Growing food
The next morning, I was woken up by Hai, who slept in the same house as me, only in another room. My room is on the right side of my house, on the left side, and in the middle of the house, where there is a free room when entering the house. In the future, my room will be my throne room, from which I will give orders and make decisions.
Today we will start growing food. First of all, we have to clear the land of trees, cover the pits that will be made by removing the tree trunks, and start planting food. At the same time, I will order slaves with experience in making furniture to make beds, tables, chairs, and other things needed in the house.
After I decided what I was going to do today, I told Hai to call all the people in front of our house so that I could tell them the plan for today.
After a few minutes of waiting, Hai came back and told me that all the people were gathered in front of my house, as I had ordered. After hearing this, I started walking towards the door of the house, and when I saw people, I started talking loud enough that they could hear me.
-My people, we will start growing food so that we can feed ourselves without having to buy food from outside; however, even if we start growing plants, this will not mean that we will not eat meat; we will eat the meat of the animals we hunt until we bring animals to raise for meat or milk. After I said that I started to explain that today everyone except those with experience in making furniture will star making furniture and the rest will help to start growing food that we will eat in the future, after I said that, I started wallking towards the area where I planned to create the fields for growing food, the area was about 30 meters from our small village which consists of 9 houses, on the way to that location me and Hai cut down all the trees that stood in our way to make accessing this place easier, after we got where we wanted, we started to cut trees in the area of several hundred meters with our blades infused with qi, then we started to remove the trunks of the trees that we had cut , after we finished this, we started to fill the pits left from removing the logs with the help of my men. After this was finished, I gave them the order to start cultivating these fields while Hai and I stayed and watched in case any animal would have the courage to attack them, but that didn't happen, and the work went well without disturbances in just a few hours. The whole area that Hai and I cleaned was ready to start planting food, wheat, and millet. After they had finished planting, I announced that today's work is over and that everyone can go back to their homes and start sleeping because tomorrow we will focus on expanding what we have at the moment with more houses, some better roads to be able to move faster, and a protective wall that will be built in time, just like the roads.
Once I said this, everyone started to bring their tools and go back to our small village. When they arrived, they ate or went to bed because of the hard work they had to do. Me and Hai were done doing the same, but before we went to sleep, we started to discuss my future plans for the clan.
I told Hai that I want the clan to expand as much as possible in a short period of time in order to have a base of operation and people that we can teach to be martial artists so that we can give them missions instead of us doing the work of gathering resources for the clan and protecting it. After that, we both went to sleep.
