34. I'm Reaching For The Top.

Lance watched Tiffany's hands move with purpose. Everything she was doing, had a reason. She started working on the chest plate, adding fine details while explaining her thought process.

The Leather chest piece looked plain in the beginning. It opened in the front and was more like a vest. Tiffany added jewels as buttons, A runic letter on each one. The jewels she used were Onix quarts. She then drew some lines on the front for pockets and something else. She started with stitching the pockets by hand, then she grabbed some leather strips and sewed some pockets for small blades. She added the short sleeves with some more blade pockets and placed the chest piece to the side.

She then grabs the pants and starts adding gems and strings to them. She added a few pockets and placed those to the side.

The gauntlets were the quickest and easiest. She added multiple different color gems, from red rubies to blue sapphires. She also added two hidden knife compartments, one in each.

Lastly were the boots. She had to add some of her supply of leather soles and some metal plates. She made the soles first with metal plates between two thick pieces of leather. She bends some metal plates for toe covers and added them to the soles. Then stitch the leather to the soles and finish the boots off. With the boots almost finish, all that's left is the final details.

"So, with the boots, I focused on giving you some raw strength to do damage, hence all the carbon steel." She added the Onix quarts to the boots and adds the laces. With all the pieces finished, she lays them neatly on the workbench and lets Lance inspect her work.

Lane walks over and looks at the armor. To him, they were beautiful. All the pieces were dark brown, almost black leather. The gems complimented the dark shade. They were of high quality, that was obvious.

Night Wolf Leather Chest (Rare)

Leather pants made from a Beta wolf. The swiftness of the Beta wolf has imbued these pants with her speed.

+2 Charisma

Effect: Increases Sneak Attack by 50%.

These gauntlets were made from the hide of a Beta and Alpha wolf. Their ability to ambush their prey has given them a surprise advantage.

Attack Damage: 35 - 50

+7 Strength

+2 Dexterity

+2 Charisma

Effect: The metal in these boots makes you immune to traps.

Boots made from Wolf hide. These boots are strong and durable. Even when traps are hard to see, these boots will still protect you.

Lance's eyes sparkled. With these, He wouldn't have anything to fear for a long time, at least until he had to go somewhere more dangerous.

'Yes! Another sub-class!' Lance was excited. Now he can also craft armor, He just needed all the materials now and he will be well off for a very long time.

"Thank you, If you'll make equipment like this for me more often, I won't hesitate." Lance smiled and pocketed the number. He then grabbed his new gear and left the shop. 'Guess it's time we call it.' Lance looked to Vixen who started to stretch and yawn.

'I say so. Who knows, maybe tomorrow you'll be able to beat Elandra.' Vixen laughed a little at the thought.

'You never know.' Lance laughed as well.

As they headed back to the apartment, Lance decided to dump all his experience into Clothier.

'Now I won't have to worry about my equipment breaking on me.' Lance quite liked having these two sub-classes. 'Hey Vix, how come I can have both on at once?' Generally curious, it seemed weird to have both at once and get their benefits.

'Oh, Did I forget to mention that before?' Vixen scratched her head in embarrassment. 'You see Classes and Sub-Classes stack, so to speak. Sub-Classes you'll always get the full benefits from, think of them as knowledge base classes. You can't forget what you learn, so you just keep learning more.'

'Okay, That makes some sense. What about classes?' He hasn't gotten a second one yet to try it out, nor has he advanced. But learning now couldn't be too bad.

'That is a little bit more tricky. Classes work the same as sub-classes, you'll always have them active. But their benefits will be reduced. There are five known classes right now, and countless sub-classes. You can theoretically have them all.' Vixen felt that if Lance did achieve gaining all the different classes, He would be unstoppable.

The pair arrived at their apartment building and headed inside. Lance was thinking deeply about all the information he just got. He figured that his attribute points could be saved for a little longer while he figured out how he wanted to fight. "Hey Vix, I just thought of something."

Vixen looked at Lance "Hmmm? And what's that?"

"Does anyone else have a system like this?"

Just like that, Vixen froze. Like a video game freezing up or a video stopping, she just floated there, motionless. Minutes seemed to pass before she finally spoke. "I..... Honestly don't know. My creators made multiple copies of programs like me. As for if they integrated them into other hosts is beyond me."

"What do you mean you don't know? How can you not?" Lance was puzzled. Could he be the only one? If so, why only him?
