Crafovac nee MaScotch III

(I am not good with court proceedings, so bear with it)

"Case no. 11987e. Karen Whitehook vs Crafocac nee MaScotch, Domestic violence." The announcer announced today's proceedings.

"This case is being telecasted due to the participants being high profile, it was a media request, does anyone the accused or the accuser have any problem with that?" Silent echoed through the courtroom while Crafovac was scrolling through TikTok.

Suddenly his lap was slapped by his Sister on his side.

"What? I muted the sound for this." She just sat emotionlessly, not saying anything, just staring.

"Okay." He put down his phone back in his pocket and sat attentively, or it looked like he did.

"The accuser may take the stand" A woman came forward from Karen's side of the court with some documents in an envelope.

"My client, Karen Whitehook accuse the man Crafocac of domestic violence and defamation for being called an unfaithful partner, demeaning and violating the right to privacy of my client."

"And how does the accused plead." The judge asked aiming at Crafovac.

"Umm... Not guilty I guess." "We should have done our homework about the charges pressed again you, brother. I insisted you go to a lawyer but NO you had to come here and represent yourself." Crafovac's sister whispered to him loudly.

"May the accuser come forward with the charges and support their claims against Mr. MaScotch." (Bro I am really bad at this, but this is necessary for the plot, bear with me.)

"Yes, your honor. My client, Karen has her right to privacy violated the day before yesterday, September 13th when Mr. MaScotch burst into the office out of the window, pulling a stunt that resulted in Ms. Karen being cut with a glass shard, which comes on the grounds of assault and domestic violence as Ms. Karen and Mr. MaScotch were going to get engaged the day after. Als she has been demeaned on social media as a cheater while she was in the office for emotional support from her friend, her secretary, Todd.

Mr. MaScotch also burst open into a private meeting of the said friends which is again a breach of privacy."

"Defendant," The judge asked Cragovac to come forward with his side.

"Your honor, may I ask how early this case could be over ?" The audience booed at the utter lack of mannerisms against the judge but the old woman, the judge replied with a kind smile.

"As early as we have solid proof and the accused does not come with more charges against you, Mr. MaScotch."

"Thank you, now if your honor may you allow me to bring forth document 6AC235," He said after verifying the code on his side of the table" actually what's with the numbering of documents"

"This your honor is the reason why the building, the whole building was empty on the night of 13th of September, He pointed at the screen "Here you could see we were reconstructing whole floors of the buildings, a major reconstruction of one-tenth of the whole 20-floor skyscraper, and due to miss Karen's presence we are in loss of a whole 250 thousand US dollars in time and deadline dues."

"So we can't be tried against what we break while we serve this notice to everyone in the building, might I ask why Miss Karen was there in the first place when not even security was present in the empty building." Karen's lawyer was eyeing Karen for an answer as to why this document was not served to her before the trial.

"Miss Karen?" The judge asked Karen.

"I-I must have missed this in the pile of papers I go through daily. y-Yes that's it!"

"So you are saying a woman with a post-graduate degree in science, graduate studies in public sciences missed the big announcement which was compulsorily delivered to each floor as a whole was missed by you, you out of 1934 workers who also work at the same block as you?" MaScotch delivered the blow.

"Continuing your honor, the place where Ms. Karen was having sex at-"

"Objection! your honor, argumentative." The lawyer at Karen's side stood up. "Sustained. Mr. MaScotch, please."

"Well you made me do this, your honor may I request to for the playing of media_100113455.mp4" He again checked the serial number quite carefully.

"Permission granted." The screen lit up and the sight it revealed was an office, the gate opened with Karen kissing her secretary. And with that, they proceed to lemon on the table.

"YOUR HONOR THIS IS A BREACH OF PRIVACY! THIS IS A DEMEANING ACT AGAINST MY CLIENT!" Karen's feminist lawyer stood up and shouted in the courtroom.

"Stop this video at once" The video was removed from the player."May I ask Mr. MaScotch what was that?"

"That your honor was the CCTV footage how the personal office our company reserves in each of the buildings we make. That room is CCTVised and is locked down until one of the MaScotch is on tour. Whatever happens in that room is the personal business of the MaScotchs alone. Actually, with this, it is I who want answers as to why Ms. Karen graced her presence to the privatized room which is absolutely forbidden to enter with her gigolo."

The court remained silent with no counter.

"As for the last two charges, Domestic violence for the fact we were going to engage, really check your facts for once. The MaScotchs were not engaging their heir to Ms. KAren anytime sooner, or actually anytime at all. That is false info and I want to file a defamation case against her for calling me her fiance, that hurt me badly." A chuckle slipped by Crafovac's sister but within a second she came back to her ice-cold face.

"At last the assault charges, the building was set to demolish two whole floors, from what I can tell she was there to take advantage and bring down our name via a scandal, such as the one today. Due to the demolishing being delayed by a whole 3-days, our contract with Tesla constructions and transportation worth 40 million dollars became null and void, so I ask the court to ask her to compensate for the damages MaScotch international suffered due to her hoax." Saying this Crafovac returned to his seat. "You asked him to?" "Yeah, I gave him another one."

Suddenly Crafovac was in a daze, unmoving still with his eyed in the void.
