*MUMBLE MUMBLE MUMBLE

*SIGH

Let's forget that terrible comedy and put it in the Recycle Bin, I had made my way back to Frontier City, the capital of the Frontier Zone, a wave of relief washed over me.

The city's towering walls, lined with formidable defenses, offered a sense of security amidst the vast desert that surrounded it. After successfully upgrading my android body's mana battery, I craved respite and a chance to lay low before venturing into the Adventurer Guild once more.

The sight of Frontier City never failed to amaze me. Rising like a mirage in the middle of the arid expanse, its futuristic architecture stood in stark contrast to the barren desert that stretched as far as the eye could see. The city buzzed with energy, a testament to the indomitable spirit of its inhabitants.

Approaching the towering walls, I marveled at the line of large Magic Gatling Guns adorning the defenses. These fearsome weapons fired rapid-fire bursts of mana energy bullets, capable of tearing through any threat that dared to approach. Their continuous barrage formed an impenetrable shield, protecting the citizens within.

Moving closer, I observed the magic missile launchers, positioned strategically along the wall. These formidable devices unleashed larger and deadlier versions of the famed magic missile spell. With each launch, a surge of raw magical power would explode from the launchers, devastating any adversary caught in its path.

Entering the city through the massive gates, I was greeted by the hustle and bustle of daily life. People from all walks of life mingled in the streets, their conversations punctuated by the hum of technological advancements. The air crackled with anticipation and possibility.

I made my way to my hotel, seeking solace in its familiar walls. The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile, recognizing me as a regular customer. The cozy interior provided a haven from the scorching desert sun, allowing me to unwind and contemplate my next move.

As I settled into my room, the weight of recent battles and the demands of my journey began to fade.

After ordering room service, casted Soul Food, devoured all the dishes I ordered and finished off the desert, only then that I "feel so tired" and my soul weary.

The soft bed embraced my weary body, inviting rest and rejuvenation. After casting a Soul Sleep Spell, I closed my eyes, allowing the tranquil silence to wash over me, savoring the peace that accompanied my return to Frontier City.

Days turned into weeks as I laid low, content in the familiarity of the city.

I walked the bustling streets, observing the interplay of technology and magic that defined this frontier metropolis. Shops displayed the latest advancements in enchanted weaponry and futuristic gadgets, tempting passersby with promises of power and convenience.

One evening, as the setting sun cast a golden hue over the city, I found myself drawn to the walls once more. Standing at their base, I gazed up at the towering defenses, marveling at the sheer magnitude of their power. They represented more than just a physical barrier—they were a testament to the indomitable spirit of Frontier City.

Lost in thought, I watched as the very loud siren, a warning that the wall defenses are about to be used and then the Magic Gatling Guns unleashed their relentless barrage of mana energy bullets. The rapid-fire assault was a symphony of destruction, the echoes reverberating through the desert air. Each bullet symbolized the unwavering resolve of the city's defenders, an unyielding determination to safeguard their home.

A sudden hush fell over the city as the magic missile launchers then came to life.

The ground shook beneath my feet as the launchers unleashed their deadly payloads. The magic missiles soared through the sky, leaving trails of vibrant energy in their wake. The impact was cataclysmic, decimating any possible giant foe with an overwhelming display of magical might.

It seems the Frontier City Defense Force, is running a routine firing test, to make sure all the weapons are up and running, in case an imminent threat approaches.

In that moment, standing before the towering walls of Frontier City, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. The magic Gatling guns and the magic missile launchers represented not only the strength of the city's defenses but also the potential that lay within each of us. I, too, possessed the power to protect and defend, to push the boundaries of what was deemed possible.

With my spirit rekindled, I knew it was time to return to the Adventurer Guild.

I entered the Adventurer Guild and thought of something funny...

"HEY HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"HEY HOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"x10

*UPROARIOUS LAUGHTER ENSUING

During my high school days way back in the past, I discovered that similar minded rowdy people, have this kind of in sync way to create a friendly environment instantly, that even though you bloody don't know one another, but if you're one of those with the same mindset....you just go with the flow....nay you HAVE to go with the flow.

I just did my infamous greetings during those my said high school days, basically what I was doing was a test of some sorts to see, if another world was no different than my previous world.

It seems its not that different.

"You always create a ruckus everywhere you go, huh Deth?"

"Ms. Secra Tally, happy to see you! I'm here, Deth Jones to view any recent guild quests that are available, or any quest that hasn't been completed for a long time."

"Cocky bastard, okay you want something from the uncompleted lists huh? Here you go you fucking twat!"

People always mistake that Ms. Tarry was the "secretary" of Galvanizer Thomas, the Guildmaster, but its actually her real name....Ms. Tally's parents why you so cruel yo?

"Hmmm..."

I browsed the MagiTablet that she handed over, its a guild owned exclusive tablet that lists all available quests currently in the Guild. There are a lot of uncompleted quests, some takes them to dungeons that mostly inhabited by the dead.

There are also some requests to close of dungeons, there are different kinds of dungeons and the most dangerous ones are Instant Dungeons, dungeon portals that mutate and emit strong dungeon energy that it influences the area around where it sprouted.

You need to beat the Mini-Boss, Dungeon Boss and extract the Dungeon Quartz, its the thing that creates the dungeons in the first place....an accumulation of unknown dungeon energy, in solidified form.

Once extracted, the Dungeon Quartz turn into a high quality Mana Stone, an item coveted by everyone, as its considered priceless. Not only that its the main ingredient if you plan to create your own "Adventurer Group", like a guild within the Guild.

Using MagiTech, the Dungeon Quartz can be reused and is able to be "reprogrammed" into a private instant dungeon, but it needs to be registered to prevent the possible occurrence of a "Dungeon Overflow", a term used for when a dungeon portal that was not monitored and "cleaned" properly---meaning not reducing the monster or beast population in the dungeon, not doing so overpopulates the dungeon and "overflows" into our world....unleashing the monsters and beasts and wrecking havoc on the citizens and the properties.

Some idiots before, according to the unclassified internet files I found, did not register their having a Dungeon Quartz and secretly made an instant dungeon.

In the end, they weren't able to handle the population control, unleashing monsters in a city. The ones responsible got jailed or worst, and from then on Dungeon Quartz are now heavily monitored and anyone not registering their ownership....will suffer very dire consequences.

"Ms. Secra, I'll be taking the Instant Dungeon eradication at Biqo City, in the Far West."

"All right. Take this MagiCrystal Recorder, record the Dungeon Quartz, then return it here....decided if you want to sell it to the Guild or keep it on you, but you know the things that comes along with doing that right?"

"Yes. I'll decide when I finish the job and is your number still #777? All righto then!"

"Get the fuck outta here!! I already flagged the request as taken, good luck Adventurer....I hope you won't die out there....fucker."

The Adventurer Guild has their own emergency number, #777, anywhere you are if there is a report of a dungeon portal appearing or some illegal instant dungeon activity, the Guild switchboard will send in Adventurers to check things out or...take things out, if you know what I mean....hubba hubba hubba *wink wink.

"The Dungeon Overflow will happen in two weeks, Adventurer I hope you are able to accomplish this, as this is a Guild request by the Guildmaster, he can do it himself but he decided to test the mettle of his Adventurers....but so far they are all so disappointing."

"So the Guildmaster was the one "trimming the fat" until some Adventurer takes up the role in closing the instant dungeon?"

"No comment. Now do your job, you picked it so take responsibility."

"Aiyo, aiyo! I guess this Deth here will have to become the kind-hearted man that Ms. Secra is expecting and rid the world of a dangerous dungeon overflow.....*'sigh the things that a hero must do...."

"What fucking hero!? The Guild will pay you if you do the job, hero my ass."

"All right let's end it here, I'll be back before you know it."

"Yeah, yeah....I heard that lame excuse before....from thousand other braggers who took the job and end up failing."

"I'll succeed....you'll see."

I got out and kept the Quest Tab on my Inventory Space and went for the Public Market of Frontier City and the Adventurer Mall for some supplies.

After stocking up again on supplies, especially food supplies, I revved up my motorcycled sidecar, and traveled once again on the open road towards the Far West, where Biqo City is located....I don't have to be extremely popular among the people or on the internet, but making my skills and in clearing dungeons popular, now that something that needs to spread around.

So that when there is a job that needs an Adventurer, my name will on the top of that list....
