Chapter 50: Mission

" This training is becoming much more simple, or let me say easy." Timmy said whole laughing.

" Yeah you can say that after being able to defeat an advance tier beast on your own." James said

" We are still far from Bright, we don't know when he will be back, it would have being fun of he was with us right now. Too bad he will sulk now when he finds out we are now stronger than him." Sam said with a sad tone.

The atmosphere immediately changed from the happy mood from their recent victory to one of sadness due to a missing brother.

" Cough, cough... Miss Abbie said we should all focus on getting stronger, that it's likely for him to also grow stronger where he is, don't forget he gave us a gift to get stronger. Right now we should be able to take on some of the special students (rare genes) on our own, but we are nothing close to the top ten special students." Noah said.

" Let's think about our faults and mistakes in the recent battle, so we can evolve more in our skills." He added

They all Sat in circle on a sandy terrain on a planet named Satum, they were talking about their previous battle against the beasts they just defeated.

Planet Satum( not Saturn o) is a planet known for its sandy terrain, you cannot see any water or aquatic life forms, no rock aside different hills made of sand, no bushy terrain on the planet also. The planter is filled with creatures like snakes, large ant beasts, rat beasts, centipedes and the planet is ruled by a snail beast, known for its sturdy shell.

The snail is in the hyper tier, it feeds on the sand of the planet and it's rarely seen attacking, it is as large as a small mountain. It's iconic attack is being able to control other beasts that are not as strong as it, to do it's bidding. It's hiss has a powerful influence on weaker creatures, it's ability is just like mind control but not really mind control.

The boys just defeated four snake beasts at the advance tier, the snakes has the ability to control the sand, they make the sand swallow preys while they sink into it and devour the prey, the are able to go deep into the sand and sneak attack preys who are oblivious of them. They also have a breathe attack by forming sands in their mouth in the shape of a dart and a solid spike.

The boys were attacked on their way, searching for crystals, they had to split themselves to fight the beasts, though it wasn't much of an hassle, it was a little bit tough, because the beast are in the middle stage of the advance tier.

" What is he doing since, wake up kid." Lucin shouted, trying to reach out to Bright.

They had bee trying to wake him from his meditative State for what seems to be n hour.

Flashback ~~~

Bright sat in a meditating manner and ordered the system to set a seven days timer , he decided to visit the guardian beasts in the separate space, but unknowingly for him the were going to probe him.

' lad wait, it's a bad timing.' the blade shouted, trying to warn him of what's to come, but it was too late.

Bright's ethereal form appeared in the separate space, he was greeted by the guardian beasts, not in a friendly manner, killing intent exudes from the trio, making him take few steps backwards in awe.

His real body was exuding different kinds of aura due to the battle going on in the separate space.

Presently ~~~

" It's remaining one minute, if he doesn't wakes up then it's not our fault, he has already caused a lot damage. Thanks to our mother, he didn't kill anyone." The rock man said, he was summoned due to Bright's energy going rogue.

' if this is what is energy alone can do, what will happen if he himself goes rogue??' The rock man thought while looking around at the destroyed dungeon.

The bars and walls of the dungeon are all destroyed, due to the energy from the rage mode of Bright's true form. His energy shook the very foundation of the dungeon, they were able to push it back with the help of Lucin and the rock man, using an energy sucking crystal.

Bright opened his eyes immediately it hit the last second, his eyes glowed for few seconds before returning back to normal.

" Weird." Lucin muttered.

" Oh you're here, I thought I would have to go rogue to bring you here. " Bright said with a smile on his face though he was exhausted.

" As if you haven't gone rogue already, I can't believe I was locked up with a time bomb, a mad kid who can't control his energy." Lucin complained

" Why the harsh words??" Bright asked, surprised at the man's words.

" Take a look around and see for yourself." Lucin hissed.

" What the....I seriously did this??" Bright questioned while looking around. He is sitting in a crater ducked by his energy's outburst.

' Was this the after effect of the battle in the separate space, how??' He thought

" This was the effect of you being pushed to the extreme and you unleashing your rage mode." The system said.

' what would have happened if I actually entered that mode in the the real world??' he gulped at the thought.

- the rage mode isn't something you can unleash at will, there must be a trigger.- the blade answered.

- the stronger you become the stronger your true form becomes.- the blade added.

" I'm sorry, it wasn't intentional, something came up

....err, I was testing one of my skills but lost control, very sorry." Bright pleaded.

" The leader has decided to forgive you on one condition." The rock man said .

" Why could that be??" Bright asked

" You'll have to meet him first." The man replied and turned to leave

Bright and Lucin followed behind.

" I hope your actions doesn't make things harder for us." Lucin said.

Getting to what look like a throne room, there the leader with a staff on his hand. By his right hand, stood the man covered in robe, guards were stationed along the pathway that lead to the throne. It was set like the throne rooms of ancient china with people who dressed like chiefs.

Bright and Lucin were led by the rock man to the lower part of the throne, the rock man knelt down in obeisance to his leader.

" You can rise Rad." The leader said.

All eyes then turned to bright and Lucin who could be seen standing, the people there began mumuring.

" How dare they stand in the presence of the light lord."

" Such insolence, they should be thrown to the land of no return."

" Someone should get out there and knock them off their feet."

The mumuring became loud, that the leader had to slam the staff on his hand into the ground. Silence reigned.

" Leave them alone, they're strangers that doesn't know anything about our tradition." The light lord said.

The leader then fixated his eyes on the duo, who both crossed their arms. He exuded the aura of a pro level.

' I can see he broke through after all.' Bright thought.

' what's with the show off.' Lucin thought.

" I guess you know the reason why you're here??" The leader said

" You have caused damage to our dungeon which has to be reconstructed, but as we all know, you have no means of paying for the debt and you all well knows that we can't just let you go after incurring damages." He added.

" So??" Bright asked.

" You will be given a mission to accomplish, the toughness depends on your capabilities." The lord said

" Your strategy helped alot, but it made the enemy release their stringer forces, though we seized victories . " The leader continued.

" Please kindly cut to the chase and go straight to the point." Lucin interrupted impatiently, he doesn't like where the conversation is heading to.

" Hmm, it's very easy, you are to help us defeat two beings which are as strong as my general here. They have their different skills, it's likely for you not to survive....." He paused while studying their expression.

Bright and Lucin looked on with obtusely indifference.

" Is that all we are to do??" Lucin asked

" Yes." The leader answered

" Then count it done, we have no other choice." Lucin replied and decided to head out.

" Give us the direction to their location and count it done." Bright said.

" Let me inform you, we won't risk our lives for you, once we feel like our lives are on the line, we will make a run for it." He added and also turned to leave.

The court or let me say the throne room was silent again.
