Training time!

"ALLRIGHTTT! THE TRAINING BEGINS!!!"

Shouted Akira early in the morning, feeling amped up and disturbing his neighbors.

"Shut up, brat!" Yelled his neighbor, annoyed by his scream.

Akira left his home and went off to his training spot near the mountains.

Without exhaustion, he punched rocks and trees, hunted slime, ran a mile, and worked his muscles with weight training using wooden dumbbells and heavy stones.

Not just that, he used basic workouts but slightly harder than beginner's workouts. He often made his training to the point that all of his body get to work.

"Just you wait! I'll get stronger!" Akira panted, exhausted from his nonstop training for the last 5 hours.

"Let's see how I've gone so far. System! " Akira checked his stats.

"Wait what? After all that just 2?!" Akira was dissatisfied, that he went through all that just to get a small boost, and made him realize it wasn't going to be easy and would take way longer than he could possibly imagine.

"Damn it! Seems like I'll need a whole year to get it a hundred more. That's fine, IT JUST MAKES ME MORE FIRED UP!!!!" Akira was driven to improve his output even further. He arose to resume training while his eyes were like flames filled with fervor.

He lied down...

Since his cramped leg said otherwise.

This was because  he was unable to replenish his stamina or heal his muscles effectively. He only healed if a wound or fatal damage was received to him.

He raised his degree of training the following day, getting more serious with each passing day.

He ascended 109 meters into the mountains each day, ran a mile with a heavy bag strapped to his back and a hefty stone in his arms, and performed 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups, and 100 squats.

It would be harder for him to simply gain stronger as his training would intensify with time. He felt and experienced tremendous agony in his muscles as a result, but because of his healing powers, he was able to restore all the muscular tissues that kept him from stopping his training. However, the pain couldn't be erased.

[A month later...]

He panted and viewed the result of his system stats after one month.

"WOW, seems all of that training paid off!" Akira exclaimed in amazement that his training hadn't been for nothing. It was worthwhile to be patient because, without a doubt, people might become better versions of themselves by being true to and confident in who they were.

"I can't wait for five years' results! Just you wait I'll become the strongest!" While shouting to himself, Akira spoke. He frequently performed this as a bit of a habit to give himself some motivation and courage.

Whoosh!

Someone looked to be observing Akira's training as the bushes rustled.

Julia and her grandfather were watching Akira's training as they emerged from the bushes.

Akira was too focused on his training and was unable to sense them, which would've been active passively.

"It seems he outdid it huh, grandpa. His muscles are gradually developing." As she commended Akira's determination during training, Julia laughed.

She met Akira while picking berries, and he was continuing his training without stopping despite having dirt all over his body. This was why she was with her grandfather.

She was spewing rubbish, her granddad said in response. A typical warrior may have at least a thousand stats, if not more, according to her grandpa.

Although Julia was aware, she pressed her grandfather to acknowledge how remarkable Akira's achievements were, and her grandfather did so.

He could not understand why he wanted to become the strongest, but his training demonstrated his will to pursue his objectives and become the greatest.

Akira had so low mana, according to Julia's grandfather, and it wasn't typical for him to have such low mana.

He then requested access to Julia's system so he could demonstrate it. Since individuals could not view one another's systems, Julia nodded and then opened her own.

Akira had told his friends, family, and the curious villager about his system. He didn't brag, though; he was merely telling them how he lived after Julia had said that Akira had survived from being eaten and had then killed the serpent.

Julia observed her system and informed her grandpa.

He reasoned that Akira had some sort of issue. His mana was incredibly low compared to other warriors and even peasants. He was out of the ordinary and unique. He had a limited amount of mana and many magical skills.

'Hmm, based on how low it is. I think it wouldn't be much of a problem, considering that he is immortal.' Julia's grandfather stated in his mind with his hand on his chin.

Julia's grandfather then told her to head back to the village after watching what Akira was doing.

They soon left after. Akira did feel their presence right before they were discussing Akira's abilities, but he ignored them.

[3 minutes later...]

Suddenly, another serpent appeared and attacked Julia and her grandfather. The grandfather ducked his head whilst holding Julia's hand to move away.

It was odd that the serpent would appear again since a month ago, they saw that the serpent was killed back at the shrine.

"That serpent again??" Exclaimed Julia's grandfather. He ran hurriedly to protect his granddaughter by shielding her with his arms.

Julia screamed for help and her scream then echoed in the surrounding area. Akira's ears budged as he heard a scream for help from afar. Without a second to wait, he rushed to the call.

During his training, he now had enhanced his physical strength and had able to perform incredible feats such as running a mile in 23 seconds, jumping higher than a tree, and crushing a boulder with bare hands.

Thanks to Akira's Keen Instincts, he was able to track the voice and scent and finally made it.

Akira was shocked as he leaped into the fray and saw another serpent. According to Akira, this one was stronger and larger than the previous one.

Julia's grandfather held her tightly to Julia as he begged for his help. He stated that a serpent only lived near the city and didn't know why it was near the village.

Akira approached the serpent and summoned his dagger.

His grip tightened as he smiled with his teeth exposed, repositioning his body and entering his stance. His calf was building up muscles, increasing his potential energy.

He jumped.

Launching himself like a catapult and aimed his dagger at its head, impaling it right in the eye and making the beast fall.

Akira chopped its head off with the strength of his swing. Akira stood up, full of blood, covering his body and killing the beast.

"Hahaha, how'd you like that, snakey?" Akira smirked.

Julia and her grandpa were impressed. Her grandpa praised Akira's performance as quite impressive, as Julia was petrified due to her trauma.

A month ago, after the incident happened, Julia was badly traumatized and still wasn't cured. Akira then asked about her condition. She answered that she was fine, and Akira smiled in relief.

"Alright then, time to get you guys to safety." Akira then led them back to safety.

[The next day...]

Akira resumed his training and continued to focus on his goal of becoming stronger...

Akira then appeared to be suspicious of something related to yesterday's serpent attack.

"Hmm, another serpent appears later that day. Do they have a nest somewhere here?" Akira believed that they had a nest somewhere near the village, and so he followed the scent of the serpent's dome with his keen instincts.

After a while, Akira returned to the shrine where he killed the serpent a month earlier. Akira entered the dimly lit cave.

After 2 minutes of surveying the area, he discovered a light that appeared to be a crystal cave.

He ran toward it and discovered a snake den. Akira made his way to the serpent's lair with a wooden lit torch in his hand.

Hiss!

With the echoed sound of a giant snake hissing, Akira presumed that the snake had to be nearby. In the darkness, Akira found the giant snake that he had never seen before.

"Holy snake crap!" Akira was shocked to see a snake six times his size. When it looked at Akira, it had an intimidating expression on its sharp-pointed pupils.

He summoned his dagger and confronted the King Serpent alone. He held it tightly while not underestimating its size.

"Die here!" Akira shouted and proceeded toward the serpent's body by running to his right, using the large pointy rock that was beside him as a shield.

The king serpent took notice and swung its tail, bashing at Akira. Akira jumped, swerved around the tail, and climbed onto it.

He held his dagger tightly and tried aiming for the serpent's weak points, which were its eyes.

Moments later, Akira was harmed by the acid spat by the serpent. The serpent moved around to remove Akira from its body.

Akira groaned as he stood up and was still alive. Akira's body melted to the point that his bones were visible. But Akira's immortality prevented him from death.

He regenerated every muscle and bone in his body as if he was morphing.

"Hah! Unfortunately for you, snakey, I am immortal!" Akira laughed derisively, mocking that he was immortal. Though, Akira felt a tremendous pain coming from the acid as it ripped his bones and flesh. The simple way to describe the pain was like burning.

Akira's regenerated physique did not affect its acidity because he could regenerate if it did so. He persisted in rushing an attack on the king once more.

He had learned from his mistake and now employed his danger sense and awareness of his surroundings, of which he was now completely aware. Even if he couldn't die that didn't mean he could not feel pain.

Akira dodged its acid by doing zigzags and sidestepping, avoiding the acid. However, it still burned him slightly since he wasn't very swift.

Akira clenched his dagger. He jumped after the snake bent lower as it tried to devour Akira. He maneuvered quickly and launched his attack into the serpent's eye, successfully injuring the creature.

He leaped to the side of its head and stabbed the other eye, making the serpent screech and fall to the ground.

However, the serpent rose and devoured Akira completely. Akira didn't flinch when he entered the creature's jaws, he proceeded to stab it in the stomach till it died, the same as he killed his first serpent.

Akira cut open the serpent's belly and emerged from within. He triumphed over the boss serpent and the rest of the serpents who adored its monarch departed.

After that, Akira then planned to notify the village in the hopes that they could clean up the mess so that others wouldn't have to worry...

"Phew, that takes care of that; oh well, then it's time for some more training, but first!" Akira had other things on his mind...

Akira headed back to the village, he went to Julia's house because it was near his training spot and knocked on her door.

"So, uh... Julia... Hehe," Akira giggled, naked, and holding a leaf closing his p. After Julia opened the door she started blushing madly.

"Mind giving me your spare clothes?" Akira with a cheeky smile rubbed his head. His body was completely naked due to the snake's acid that melted his clothes.

"KYAAAAAAAA!" Julia screamed as she closed her eyes.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING? YOU PERV!!" She yelled so loudly, that even a deaf person could hear.

"Wait, wait, wait! It's not what you think! it's a long story short, I can explai-" Akira reasoned and dropped the leaf.

Julia then fired her water magic at Akira.

[WATER MAGIC: WATER CANNON]

"NO, WAIT FOR- GAHHHHHH" Akira screamed as she fired her magic blast.

Akira got his butt kicked by Julia and finally got his spare clothes...
