The world is truly lonely, especially when you've been forgotten, A man named David is constantly forgotten due to his ability, He lives a life of loneliness until He meets a man in a forest,
As the two sisters chase after me, I observe their movements closely. Rebecca is faster than Sally. Rebecca's muscles are more defined, while Sally is falling behind due to her lack of speed.
I stop dashing back coming to a sliding stop. Rebecca slams her lead leg into the soil throwing a punch. The punch is sloppy. I pivot to my right and load back my right fist.
Rebecca's body stumbles past me as her punch missed. She drops her hand when she throws a punch leaving her chin wide open. I throw a right hand toward her chin before in the corner of my eye, I see a silhouette dashed towards me.
I turn my head and stare at Sally throwing a kick. I feint the punch heading towards Rebecca's chin and bunch my arms together blocking the kick.
I reach out and grab onto Sally's heel, I start walking forward holding her leg in the air, she hops back on her hind leg with a worried look on her face.
I throw a powerful kick that slams into her rear leg. She yells out in pain while falling back first to the ground. She scurries trying to stand back up, but I lunge forward throwing a lightning fast kick towards her skull.
She crosses her arms and blocks the kick but the force of the kick propels her body back onto the ground. She grits her teeth in pain before she rolls back up on her feet.
I take a deep breath before I feel the wind hit my face, I glance to my left as a punch slams into my chin knocking my head back, I stagger back before I look forward and stare at Rebecca in a fighting stance,
The punch was pretty weak nothing to threatening but the stance she's using is the same as mine. Is she trying to copy my movements? I grin at her as she lunges at me throwing a punch.
I dodge the punch from Rebecca by leaning to my left. I step forward with my leading leg while bending my knees to throw a blow to her liver. However, just as my fist inches closer to her body, a sudden and intense pain shoots through my side.
My body is blown back as my feet slide on the ground. I come to a grinding stop before I turn to my left and see Sally holding her leg up in the air.
" What happened to a free for all? "
I yell out as Sally places her leg back on the ground, Rebecca runs past her with a grin on her face, she skips off the ground before throwing a wild punch, I pivot to my left as the punch misses and slams into a tree behind me, a loud bang ripples through the air,
Rebecca pushes off the tree throwing another wild haymaker. I block the haymaker turning my body with the punch lessening the impact. I throw a quick light jab that slams into Rebecca's nose.
Even with the jab being so light, the punch still busts open her nose, blood gushing out drenching her face in blood.
She wasn't lying about her body being brittle if such a light punch busted open her nose there's no telling what a powerful overhand would do if landed.
Rebecca dashes away from me to gain space. Rebecca stares at me as her sister walks over to her and stands next to her.
Looks like the first barrage of their attacks is done. They stand there catching their breaths. I take a deep breath before grabbing onto my hoodie and sliding it off.
I toss my hoodie on the ground and get into a stance.
Rebecca stares at my posture before fixing her legs, trying to mimic my stance. She can try to copy my fighting style all she wants, but my style is far too unorthodox to copy.
" Are you ready to begin round two David? "
Yells out Rebecca as she starts to lunge forward until she suddenly hesitates, stopping her movements. She extends her hand to the side slapping Sally's arm as Sally runs past her.
Sally takes a final step before suddenly veins appear on her legs and she shoots forward, Her movements are much faster, she swiftly closes the distance in a matter of seconds and throws a powerful punch. I pivot my body to avoid the blow, yet it still connects with my right shoulder.
A sharp pain engulfs my body as my shoes slide across the grass coming to a grinding stop.
I started moving my shoulder in right a circular motion gritting my teeth in pain, I think she tore some of my shoulders muscles with that punch, I stare at Sally until I notice her arm shaking, I look down at her knuckles and see that their dark purple,
Her body must be too weak to handle the abrupt increase in power. I start slowly walking towards Sally while she grips onto her wrist in pain.
I look above Sally's head and see Rebecca sprinting towards me recklessly. She sprints past Sally and throws a sloppy punch. I stare at the punch approaching me until I notice Sally sprinting away. I block the punch and throw a jab.
She slips the jab and throws an overhand, I dash back as the punch misses, she stumbles forward from throwing the punch off balance, I grip my fist tightly before I twist my body throwing a right hook, the right hook slams into her jaw,
Her eyes go blank as she collapses on my right shoulder. I'm about to push her off my body before I feel her arms wrap around my torso. I stare down at Rebecca as she looks up at me barely conscious, I smack my lips as I thrust my right shoulder forward slamming it into her mouth.
She staggers back before I throw a light jab that barely grazes her jaw, but the brittleness of her neck makes her head rock back before she collapses on the ground unconscious.
I take a deep breath and stare down at Rebecca's motionless body until my eyes widen as the sound of light footsteps behind me enters my ears.
I swiftly turn around and spot Sally with her fist loaded back, her blonde hair blowing in the wind. The wounds on her knuckles have healed. She must have healed herself when she ran away.
I stare at her fist before it flickers and a sharp pain engulfs my chest. I feel energy ripple through my stomach before my body is blown off the ground hurling through the air. I repeatedly bounce off the ground before I slam into an oak tree.
I vomit blood as my consciousness flickers in and out. My vision is hazy. I try to push myself up off the ground before sharp pain engulfs my entire body. I would have passed out if the pain wasn't so intense.
I cover my mouth while blood leaks between my fingers. That punch surely broke some of my ribs. I grab onto my stomach as intense pain circulates through my body.
I place one of my feet on the ground and get into a kneeling position. I look to my right and see Sally on her knees. Holding onto her right arm. Her right arm is mangled with blood leaking out while flesh sticks out.
I shake my head as I gingerly stand back up and start limping over towards the kneeling Sally. She hears my footsteps. And looks up in shock.
" How are you still conscious?"
She says in a painstacking voice. I shake my head as I sit down next to her breathing heavily.
" I'm not sure myself but when you're done healing your arm, please heal my ribs, I'm pretty sure you shattered them into dust with that punch. "
I say to her with a bloody grin on my face. She looks at me concerned before she suddenly stops holding her mangled arm and places her hand on my chest.
" Thank you, "
I say to her as a wave of relief engulfs my body. I look over to my right and see Rebecca lying on her back unconscious. She is still knocked out? I held back my punches so she barely took any damage. How is she still knocked out? I stare at her until Sally quietly speaks to me.
" Rebecca didn't get knocked out by your punches. Her lack of energy makes her faint when she over uses her ability, that's the main reason she is in the fourth school like me. "
We fought for around 15 minutes and she passed out. If what that woman on the rooftop said is true, then Rebecca's stamina is going to be a problem for us. I look over at Sally before talking.
" Why are you in the fourth school Sally? Your ability is pretty useful. "
She looked at me with an embarrassed look before she shook her head and sighed.
"Because I was too quiet and didn't get involved with any of the exams, I don't like talking that much and that came back to haunt me."
I scoff at her while shaking my head. She looks at me confused until I speak.
" You don't like talking yet, you're talking to me right now. "
" Well you seem like a good person for the most part, so I feel comfortable talking to you. "
She says to me.
" Don't believe your instincts, I'm a terrible person" I say laughing to myself painfully...
