"Four moons?!" Lance was in pure shock. The sights alone on this planet were enough to make him excited.

Shelda Continued walking down the steps of the laboratory with Lance following slowly behind. "Yes, Our four moons are called; Josar, Rycor, Lodin, and Jatan. Each of these provides us with plenty of resources. Some are even inhabited by my people and intergalactic travelers."

"Wow, that's amazing. Can I travel to these moons?" Lance was very excited, he's never been off earth before, and now hearing about moons he could travel to.

"Yes, of course. Though you'll need a fair bit of money." Shelda kept watching Lance. He was a peculiar being to her, he looked like other male humanoids she has seen before, but something about him was different and she couldn't figure out what. "Anyways, we are heading to the Galorian Intergalactic Association. There you will be directed to Job opportunities, and given temporary residency."

Lance was listening but kept his eyes wandering the cityscape. Back home he has been to several big cities, like Ottawa and New York, but this city was different. Some cars hovered for starters, billboards, and signs that were holographic displays. Even the street lights were highly advanced, floating in thin air and changing pictures or colors as if by magic. It was his first time seeing an alien civilization, and it was breathtaking. "Oh, Okay. Thank you so much!"

The city was massive, Lance couldn't tell exactly how large. There was a mixture of tall and small buildings, the taller ones had to be a couple of hundreds of floors, Lance thought. All the buildings were very angular, Some in unique shapes such as star figurations. The City was also bustling. Countless people were walking the streets. Mostly the native Galorians, but other species as well. Lance could see people that were half-animal, half-humanoids. Some looked like they just walked out of the ocean. And some that were so small, he could barely see them in the crowd.

"That's the Galorian Intergalactic Association in front of us." Shelda pointed to a domed building. What it lacked in height, it made up for with its sheer size. It had people walking in and out constantly. As they reached the front doors, they opened up automatically and let the couple stroll on through.

Lance was just awestruck, Rendered speechless. But that couldn't even hide his excitement. With 200 experience, he was anticipating how he will spend it. He was also looking forward to this grand new adventure he was embarking on.

'If you want to become a squire, I detect a job listing for Guard Service Training. That's what you're looking for'. Vixen chimed in to at least try to make Lance seem smart to the people he will deal with at the Association.

Lance and Shelda walked up the stairs to the front doors. He saw many more species coming and going as they reached the doors. Shelda opened the door and the pair headed inside. The front foyer was massive, it was filled with many different types of aliens as well as a huge glass ceiling that lit up the whole room. There were fish tanks with fish Lance had never seen before, and all the colors of the rainbow, and so many more colors. Most had fins that he was used to seeing, but some had tentacles, and one he thought had real legs. Scattered throughout were many types of flora, trees that almost reached the roof, and very inviting flowers. After taking in all the sights, the pair walked up to the front desk together. Shelda turns to Lance, "This is the end of the tour. The receptionist will help you with the rest of your needs. I'm heading back to my lab. It was nice to meet you..... Ummm. I never did get your name."

Lance stopped paying attention again as he took in his surroundings. He looked at Shelda and saw her staring at him. "Oh, it's Rene."

"Well, It was nice to meet you. Good luck with your future endeavors." With that, Shelda turned and walked away, almost sprinting away. Guess she wanted to get away from this strange being before she made a mistake.

"Hello, Welcome to Galorian Intergalactic Association. Are you a new arrival?" A young male Galorian sat behind the desk and tried to get Lance's attention.

"Oh, hi. Yes, just arrived today from the lab." Lance turned to the receptionist to interact with them when suddenly a window popped up in his view.

'Oh! A new quest, Neat!' Lance was losing focus again as he read the new quest information.

"So we have accommodations ready for you. And we have three job postings currently available. The Jobs are; Guard Service Training, City Repair Training, And Librarian. May I get your name first?" The receptionist was looking at Lance, smiling gently.

"Huh? Oh!" Lance was too focused on the interface and lost track of what was going on. "I'd like to join the City Guard, please. And my name is Rene Knight."

"Ok, I will register you right away. One moment please." The receptionist starts typing away on the computer in front of him. "Ok, you are now registered. Your person of contact is Guard Elandra, and your residence is in block B." The receptionist opens a drawer and grabs a tablet with a map from within and places it on the counter. He pointed to a building that looked like a few blocks away and a blue circle appeared around it, "Here's where your residence is, and here is the location of Guard Training Center." Two circles were on the map with a neat little path to each destination. "Oh, and your residence is free for the first 30 days after which, it is 600 UAC every 30 days. I hope you have a nice day Mister Knight." The receptionist smiles and hands the map to Lance.

"Thank you, You as well." Lance took the map and walks out of the building. 'Hey Vixen, I wanna head right to the guard, is that ok?'

'Of course, the stronger you become, the better.' Vixen was pleased with his way of thinking.

Lance didn't say anymore. He followed the map and started walking in the direction of the Guard facilities.

"Haaaa!"

"Yaaaa!"

"Shaaa!"

Sounds of a large group of people training could be heard as Lance entered the training grounds. Many different races were in groups, all wielding swords, spears, knives, or other weapons. With every slash, they let out a battle cry.

"Who are you and what the hell are you doing in my training facility?" A strong voice sounded behind Lance. He turned around and saw a tall, buff woman standing behind him. This was Elandra. She stood at 5 foot 11 inches, with short orange hair. Her blue skin gives her race away. The trait that stood out most was a scar on her right eye, it looked like claws scratched her.

"Are you Guard Elandra?" Lance was taken aback, the woman before him looked like she could squash him with just her pinky.

"I am, but that doesn't answer my question! either answer me or lose a leg, your choice!" Elandra was angry.

"I'm Rene Knight, and I'm here for guard training!" Lance rushed his speech, shaking at the thought of what this woman could do to him.

Elandra started rubbing her temples, "Why must they send me such weak people all the time." She shook her head and then looked at Lance. "Fine, grab a uniform and a weapon. But I don't expect you to leave here in one piece today!" She pointed to a tent not too far.

Lance hurried over to the tent, wanting to get away from such a scary person. Vixen could be seen rolling around laughing at him, 'The hell you laughing at pipsqueak?'

'You're scared of a woman, That's just too funny. God, you're so weak!' Vixen started wiping away the tears as she spoke.

'Whatever!' Lance ignored Vixen. He rushed into a small building that housed the gear for all the trainees. He quickly grabbed a uniform from the shelf and changed. Before leaving he grabbed a short sword and hurried out. His feet moved fast as he ran back to Elandra.

"At least you have some spunk! Now fall in line." Elandra pointed to a group of other recruits and Lance quickly ran over and joined them.

Some time passed and the suns were beginning to set. With the basic training finished, The recruits lined up in front of Elandra. "Good work today! Everyone who made it this far is officially part of the Guard Training squad. I will see you all, bright and early tomorrow." With that, she left.

Cheers and cries could be heard from the others in his group as the crowd started to disperse. A new notification popped up in his view.
