The God of Machines

Centuries prior, the Gods blessed this world with their magical powers, granting their abilities to everyone born from their lineage. Luckily, everyone is descended from a deity, but unfortunately, their power wanes with each generation, until the modern day, where the young generations cannot hope to become powerful. Lua Moonsilver is one of these younger generations. He is a Tinkerer descended from the God of Machines, and is very weak compared to his ancestors. He was destined to live out his days making toys. By unknown circumstances, Lua encounters a gem in a forest, that gets him into contact with one of these ancient Gods. He learns about the secret of evolution, granting him the priceless knowledge to become stronger.

A Common Day At The Wall

"You'll catch a cold if you keep staying out here." A voice resounded along the castle walls. A soldier who was watching over the walls turned around and saw a familiar face approaching him. He smiled and replied:

"Mr. Garin! Well, someone needs to watch over the wall…"

"You worry too much, Aleksei." Mr. Garin replied. "There's no beast crazy enough in this snowy tundra to dare mount an attack on the wall. Much like us, they're afraid of the cold."

Aleksei leaned on the railings of the wall. This 50-metre tall wall had railings instead of the usual brick walls. This was because the monsters in this region weren't known to be capable of utilising projectiles.

Aleksei replied to Garin with a smile:

"Still, if we get an inspection, it'll be all over for us."

"Such a stickler…" Garin chuckled.
