghost Catcher." Jack said, sneezing, and Danny looks at the Ghost Catcher. "It's like an Indian dream catcher, except it expunges ghosts and not dreams, you see."

"You might just have a cold, you know. It doesn't have to be a ghost cold." Danny said.

"It can be." I said, letting out a sigh. "A ghost cold. I mean."

Jack and Maddie share a look, then glare at Danny as they walk out of the lab.

"I remember when I was that naive." Jack said.

Danny smiles, then turns and walks back up to the Ghost Catcher. He sticks a hand through it, and the ghost half of his hand separates and floats up in the air.

"Whoa!" Danny said, pulling his hand out quickly and holding the Ghost Catcher. "This one actually works -- a little too well. I'm filing this under 'Must Avoid'."

"Or must be used." I said, looking over at Danny.

(Open POV)

Exterior of Sam's house…

"Even during trying times, one has to remember a fallen comrade." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Sam's bedroom…

Sam is sick in her bed on the phone, with an ice pack on her head.

"Poor Sam was so sick, and all cooped up in her house. That's the worst." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

"Ugh! I feel like I'm going to die. I hate being sick!" Sam said, sneezing so hard, her ice pack gets knocked off her head, before sneezing again.

Sam's bedroom / Mall…

"Hang in there, Sam. Tucker, Jared, and I are gonna come visit you when we're done at the mall. You want us to bring you anything?" Danny asked, on the phone.

"No, no, please." Sam said, sneezing. "Don't bother. My folks are taking pretty good care of me." She turned her laptop around to show Ida (holding soup), a doctor, and 3 nurses standing at her bedside. "Guys, it's just a cold!"

A nurse holding a defibrillator comes in. Sam looks shocked.

"Clear!" The nurse said, angrily.

Movie theater…

Dead Teacher IV is playing. Danny, Tucker, and Jared are walking in the lobby as Danny puts away his phone.

"She's gotta be sick if she's missing Dead Teacher IV." Danny said, phasing through a trash can.

"She totally is." Jared said, sipping on some Mountain Dew.

"This time it's personal." Tucker said.

Danny, Tucker, and Jared keep walking. Behind them in the background, two girls are admiring a Sayonara Pussycat movie standee.

"Oh my gosh! I can't wait for the Sayonara Pussycat movie. I want to see it so bad!" Girl #1 said, excitedly.

"Oh my gosh, I know. Isn't she so cute?" Girl #2 asked.

The girls walk away, and Paulina walks up to admire the standee.

"Sayonara Pussycat is so cute! Why can't I be that popular?" Paulina asked.

Desiree phases through a wall and casts a green mist over Paulina, who starts to glow green. I looked over at a group of movie patrons at the snack counter.

"Hey, everybody!" Paulina said, while everyone turns in shock. "What do you think of me?"

Everyone gasps. Paulina is now floating in the air as a small anime version of herself.

"We love you! We love you! We love you, Paulina!" The crowd cheered.

"Look at me! I'm so cute and cuddly and ever-so-wonderful!" Paulina said, starting to run on the ground. "Don't you think?"

"We agree! We love you, Paulina!" The crowd said, running after Paulina.

(Jared's POV)

Danny, Tucker, and I are standing at a Crash Nebula arcade game, looking at Paulina.

"Paulina?" Danny asked.

"Why does she look like Hello Kitty?" I asked, holding my cup of Mountain Dew.

"Attention, moviegoers." The announcer said, over the PA speaker. "Googolplex Cinemas has officially declared it 'Happy Fabulous Paulina Day'."

"I don't know what to say." Paulina said, stopping and turning around to look at the crowd. "Why squander my popularity here? I'm so adorable, I bet I could become Super Fairy Queen…" She starts to grow in size. "…of All Teenagerdom! Isn't that luscious?"

"Yay!" The crowd said, cheering.

"Tucker, we…" Danny said, sadly.

"If only this was Cinnamoroll." I said, letting out a sigh. "Then Mousey would fangirl over it."

"She would." Tucker said, handing Danny a Fenton Thermos. "Do what you gotta do." He starts walking away. "I'll get seats."

Danny and I go ghost and fly toward Paulina, lifting and flying her away from the crowd.

(Open POV)

Empty theater…

Tucker is watching Ponies! Ponies! Ponies!

"Man, I cover for Danny and Jared, my movie gets sold out, and I gotta watch this now. I'm tired of being left out all the time. Man, I wish I had ghost powers, too." Tucker said, annoyed.

Desiree phases through the back wall of the theater and floats behind Tucker. He notices her and gasps.

"Your heart's desire is my command." Desiree said, waving her hand around.

A green mist surrounds Tucker, and Desiree phases out of the theater. The mist disappears and Tucker looks around. He suddenly glows green and turns invisible, phasing down through his seat while screaming. His head phases back up out of his seat and he takes stock of what has happened.

"Sweet!" Tucker said, smirking.

(Jared's POV)

Storage room of the movie theater…

Danny and I phase Paulina and ourselves through the wall and sets her down.

"Hi, I'm Paulina. I'm adorable and swell and full of big-headed anime goodness." Paulina said.

"Hello Kitty." I said, while Danny sticks his hand out, charging up ecto-blast. "Sayonara Pussycat."

Danny shoots the ecto-blast at Paulina's head, expelling a small, anime ghost cat that appears behind her.

"Hi! Isn't everything in the world sweet and…" Sayonara Pussycat said, spinning. "…wonderful and…"

She meows as Danny sucks her into the thermos. He caps it off, and Paulina returns back to normal, holding her head in a daze.

"Cool. It worked! I can't wait to tell Tucker." Danny said, phasing out through the ceiling.

"Honestly. Same. Can't believe I made two pop culture references from two different universes." I said, phasing out through the ceiling.

"Wh-where am I? And why do I feel that I'm special and adorable?" Paulina said, pausing. "Because I am!"

Paulina is walking off confidently.

Movie theater…

Danny and I turned back to humans while hiding near a theater's exit doors. We then then scan the crowd in the theater, looking for Tucker.

"Huh, no Tuck. Eh, he must've taken off." Danny said, walking away.

"He really must have." I said, walking away with Danny. "He's missing a good horror movie."

Dead Teacher IV starts playing on the movie screen. Tucker floats above the crowd, smiling down at them.

"Oh, sure, that's what they probably thought." Tucker said, as a voiceover, turning invisible. He floats down and eats a lady's popcorn. "But why would he even suspect…" He drinks from a girl's soda, puts a man's toupee on a boy, and puts a boy's arm around a girl. He then floats up and looks back at his work. "…that I was having the time of my fourteen-year-old life?"

The sound of the girl punching the boy whose arm was around her is heard, and Tucker laughs and flies off.

Outside of the theater…

Cars are in traffic, and zoom in on a car with a surfboard on top and an annoyed driver inside.

"Oh, man. Bogus. Stupid car." The driver said, sighing. "I wish you could just fly over stuff so I wouldn't have to sit here."

A green mist starts to come out of his car vents, and Desiree's voice is heard, "So you wish it, so shall it be."

"What the heck?" Driver asked, tuning the car radio. "Hey, this isn't my station!"

His car begins to glow green, and the wheels turn horizontally. The car zooms up into the air and the man screams as the car flies off. Danny and I left the movie theater. Danny's ghost sense and my ghost sense goes off, and we look up to see Desiree flying off.

"Jeez, lady, don't you ever take a break?" Danny asked, seeing the flying car. "Flying car?"

"What is this? Back to the Future?" I asked, while Danny and I jumped behind the theater's box office and goes ghost, then flew up alongside the flying car, where the driver was still screaming in a panic. "The car was destroyed. I saw it happen."

"I know you did, Jared. Hey, slow down, Jeff Gordon! You're going over the speed limit." Danny said, looking to the side. "And the height limit."

The driver screams as the car zooms ahead.

Tucker suddenly flies up next to Danny and I, "Don't sweat this one, Danny, Jared. I'm on it."

Tucker zooms off ahead, and Danny screeches to a halt in surprise with me, watching Tucker fly off after the car.

"Tucker?!" Danny exclaimed, looking over at me. "Jared, did you know this would happen?"

"Yup." I said, watching the car still flying and swerving around with the man screaming inside. "This is so Back to the Future. Literally."

Car…

Tucker phases down into the passenger seat, "Chill, dude. Tucker Phantom's on the case. I could also go with the Flying Dutchman."

"Tucker Phantom?" Danny asked, phasing his head through the backseat.

"The Flying Dutchman?" I asked, phasing my head through the backseat.

"Okay, ignoring the total originality of those…" Danny said, phasing his body through the seat.

"Honestly. Same. The Dead Man's Chest doesn't come out till 2006." I said, phasing my body through the seat. "How does he know about it?"

"How the heck did you get ghost powers anyway?" Danny asked, sitting down.

"I knew I'd get it after being exposed to the Ghost Portal. How did you get it Tuck?" I asked, sitting down.

"Who knows? And more importantly, who cares? And now, if you'll excuse me…" Tucker said, grabbing the steering wheel. "…I have some heroic exploits to attend to."

"Tucker! You and Danny are too young to drive!" I said, grabbing the steering wheel as well. "Let me take control of the gravity of the situation!"

The driver screams as the car swerves and spins around.

"Tucker! Let go of the wheel! This is serious!" Danny yelled.

Danny and I get knocked into the backseat. Tucker and the driver scream as the car flies towards a building. I phase the entire car intangible and it flies seamlessly through the building and out the other side.

Tucker looks out the side window back at me through the back window, "Oh, sure. Phase the car through the building. You and Danny Phantom had to save the day, didn't you?"

"Yeah. I kinda had to. Because smashing a car into the twenty-eighth floor of a building would repeat 9/11!" I said, angrily. "Can't let anyone innocent get caught in the crossfire."

"You and Danny are just jealous because there's somebody else around…" Tucker said, pointing a thumb at himself. "…to grab the spotlight now."

"Yo, hallucinations! Focus!" The driver said, pointing ahead.

"When have Jared and I ever grabbed the spotlight?" Danny asked.

"How about right now, for instance?" Tucker asked.

The driver screams as the car crashes into the open top window of a grain silo on a farm. The car then falls down and out of the bottom doors of the silo. A chicken lands and pecks at the grain, but the driver pops his heads out of it so that the chicken is on his head. He looks up and notices, then smiles.

"Chyeah! There's a chicken on my head!" The driver said, worried.

"Tucker, please." Danny said, phasing out of the grain. "This is stupid."

"It really is stupid, Tucker." I said, phasing out of the grain. "This is like Rose being jealous of Sarah Jane for a while. But it got extended by a lot."

"Tucker, you're one of my best friends. I'm not jealous. I'm concerned." Danny said, when Tucker phases out of the grain.

"I'm concerned too. Tucker, you don't know the extent of your ghost powers." I said, sadly. "I've been able to handle the ghost powers due to extended travel in the time vortex. But you weren't."

"Well, don't be. Neither of you. This town's big enough for more than two ghost kids." Tucker said, flying up.

"Tuck, wait!" Danny said, reaching his arm out.

Tucker glares down at Danny and I, then turns and zooms off at a sonic speed.

"Whoa! I can't fly that fast. Jared? Is he getting more powerful?" Danny asked.

(Open POV)

Storefront of the Mr. Meat butcher shop….

Tucker's head is sticking out of a platter of food in the window display. He is holding his PDA, video-chatting with Sam on it.

"So, why didn't you guys see a movie today?" Sam asked, sneezing.

"Uh, we got a little distracted." Tucker said.

Sam is on Tucker's PDA, blowing her nose on a tissue while resting in bed.

"I'm just goofing off by myself now." Tucker said.

A man walks by on the sidewalk, and suddenly cringes in surprise at seeing Tucker's head.

"What happened?" Sam asked, as a dog walked up to the window. Tucker sticks his tongue out at it, causing it to run away. "Danny and Jared have ghost trouble?"

"You might say that. So, how are ya?" Tucker asked.

"Ugh, it's horrible, Tucker." Sam said, sneezing into a tissue. "But somehow, I'll muddle through."

"I didn't want to tell Sam about my new ghost powers yet." Tucker said, as a voiceover, while Sam closed her laptop and picked up a remote. "What if she got as jealous as Danny and Jared did?"

Sam presses a button on the remote. A large set of speakers comes up out of the floor at the foot of her bed and blasts super-loud music that nearly blows her and her bed away.

Exterior of Casper High…

"And speaking of Danny and Jared…" Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Casper High…

Mr. Lancer is in the hallway, about to drink from a water fountain. The fountain's handle suddenly spins around on its own, causing water to shoot into Mr. Lancer's face. He leans back in surprise.

"Moby Dick!" Mr. Lancer said, and his belt suddenly comes undone on its own, slides out of his belt loops, and falls to the floor. He notices and reaches down for the belt, but the fountain turns on and splashes water in his face again. His tie then comes undone on its own. "Gulliver's Travels! I'm losing my mind!" His pants fall down. "And my pants!"

Students begin laughing around Mr. Lancer, and he glares at them. Tucker phases out of a wall around the corner and looks back at the scene, laughing. Danny and Jared come up behind him and sniffs.

"Nice trick. Do you do kids' parties?" Danny asked.

"Like, do you do them like Doctor Strange does?" Jared asked, sipping on some Coke.

"Dudes, relax. I'm just having fun." Tucker said, turning around and his eyes widened at noticing Danny's and Jared's condition. "You okay?"

"We may be catching Sam's cold, but that's not important right now. Tucker, look." Danny said.

"No need. You two can keep that superhero jazz to yourselves. I'm in this for the kicks." Tucker said, looking between Jared and Danny.

"I was afraid of that, Tucker. Yang got over that phase in her life. Clara hasn't gotten reckless yet since she still has Danny Pink. Ruby already has become reckless after the Ever After." Jared said, letting out a sigh. "Danny, do it."

"Right." Danny said, putting his hand on Tucker's shoulder. "I hate to do this, pal, but I need to see what's going on inside of you, and there's only one way to do that."

Danny turns intangible and overshadows Tucker, who starts to glow green. His eyes turn red and he grunts as he fights back against Danny's presence and forces him out of his chest, projecting him towards a 'Personnel Only' door. Danny phases through the door while yelling and crashes inside a janitor's closet. Jared phased through into the janitor's closet.

Tucker opens the door and glares down at Danny, "Don't ever do that again. Get it?"

"Got it." Danny said.

"Good." Tucker said, walking away, narrating, while Danny and Jared frowns. "Okay, maybe I was a little rough on Danny. And I'm kinda glad Jared stayed out of it. But nobody likes party poopers. And man, was I having a party."

Casper High cafeteria…

Students gasp in shock as an invisible Tucker walks by holding a lunch tray, so that it looks like it's floating on its own.

"Excuse me, pardon me." Tucker said, singing to himself while he cuts to the front of the line and serves himself some food. The other students drop their trays and run away, screaming.

Music class…

Students are playing their instruments. An invisible Tucker phases through the ceiling, holding a bottle of purple soda and smiling mischievously. He pours the soda into the opening of a tuba. The tuba player stops playing, and soda squirts out of his nose, mouth, and ears.

Outside of Casper High…

Tucker materializes behind a tree, peeking out from behind it, "Hmm, there's one little ghost trick I haven't tried yet: the ghost-imposed hookup."

Paulina is walking along the path. Danny's ghost sense and Jared's ghost sense goes off, and they see Tucker behind the tree watching Paulina.

"Crap." Jared said, frowning.

"Oh no." Danny said, sadly.

Tucker turns intangible and phases into Paulina, overshadowing her and causing her eyes to glow. She stops walking and puts a hand on her hip as Danny walks up to her.

"I just wanted to let you know, I'm gonna start dating Tucker Foley." Tucker said, overshadowing Paulina and pointing at Danny. "He's much cooler than you are, so stop chasing me with Jared."

"Tucker, get out of there." Danny said.

"Danny's right. Get out of Paulina. You don't know what harm you can do mentally." Jared said, looking at Tucker possessing Paulina.

"Why don't you make me?" Tucker asked, shaking his head.

"Fine! I will!" Danny said, turning intangible and overshadows Paulina as well.

Paulina glows green during the action, then turns around and opens her eyes, which are glowing green as Danny takes charge of her body.

"Tucker, you're turning the whole school upside-down. How 'bout giving it a break?" Danny asked, overshadowing Paulina.

"How about getting off my back and letting me have a little fun?" Tucker asked, turning Paulina's body around, her eyes glowing teal, before pointing.

"Because your fun is kind of mean." Danny said, turning Paulina around, eyes glow green, pointing, and jerks her thumb over shoulder. "Now get out of Paulina!"

"I was here first. You go." Tucker said, turning Paulina around, eyes glow teal.

"No, you!" Danny said, turning Paulina around, eyes glow green.

"You! Babazita's genie…" Tucker said, turning Paulina around, eyes glow teal, and he points thumb at self. "…gave me these powers, and I'll use them how I want."

Danny phases out of Paulina and floats in the air invisibly.

"Then maybe Jared and I need to have a chat with this Babazita." Danny said, flying off with Jared.

"Yeah. We need to talk with the fortune teller." Jared said, looking down at Tucker.

"Fine!" Tucker said, overshadowing Paulina. "But you two and I…" He cups hand to mouth. "…aren't friends anymore, Danny Fenton and Jared Shay!"

Paulina glows green and her eyes briefly turn red as Tucker phases out of her and flies off. Paulina is dazed.

"Uh, what? Huh?" Paulina asked, looking around to see classmates watching her, confused. "And--I never was friends with you!"

Paulina points a finger up in the air while still looking around.

"It was our first argument, and we were having it over a girl." Tucker said, as a voiceover, flying up high above the pathway. "Well, in one, actually. I'm glad Jared didn't get involved with that, because that would have been a disaster. But, you get the point."

Tucker flies off.

Swap meet…

Danny and Jared talked to Babazita at the swap meet, who jumps up on her table to explain and act out Desiree's story as Tucker narrates it.

"That was my mistake, reminding Danny and Jared where the ghost came from." Tucker said, as a voiceover, and Babazita starts to dance. "Apparently, Desiree was a harem girl…" He thought of an image of a human Desiree dancing for a sultan. "…who had been promised her heart's desire." Tucker then thought of the sultan pointing out a palace to Desiree. "...her own kingdom…" He thought of the sultan's wife pointing for Desiree to get out. "…only to be banished by the sultan's jealous wife." Tucker thought of Danny and Jared. "She died of a broken heart. And old age." Babazita mimes dying from old age and Tucker thought of ghost Desiree flying above a village. "After that, her spirit roamed…" He thought of Desiree granting a medieval man a bag of gold coins. "…granting people's deepest desires." Tucker thought of the man giving coins to a lady he loves as a sad Desiree watches. "…but at a great personal cost." He thought of Babazita. "Hey, who knew?"

Babazita shrugs.

(Jared's POV)

Park…

Danny and I are standing at a fountain, with the Fenton holding a Fenton Thermos.

"Danny, you know how I said that there was a Wish Seed. And how it turned out to be a fake." I said, while Danny sniffs.

"You did say that. If you're trying to snag a wishing ghost, what better place than a wishing well?" Danny asked, flipping a coin into the fountain and looks around expectantly, but nothing happens. "Dang it."

Danny sneezes and walks away. I made sure to close the park ahead of time with approval from UNIT just so that this can pass by quicker and I held out a coin. I held up a coin by the fountain.

"I wish to be able to change the future for the better!" I said, flipping the coin into the fountain, and a green mist comes out of the water and wraps itself around me.

"So it is desired, so shall it be." Desiree said, nearby.

Danny turns around and notices what is happening.

"Huh?" Danny asked, and he flashes his eyes green as he changes into Phantom. He runs over and grabs me from the mist, holding me in his arms. "Oh, no you don't."

"Young intruder, you dare to interfere with my spellbinding?!" Desiree exclaimed, materializing out of the fountain.

"He does." I said, turning intangible and goes ghost to fly up next to Danny. "I knew Danny would come back."

"Listen, Desiree, we want you to take away Tucker's ghost powers, pronto." Danny said, looking at Desiree.

"I cannot. By noon tomorrow, your friend's fate will be sealed." Desiree said, laughing evilly. "His jealousy will transform him forever into the most powerful ghost boy in the world!"

"Seriously?" I asked, when Desiree laughed evilly.

"Tuck? He's not that jealous. Is he?" Danny asked.

"More than you and your friend knows. Tomorrow his jealousy and frustration will cement into rage and rebellion. He will be complete." Desiree said, while she starts to fly off, but Danny grabs her tail.

"You change him back!" Danny said, angrily.

"You dare lay a hand on me?! No man may lay a hand on me unless I wish it!" Desiree yelled.

"Yeah? How 'bout a fist?" Danny asked, trying to spin and punch Desiree, but she flies out of the way.

Desiree changes her left hand into a lasso and throws it around Danny's waist, catching him. He screams as she swings him up into the air and throws him back down on half of a wooden bench, crushing it as a lady feeds birds seed while sitting on the other half, oblivious. Desiree lets go of Danny and then zooms down towards him, but he shoots an ecto-blast at her.

"Get back!" Danny said, as the ecto-blast hits Desiree and she wails as she falls to the ground.

Desiree then smiles evilly and reaches a giant hand out, extending it and pinning Danny to the ground underneath it. She towers above him.

"Aah!" Danny said, struggling. "Can't break free! Can't go intangible and escape!"

"I got this." I said, spotting the thermos lying a few feet from Danny's head.

"You can't do anything unless I wish it!" Desiree said, looking at me.

"You can't, but I can." I said, grabbing the Fenton Thermos, uncaps it, and points it at Desiree. "I wish you would disappear inside this thermos!"

"What?" Desiree asked, retracting her arm. "Nooo! I must obey." She obeys while getting sucked into the thermos. "You will pay for this! Paaaaaay!"

I capped off the thermos.

"Jared, if we weren't 'C' students, we would've thought of that five days ago." Danny said, looking at me.

"Yup. We would have. Now we have to find Tuck." I said, flying off with Danny.

Casper High hallway…

The clock on the wall shows it's 11:45.

Danny walks in with me and looks at the clock, "Quarter to noon, and no sign of Tucker."

Danny and I suddenly stop in surprise and gasp as his ghost sense and my ghost sense goes off. We looked up at the sign above the door next to him, which reads, 'School Records'.

"Should've guessed." Danny said, sadly.

Danny and I phase through the door as Phantom and the Black Pearl to find Tucker typing at a computer. He is changing the grades on his permanent record to 'A's'.

"Tucker, you're changing your grades?! That's cheating!" Danny yelled.

"I like to think of it as 'academic enrichment'. Want me to do yours?" Tucker asked, turning around in the desk chair.

"Tucker, you don't have to do Danny's. No way. You're in grave danger." I said, reaching a hand out towards Tucker.

Tucker leans back from my touch and growls as his body turns and glows green and his eyes turn red.

"Tuck, you don't have to be this serious. You can take it easy and relax. Aren't you, me, and Danny friends?" I asked, putting my hands up defensively. "It has always been like that."

"We're only friends on your terms, especially due to foresight." Tucker siad, pointing a thumb at himself. "But now I make the rules around here. And my first rule is, 'No more Danny Phantom and the Black Pearl'."

Tucker sucks in a deep breath and blows out a powerful green breath that knocks Danny and I off our feet, causing us to scream and phase through the door and across the hallway through a set of lockers into a science classroom.

Science classroom…

Danny and I crash into a blackboard and fall to the floor.

"He's getting more malevolent. More ghost-like." Danny said.

"He really is." I said, when Tucker phases into the classroom. "This is bad."

"Tuck, please! You have to listen to us. There isn't much time!" Danny said, standing up.

"You got that right." Tucker said, bringing his hands back to charge up an ecto-blast. "Your time is up."

Tucker shoots the ecto-blast at Danny and I, who jumps out of the way and flies along the ceiling as Tucker tries to hit us with more ecto-blasts. I flew and lands behind Tucker, then flips off his beret over his head and jumps out of the way as Tucker swings and tries to punch me. Tucker then shoots multiple ecto-blasts at Danny as he runs behind a table of lab equipment, which the ecto-blasts hit. Tucker then reaches down and puts his beret back on, only to look up and see Danny throw a skeleton at him. He turns intangible and the skeleton phases through him, hitting the wall behind him.

"Ha! Is that the best the two of you can do?" Tucker asked.

Danny ducks behind the table as Tucker shoots more ecto-blasts at him.

"Unfortunately, yes. We can't get through to him!" Danny said, pausing while getting an idea, and he and I smile. "But I know what can." We jump out to float in front of the table. "Catch us if you can, Sucker Phantom!"

Danny and I turned intangible and smiles and waves as we phase down through the floor. Tucker goes over to the spot we phased through and yells at it.

"That's Tucker Phantom!" Tucker said, turning intangible. "Tucker!"

Tucker phases through the floor.

Girls' locker room…

Danny and I phase down through the ceiling and floats invisibly.

"The girls' locker room." Danny said, phasing into one of the lockers.

"One of the best ways to hide." I said, phasing into one of the lockers.

Tucker phases down through the ceiling and turns tangible.

"The girls' locker room…" Tucker said, relaxing momentarily and looks around. "So this is what it's like in here."

"Bra-vo!" I said, suddenly coming in and stuffs a bra over Tucker's head, then grabs him and phases him through the wall into the basketball gym with Danny behind me. "He shoots! He scores!"

Danny takes Tucker over to and stuffs him through the basketball hoop, smiling down at him. Tucker lands on his head, and the bra lands on his butt.

Danny and I look at the gym clock.

"Danny, we have only five minutes left." I said, sadly.

"Ha! You got no game!" Danny said, looking at Tucker.

Tucker stands and glares, then transforms into a taller, more powerful and monster-like ghost while letting out a roar. He opens his eyes to reveal they are fully red now. Danny and I look worried, but phases out through the wall of the gym, and Tucker follows.

Outside up in the air…

Tucker flies in chase after Danny and I , who suddenly vanishes.

Tucker comes to a stop and floats, "Where are you two? Where?!"

Tucker's ghost sense suddenly goes off, and he turns around to see Danny, arms crossed and grinning knowingly, floating behind him.

"What's the matter? Can't catch what you can't see?" Danny asked.

Tucker lunges after Danny and I and tries to grab us, but Danny and I vanish into thin air again. Danny and I then reappears flying above Fenton Works, looking around for Tucker.

"Where is he? He has to have followed us." Danny said, looking behind us. "It's almost noon!"

"He's here." I said, and Danny and I suddenly stop as Tucker appeared right in front of us. "I know he is."

"Yo." Tucker said, yelling in Danny's face and my face. "What's the dizzle, fizzle?"

Fenton Works…

Tucker grabs Danny and I, turns them both intangible, and starts phasing us down through the levels of Fenton Works.

"No! Don't throw us into the Ghost Zone. Please!" Danny said, in a fake acting tone.

"I wasn't going to, but that is a great idea!" Tucker said, excitedly.

Fenton Works lab…

We phase down into the Fenton Works' lab. The clock on the wall shows that it is 11:59 and 51 seconds, and counting.

"Jared, we're only gonna have one shot at this." Danny said.

We turn tangible again. Danny, still in Tucker's grasp, starts to charge up his hands with ecto-blasts, but suddenly stops and tremendously sneezes all over Tucker prompting Tucker to let go of Danny and I.

"Hey, cover your mouth!" Tucker yelled.

Danny, whose fists are still charged up with green energy, lunges at Tucker and hits him, sending him backwards through the Fenton Ghost Catcher, separating Tucker and the ghost of Tucker Phantom, with Tucker falling to the floor. He opens his eyes to see the ghost leering over him.

"Is...Is that me?" Tucker asked, pointing at the ghost.

The ghost growls at him and roars as Tucker cowers, but then frantically looks back to see me sucking him into the thermos.

"Nope, it's not you, Tuck. Not anymore. You got as vengeful as a Dalek." I said, sniffing.

Tucker walks up to me and Danny as I capped off the thermos, "Oh, man, Danny, Jared. I'm sorry. I--I couldn't control myself."

"Dude, don't worry about it." Danny said, sniffing. "You were under the genie's spell, and you broke it."

"Yeah, but none of that would've happened if I wasn't jealous." Tucker said.

"Or if I had been a little less of a show-off around you." Danny said, sticking his hand out. "Friends?"

"Friends?" I asked, sticking my hand out.

"The best." Tucker said, grabbing Danny's hand and my hand.

We walk off. Behind us, in the tent, Maddie and Jack peek out and look around, then look at each other and shrug, then close the tent flap again.

Exterior of the Foley residence…

"Tucker Foley, digital journal, Saturday. They say, 'Be careful what you wish for'. To that, I'd like to add a big, fat 'Duh'!" Tucker said, as a voiceover.

A very sick Tucker sitting with a pillow behind his head, blankets wrapped around him and a thermometer in his mouth, typing on his PDA with the stylus.

"Especially when it comes to best friends." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

A very sick Danny and I are sitting next to Tucker on a couch. We also have pillows behind our heads as well as ice packs on top of it, and are wrapped in blankets like Tucker. Tucker looks over at Danny and I, smiling.

"'Cause I couldn't wish for better ones." Tucker said, as a voiceover.

Danny, Tucker, and I sneeze at the same time. Sam walks in, carrying a tray with three bowls of hot soup.

"Jeez, do you guys have to share everything?" Sam asked.

"You don't know the half of it." Danny said, smiling.

"You really don't." I said, happily.

Danny, Tucker, and I look and smile at each other. I then looked closer at Tucker.
