Less than a gun

Let's be honest here, did you really expect that to happen?

.

"You know," Six sighed as he glared at Mineta who was stock still, "If it were up to me, you'd be dead where you stand."

"I-"

"I don't want to hear it," Six growled, scaring Mineta even more. "Now, march. We're heading straight to Nezu's office."

.

The grape-headed boy started to walk stiffly. Then to make him understand the situation, Six booted him a few times to get him moving. The students who saw the two broke into whispers since Mineta's perversion reached the ears of the entire school. Seeing him being booted to the Principal's office by one of the most dangerous teachers currently in the school, made them pity the pervert. Not that he'll live after those two get through with him.

Not long after getting caught, the two found themselves in front of the principal's office. A dark presence emanated from the door that scared Mineta witless. Six just knocked on the door, ignoring the dark foreboding pressure. After getting a 'Come in' from Nezu who was inside, the two entered. After a while, Mineta's screams were heard throughout the school.

...

..

.

"Alright, listen up!" Six shouted as the assembled class of 1-A met in the common room of their dorms. "As you know, Mineta was found guilty and expelled. Why? I shouldn't have to tell you. You know him and what he did to upset a good portion of the school." Six told them as they all looked at one another. "But, him being expelled doesn't mean there will be an empty spot in the classroom and dorms. A student from one of the General Education classes will be chosen to replace Mineta. Please do know that the one chosen will be worthy of the spot. Now, any questions?"

.

As soon as Six asked if there were any questions, a few hands were raised.

.

"Mina, you first," Six chose, pointing to her.

"Will the new student be a boy or girl?" She asked.

"I don't know," Six answered then pointed to Ida. "Ida."

"Will we know beforehand when they will be chosen?" He asked, his hands doing a chopping motion.

"You will know when they are introduced to the class," Six answered then pointed to Denki. "Kaminari, you get the last question."

"Did Mineta get into legal trouble?" He asked, "I noticed that there was a police car here earlier today."

"Yes, yes he did," Six told them the truth. "I won't go into what he was charged with but know that he was arrested. Simple as that."

.

After knowing that the pervert was arrested, several of the girls sighed in relief as they didn't have to be on guard anymore around him. Denki, who hung out with Mineta a few times, shook his head at how far his fellow student had fallen. Six saw all the emotions they held in their eyes and posture and nodded his head. He dismissed them and headed off to his dorm to deal with more lesson plans he had to make.

However, little did Six know, the pervert would strike again. But, that would be just a small conflict and wouldn't matter to the story any more than a giant would care for an ant.

.

Six sighed as he sent in his lesson plans for the next month, hoping to get ahead of all the paperwork that needed to be done. As he leaned back in his chair, his mind wandered back to an old memory that seemed to appear out of nowhere.

Back in the Mojave, he had just stumbled upon a child looking around in the trash. Upon seeing Six, the child pulled a [.22 Pistol] on him.

...

..

.

[Flashback start]

"What are you doing?" I asked as I looked at the child whose hand was shaking as he held his gun. Unfazed at being at gunpoint.

"G-give me all your caps, n-now!" The child stuttered and spoke. Their hand was shaking, making their aim all over the place.

"Put the gun down, child," I spoke threateningly, my hand snaking its way to my holster.

"D-don't do that!" The child shouted as their eyes went to my hand that was resting on my revolver.

"Drop the gun, now," I ordered as I cocked the hammer back on my revolver, even though it was double-action. "I won't tell you again."

"I-i w-warn you, j-just hand over all your caps," The kid said before their hand trembled so much that they accidentally pulled the trigger.

.

My instincts won out and I drew and fired before I knew what I was doing. I watched as the kid's head rocketed back as part of their head became chunks. Blood and brain matter splattered the ground and the trashcan that the kid stood in front of. And I stood there, holding the smoking gun, literally.

I took a deep breath, my mask's filters blocking out the smell of blood and iron. I holstered my revolver and just looked upon the scene. The kid, no older than five, was dead on the ground. All because they met me. Anyone else would have been somewhat nervous at the fact that a loaded gun was pointed at them.

But, for me, it was just another day in the wasteland.

My eyes caught something about the kid. Something that I just noticed. The kid's arm was mangled and broken. From the marks, I could tell that this kid was a slave of the Fiends.

.

'Ashes to ashes, dust to dust. May your body nurture the earth and your soul be reborn in the next life with a happy and fruitful life,' I thought in a quick prayer for the child.

.

Then I turned on my heel and headed towards the nearest Fiend outpost.

No survivors were left on my small rampage.

[Flashback end]

...

..

.

Six sighed as the memory played out in his head as he looked out to the stars outside his window. As Six watched the stars outside his window, a knock resounded on his door. Getting up, Six made his way to the door and opened it, finding Nezu there.

.

"What do I owe this visit so late at night?" Six asked as the look on Nezu's face spoke louder than words.

"Mineta was pardoned for his crimes," He sighed and spoke, his words heavy with disappointment.

"How, it hasn't even been 24 hours?" Six asked in surprise.

"He's the bastard son of a politician," Nezu told Six. "Apparently, his father found out about him and pulled a few strings so that his name wouldn't be pulled through the mud."

"Great," Was the sarcastic reply.

...

..

.

"Move it, you maggots!" Six shouted at the top of his lungs as he drilled the students of Class 1-B. "If this is all you got, you'll never be heroes! Just dead weight waiting to be killed!"

.

Currently, 1-B was doing an obstacle course Six had Cementoss make. Since it got out that two students of 1-A were under house arrest, they, mainly Monoma, got cocky. So Six decided to bring them down a notch or two. Since then, the Class of 1-B glared at Monoma at every chance they got without Six seeing them.

Since he was the only one to watch the students of 1-B; bar Vlad King, Six took it upon himself to make sure they could handle a long and drawn-out fight by strengthening their stamina. While he did just that, the rest of the Hero-course teachers were debating on who was gonna replace Mineta. Even though he avoided jail time, he was still kicked out of UA.

Six sighed, having seen them glare at Monoma for the final time, and shouted at them to get moving; emphasizing and punctuating his words with rubber rounds shot at their feet. A few, namely three, were hit to get them from stopping. Soon after they completed the last lap, they all formed in font of Six in a single file line and promptly held themselves up at the risk of collapsing. At Six's order, they collapsed on the ground and nearly passed out.

Sighing out loud, Six looked at them with contempt.

.

"You are a bunch of sad sacks of shit," Six insulted them. "If you really want to outshine 1-A, you're gonna have to do better than this. Only 20-ish laps and you're already out of breath? 1-A can do about ten more before they drop!"

.

As Six berated them, Vlad King just watched on in silence. Not wanting to point out that it was a quarter-mile track he had them running. He saw that quite a few of the students had passed out as they lay the ground.

.

'He probably knows,' Vlad thought, not wanting to get on Six's bad side. After all, he rather not get shouted at by someone worse than his boot camp Sergeant.

.

Finally, Six relented and had those who were still awake wake up those who passed out and had them hit the showers. As Six watched them pick themselves up, Vlad walked up next to him.

.

"They're bulking up nicely," Vlad King spoke once the students were out of earshot.

"They're getting there," Six replied once the last one limped their way out. "They still have a long way to go."

"You do know that even professional heroes would be out of breath after all that without using their quirks," Vlad pointed out

"Nezu wants the best of the best and brightest after what the HPSC pulled," Six responded as he walked away.

"Still, you're pushing them too hard," Vlad sighed and followed, "Sooner or later they'll snap like a twig."

"And when they pull themselves back together, they'll be better for it."

...

..

.

Six sighed as he walked into the Teacher's office after downing a bottle of bourbon on the roof. Once inside, Six was greeted by Yagi as he was handed a folder by him. Six raised an eyebrow but accepted it and walked to his desk with Yagi following.

.

"Hitoshi Shinso," Six read out, "This the new student that's replacing Mineta?"

"Yes, Nezu deemed him to be the best candidate amongst the General Courses," Yagi answered Six's question.

"I'm not going to like him," Six stated as he read his quirk.

"Why?" Yagi asked, somewhat curious.

"[Mezmetron]," Was all that Six said.

"What the heck is a Mezmatron?" Yagi asked.

"Mind Control device," Veronica said as she overheard what Six said. "Caused our family a lot of trouble during our time in the Mojave."

"Still remember when I had to- never mind," Six said as he didn't want to go into that messy memory.

"Yeah, I still get the shakes from that," Veronica stated as she shook, knowing what Six was gonna say.

"Anyway, he's got a lot to catch up on if he wants to stay in 1-A," Six said as he read over his file. "He's too thin and has little to no real muscle built up. He's gonna need a lot of work. I might have to break out the [Nutri-paste]."

"Please don't!" Veronica nearly shouted, "That stuff is horrid! Don't push that poor kid into eating that!"

"May I ask what this [Nutri-paste] is?" Yagi asked.

"[Nutri-paste] is a nutrient paste that was developed pre-war back where we were from," Six explained as he pulled out what looked like a small tube of toothpaste. "It was supposed to be a paste that could replace MREs for soldiers while they were in combat."

"It can't be that bad," Yagi said as he took the tube and started to examine it, "If anything, this could help young Shinso."

"Taste it yourself," Six offered and Yagi did just that.

"That's horrid!" He shouted and nearly puked after putting some on his tongue. "It tastes like dog food!"

"No, dog food tastes better," Six and Veronica spoke in unison and Six handed a bottle of gin to Yagi.

"What even flavor was this supposed to be?" Yagi asked after downing half the bottle.

"Beef flavor," Six said with a smirk.

"Oh, you're horrible," Veronica said, "That's the worst one."
