Unexpected Confession
AYAN'S POV
I went to sit down at a seat in the sitting area of the room as the tears continued to pour out of my eyes. I was really hoping the General and I could come to some peaceful resolution.
The reason I wanted somewhat of an amicable relationship with him was because I wanted the chance to see Laika, Kaylee, and Yema again. I wanted to thank Laika in person for speaking up for me and defending me in court. However, I'd probably ruined everything after having slapped the General. I couldn't help it though, he was asking for it. He kept belittling and bullying me.
I suppose I would just have to forget about seeing Laika and the others any time soon. But I hoped they were doing well considering they still lived with the General.
