"I always found it strange how you were chosen by the prince to dance at the ball and then suddenly the following day at the festival you helped him with the Serena situation. You were trying to impress the Emperor all along, weren't you? You had Serena fired intentionally so you could take over her job. You knew what you were doing."

"That's ridiculous! Do you have any idea what you're accusing me of? How can you even say that?" I asked him shocked by the conclusions he was coming to.

"How can I not think that when you suddenly say you don't love me and want to stay in the palace with the Emperor? Not to mention you're being oddly argumentative you've never been like this."
