2. You are genderless right now and yes this is important because depending on what gender you choose will determine your final evolutionary path!
3. As I pointed out in number 1 the more you kill the more evolution points you get, which is not affected by how much you eat so you don't need to worry about something stupid like "biomass points".
anyway what you do need to know is that you AI comes with a system shop that allows you to buy stuff out of thin air to further help you on your conquest journey! For example, it's kind of hard to grow a Xeno army if you're not a queen, right? No problem, you can buy eggs!
