The Last Two Days Until The Exam:

Ten hours after meeting the woman on the rooftop, I'm currently sitting on my bed barely awake. A couple of hours ago I warned Rebecca and Sally about the weapon situation. And the one hour time limit.

We've come to the conclusion to ignore the woman's information, We plan on training in a forest this morning, It's currently 4 AM and in three hours we're heading to a forest just North of the school, its a different forest from the one where I met Null.

Rebecca brought up the sparring idea, because she wanted our teamwork to be fluent and precise. I tried to explain to her that sparring for two days wouldn't improve our teamwork dramatically, but she didn't listen,

I guess I'll figure out more about Rebecca's ability after this sparring session. I know that she can control the properties of an element but I doubt the ability is as strong as it sounds. There's a reason she's in the fourth school.

In the blink of an eye three hours quickly pass. After I take a shower and get dressed, I'm walking towards the forest wearing a hoodie and baggy pants with black shoes. It's currently October.

The weather is getting so cold, it's almost unbearable, I take a deep breath as I enter the forest, red and yellow leaves lay on the ground as I step on them making a loud crunch,

Rebecca said to meet her and Sally on a dirt path, There's only one pathway into this forest and I'm currently walking on it, I start looking around before noticing a pile of leaves stacked up,

I stare at the pile of leaves until I hear a loud leaf crunch on my right. I turn my head to the right and see Rebecca standing in a clearing in the middle of the forest. The ground was vacant of leaves, that pile must have been her clearing the ground.

She still hasn't noticed me, so let's try something out. I start slowly start approaching the unknowing Rebecca standing on my toes. I gently walk on the ground masking my body behind the spare trees.

I hide behind a tree before I kneel down grabbing onto a small rock. I spin the rock in my palm using my fingers as I stare at Rebecca before I chuck the rock at a tree that's right behind her.

The rock slammed into the trees bark making a loud crack. Rebecca's face contorts as she looks at the noise confused. Using this chance I lunge toward her and leap into the air. My body sails through the air before I land behind confused Rebecca.

I reach out towards her shoulder trying to scare her but, as soon as my fingers get an inch away from her right shoulder, her shoulder jerks towards the left as she spins through an overhand at me.

I stare at the punch hurled towards me until I lean to my right slipping the punch as it grazes the left side of my face.

" What type of greeting is that Rebecca? "

I say to her with a smile on my face. Her eyes widen as she looks at my face, before she pulls her hand back dropping it to her waist.

" You're one to talk about greetings. You just tried to scare me. If it wasn't for my ability you would probably have got me. "

She says looking at me while shaking her head. If it wasn't for her ability? I stare at her confused by her remark. She stares at me looking at my confused face until she talks again explaining herself.

" I have the ability to control the properties of elements, so I regularly manipulate the oxygen around my body creating a barrier. If anything gets an inch too close to my body, I can sense it. "

That's how she noticed me, I nod my head before I hear footsteps approaching us, I turn my head towards the dirt path before seeing Sally walking towards us waving her hand.

She stands next to us, before Rebecca speaks.

" Before we spar, I think it would be a good idea. To fully explain our abilities to each other. I'll start and you'll follow up after me Sally. "

Sally nodded her head at Rebecca, before Rebecca continued to talk.

" My ability lets me manipulate elements, Its a pulsating type but I can only control one element at a time. If I want to control carbon, I first need to stop controlling another element such as oxygen. My ability makes my body extremely brittle. A solid punch to my arm will completely shatter it."

She stares at me after she finishes talking. So if she uses another element, that barrier of oxygen around her body will disappear making her susceptible to attacks. I nod my head at Rebecca.

They are clearly only explaining their abilities to me. They are sisters so it wouldn't make sense if they didn't already know each other's abilities. Sally starts talking to me in a soft quiet voice.

" My ability is healing, it's a leeching type. I can heal all physical attacks but I can't heal status attacks such as poison or paralysis, I have to have contact with you to heal. The main weakness of my ability is that it makes my body weak, that's why I talk in such a quiet voice."

Healing is a useful ability, but this group has a major problem. I'm the only person who can fight hand to hand. The other groups are going to pick up on that, and target Rebecca and Sally, but it's my turn to explain my ability.

I guess telling the truth about my ability wouldn't hurt. Of course I can't bring up Null removing my ability.

" My ability makes one forget who I am. It's a leeching type. Once I come into contact with someone, my energy invades their body and enters their minds. After 24 hours the victim will forget who I am.

Rebecca and Sally stare at me with widened eyes, before they glance at each other and a grin appears on Rebecca's face before she speaks to me.

" You really are a criminal. There is no telling what type of evil deeds you have done with an ability like that. But how come we haven't forgotten who you were? "

" My ability has started to act strange. Truthfully I didn't worry about you blackmailing me because I thought you would forget who I was but for some reason my ability has stopped working. "

I explain to her, I'm telling her a half truth, half lie. I truly didn't think she would remember me that day but I already know what's wrong with my ability.

" Looks like you got unlucky David with us, but let me show you an ability that will benefit you greatly "

Said Rebecca grabbing onto my forearm, I looked at her confused until suddenly my breathing slowed and my mind became more clear, my body feels stronger and more flexible.

" I'm controlling the oxygen in your blood stream more proficiently, it should make you move faster and stronger, but I can only control the oxygen in your blood stream if you're close to me, so if you get too far away from me, I will lose control and your body will return to normal. My maximum range of control is around 60 feet. "

Rebecca says this to me with a grin on her face. She lets go of my forearm as my body returns to normal. She takes a step back before she talks again.

" We've explained our abilities to each other, so let the sparring begin. It's going to be one massive free for all. "

We glare at each other until both Rebecca and Sally come charging towards me. I grin as I dash back away from the charging sisters. It looks like they didn't want to improve our teamwork they wanted to improve their hand to hand...
