The day everything changed

I am a 23-year-old man who has spent years learning magic and from the past six years, I was one of the best magicians.

I stopped doing magic because a certain someone told the Society of Magicians that he killed a magical beast without even considering the fact that the Magical Beast could be a part of the Society of Magicians. That certain someone was the magician who was the part of S+ Magicians.

Every decision in this palace was made by the Society of the Magicians. The Society of Magicians was comprised of 13 S and 11 S+ Magicians. S and S+ were the ranks given to individuals based on their magic. There were other ranks too.

I wanted to tell them that the magical beast attacked the house where small children live but kept quiet because I had signed a contract with them that I will never use an excuse if I did anything without permission.

You all will be wondering, " Why I signed a contract, and Why I will never make an excuse ?"

Well, I was a small child who was raised by the Society of Magicians.

Whenever I asked them about my parents, " They always said that we found you near a river, and we don't know who your parents are."

Now, back to the Palace and in front of the Society of Magicians,

I was so angry that I left the palace and the society of Magicians and the book they gave me and said that you should start your journey of becoming a magician now.

But now I am wondering what the Society of Magicians would do if I said that I want to return.

I was one of the powerful magicians in the Society of Magicians. It took me a lot of time and hard work to become one of the powerful magicians and reach that rank.

I was wondering all these things when I suddenly heard a loud thud outside my house.

My house

It is a small house with only one room but that room is big enough for me.

My house is surrounded by trees and a river and there are not many individuals who live near me. The individuals who were around me were ordered to leave the place as soon as I angrily left the Society of Magicians.

So now about the loud thud...

I was wondering what could have caused that, so I went outside to see what had happened.

To my surprise, a certain someone had fallen to the ground and was unconscious.

I took him into my house.

I placed that certain someone on the bed.

I started wondering who this man is, how he fell near my house, and whether he was injured.

To my surprise, he was just unconscious and there was no sign of injury.

I thought that he was also a magician and when I saw the book, I became sure of it.
