After the death of the last angel, the war of extermination against the Sun Church came to an end. The final traces of the Sun Lord's authority over the Helix Continent faded, but that did not mean things were truly over.
The aftermath of such a monumental conflict required careful attention. The Sun Church's wealth was massive, to say the least. While much had been destroyed during the war, a significant portion remained intact. The spoils of war needed to be divided swiftly to prevent any disputes or problems from arising later.
