After 3 years of training, Akira appeared to be missing out on something and couldn't get his mind off it.

"Ugh, I'm so stressed. I believe it is my duty to realize my potential. Not only immortality, though. There must be some sort of hidden water magic or fire magic like Julia. I can't think clearly, GAHHHH!" Akira was overthinking something, and he was also somewhat envious of Julia and the others who had elemental magic.

Since the age of 7, he has desired elemental magic but has received immortality. It wasn't a bad ability, but he was curious about how to make the most of it.

He felt stronger than ever after three years of training, but something wasn't quite right. Due to his rigorous training, his strength grew dramatically. He was as fast as a bullet, his body was strong enough to withstand a beast's punch, and he could destroy a giant boulder with his bare fist. But he wasn't so sure that all of his training went well.

"And there's all it is to it, I'm not sure what it is. I've fought monsters and beasts for 3 years. I've sharpened my senses and trained a lot, and it's still not working for me. Now I'm wondering, what the hell is a bonus stats?" Akira grumbled. 

*Bushes rustled* 

"Huh? Who's there?! Show yourself! " Akira was alarmed because his danger sense had been activated, and he summoned his dagger.

He then spotted a strange man fleeing from a massive boar chasing him.

"HELPPP MEEEEE!!! PLEASE, SOMEONE!!! " A stranger was running away naked from a giant boar, chasing after him.

He had disheveled white hair, his body was built. However, he looked as if he was an old man because of his white hair, from what Akira assumed. Despite that, he didn't have a crippled face.

"Huh? Alright just wait right there!" Akira dashed to the man's aid.

Akira discarded his dagger in favor of using his bare hands to defeat the boar for his dinner.

With his enhanced strength from his training, Akira smashed the boar with one punch, knocking the boar out cold.

The stranger panted and thanked him, and his knees went numb from all the running. Akira welcomed and interrogated the man as to why he was naked.

"Huh, oh, my clothes were ripped off by the stupid branches and trees, not to mention I was chased by a boar," The man explained why he was here and why he was naked. Akira folded his arm and stared at him awkwardly while holding a suspicion on him. Seconds later, Akira fell silent and began to think about it again. The man noticed that Akira was in deep thought about something, so he asked what was wrong.

He said that he could feel something was missing. He wasn't sure how to put it, but his training wasn't much use right now.

The man laughed and finally understood why he was strong. Punching a boar as if it was nothing, he complimented. Akira thanked him for his compliment but was still unsure.

The man advised him to get a mentor for his training, Akira's attention was attracted and so he listened.

"Yes, a mentor always gives you tips and tricks and trains you to be greater than the teacher is. And for that, I know who's going to be your mentor!" The man figured out who was going to be his mentor as he snapped his finger.

"Who?"

"Me!" The stranger pointed at himself and claimed that he could teach Akira.

Akira was in disbelief because he knew that he was shamed by a boar, not to mention getting naked. He didn't realize he had done the same of being naked, though it only happened when he died being burned, exploded, and so on.

The man claimed that he was only messing around, so he introduced himself as Sora Algeyante. Akira introduced himself as well, but he looked at him with a perplexed gaze.

"What's with that look, kid? C'mon, I'm being serious!" Sora noticed Akira didn't take him seriously.

"Really? Or you're just a crazy suspicious dude, wandering around the woods just to scam people?" Akira raised his eyebrow holding suspicion while folding his arms.

"May this be my first and last, I am not! A bandit." Sora hit his head hard. Though, Sora didn't look like he was capable of teaching students based on his appearance.

"Made your point, that a bandit will try to scam you by claiming with lies. However, what are the chances of a bandit running naked?"

"Fair point." 

"Ok, enough about me getting chased by a giant feisty boar. The point is, I'm a more experienced warrior, for your information." Sora winked with a proud smile, while also making Akira uncomfortably struggle to look at him because he was naked.

"Yeah right! If you're so experienced then why are you running naked and couldn't defend yourself, experienced my ass." Akira thought he was bluffing because if he was strong, he could've faced off against the giant boar by himself without any help.

"Ouch, your words are razor-sharp, be careful, and also, I'm not old. I'm 34 years old, and my white hair is just a genetic trait." Sora explained as his hair was just a genetic appearance from his family.

"Ok... So what do you know about teaching me?" Akira inquired, curious about what he had in store for him to learn.

"Well, I'm not a teaching expert, but I know a thing or two. Follow me to my place, it's not far from here!" Sora invited Akira to his home.

Akira felt suspicious and stared awkwardly as he was invited to his house with a naked man.

"Don't make me clobber you with that look! If you're not coming, then I'm going back alone." Sora rightly stared at Akira with a menacing glare after he felt that Akira thought of him as some sort of pedophile and was very annoyed because of how Akira treated him so suspiciously. Hence, he was naked. Akira then followed him to his home and kept his guard up.

After a long talk, they then went to Sora's place.

After 20 minutes of walking to Sora's place they Finally arrived.

"And... we're here!" Sora opened the door, and they entered a small house that was abandoned and damaged badly.

Sora's living room was just an empty room with just a table and a chair, with a chunk of bread left on a plate. His place was disorderly organized.

Akira saw his place was a mess. His place was in poor condition, with dust everywhere. The floor was damaged, and so was the window.

Sora sighed deeply and said it was pretty lonely. He had lived here since 2 weeks ago. They entered, and Sora told Akira to wait. Sora put his clothes back on, and then they went outside and started training.

"So, for your first lesson is: check your system!" Sora pointed at him with a small wooden stick.

"Ok... system!"

The system screen appeared.

"Now, what's next?"

"Have you checked your skills yet?"

"Ah... about that..." Akira stood silent because of all the thoughts he had gone through; he had forgotten he had skills. Akira's eyes twitched since all of his time was wasted on training, but he never thought of that. He rarely checked his system. It was because he wanted to know the results of his last training rather than check them every day.

"You forgot?! What can you do without your skills, dumbass." Sora was in disbelief at the moment. He thought he was missing combat skills or knowledge; instead, he just forgot he had systems. Basically, systems had their own encyclopedia, but Akira only heard about them from people who had systems.

Hehe, I didn't forget it; I was simply surprised by it because I wasn't paying attention when I started my workouts. My thoughts were distorted by training on occasion. I haven't paid much attention to my system in the past three years, but I've finally opened it. Now that you've reminded me, I recall." Akira laughed and patted his head.

Akira was flabbergasted by the skills he just unlocked. Blood manipulation had so many varieties that made him impressed.

Sora heard Akira saying blood manipulation and asked him if he had misheard that. Akira confirmed and his reaction was surprised. He didn't know that he was immortal, only guessed that his ability was blood magic.

Sora explained to check his skill info by shouting "System: Skill info". This way he could improve or strategize on the battlefield. He shouted "Skill info: Blood Manipulation" And the screen appeared.

Blood manipulation usage is to sharpen your weapons with blood and strengthen them to be more durable. Blood manipulation can also help to strengthen yourself by manipulating your blood and increasing your physical form. To use blood manipulation area of effect that it needs to use someone's blood or the user's. This can only be active when Blood manipulation (zone) is unlocked.

Usage of blood healing only uses the user's blood to provide healing for injured allies. The healing can only heal wounds and bruises, over time the power grows to its full potential and can even help the limbless or handicapped allies. (reminder: can not bring back the dead using this skill).

"The usage of this skill is to absorb or steal an enemy's blood and it requires an open wound to steal someone's blood. This skill is very beneficial for blood manipulation and blood (healing). This skill could also paralyze enemies for 2s (Only when blood paralysis is unlocked). The skill is activated when it hit an opponent, however, you cannot use it on higher ranks or someone special or divine type or type disadvantages."

"It's kinda funny how I need to train my butt off to gain a certain height for my system. Couldn't I just learn a blood slash if I already have blood manipulation? That would've been much more convenient." Akira was impressed that his skill wasn't as bad as he thought they were. He was a bit clueless why he need to follow the system's principle, he could have just learned any blood technique right off the bat.

Yawned and felt tired because of his training. Sora said to him to be prepared tomorrow after they had rested. Akira nodded and so they went to their bedroll.
