Chaos In Shadows Unleashed.

(Trunks-POV)

Reappearing via 'Instant transmission', they walked towards the house. He learned that ability with Jaina's help, taking him to the planet Yardrat in order to learn it, Winter was the one using that ability while he went along with the other two.

Krillin and he walked at Winter's pace while Gohan quickly headed on inside ahead of them. He looked at the woman, she still was a mystery to him even with Jania's brief description of her family, so he decided to ask her something.

"So, Winter, where are you from, I admit I'm curious about a few of you." he said, she turned to him and replied neutrally.

"Another time boy, head on in." she leaned against the wall and sighed. Trunks huffed, walking inside and followed Krillin along. They entered the room Gohan, Goku and Chichi were in.

"How is he?" he asked Gohan, who in turn turned to his mother. She replied while sighing.

"He's resting, he will be fine, before he was restless, but it has passed… for now." she then turned to Gohan.

"Help yourself to lunch, I've prepared some earlier. Check the fridge." Trunks walked after Krillin who headed to the kitchen. Trunks then helped himself to a meal, her had to heat it up but did so after Krillin done his. Twenty minutes or so of eating later, Gohan came out and got his own meal.

"So, Trunks… Are you going to train with us, we should have time to move Goku to either master Roshi's place or Capsule Corp. There is Winters place too though I do not think she would want us there. Kron's family is there, and he has a few kids." Trunks replied.

"I could though I was hoping I would track down the other time traveler, train with her. She has shown me that there is another level to 'Super Saiyan' though she has not clue how to reach that goal." Gohan replied, his face stuffed with food, so he gulped it down before speaking.

"Ah, yeah. She didn't come and help, why is that, Trunks?" Krill added, looking at him.

"Yeah, we could have used her help with them Androids. So, do you know?" Trunks replied, placing his cup on the table.

"As of one month ago, no. She trained well but I spent more time teaching her too. I've learned that your time has access to a lot of superior technology. I'm thinking of getting my hands on one of those capsules for the gravity chambers. We could use that, what do you two think of that?" he smirked, feeling quite enthusiastic in this measure. Krillin shook his head, smiling while Gohan replied.

"We can go there soon, I'm sure mother, dad and Winter will be moving shortly. So, I'd figure we should eat up, then see if they need help moving stuff before we go." Trunks nodded, taking his cup in hand to take another sip. Winter came inside, with a phone.

"Trunks, your uh… mother wishes to speak with you." she handed him the phone.

(Piccolo-POV)

(One Hour Later)

He headed towards the lookout and landed on the surface of the structure. Growling, he glared at his hand but then calmed down and breathed out. Dende was coming outside and so Piccolo approached him, walking to him.

"I'll be training up here, the training facilities here should do wonders for me. But first, I have an idea. I remember when Piccolo and Kami become me, we also grew much stronger. I want you to ask some of the warriors of planet Namek, if one or more would like to combine our strength." Dende blinked, hesitating, itching his face with one hand while the other gripped Kami's, now Dende's staff.

"Ah, I'll get in touch with Nail, he might know some of the Namekian's who might want to consider this. Although Nail might consider it himself. He's becoming bored even in his training. Of course, he most likely wants a fight out of you before he would even consider. I'll ask him…" Dende then started to concentrate, his antenna twitching occasionally while his eyes closed shut.

Piccolo awaited him for the word, but it seemed to be taking some time.

"...I need to gather more power to be able to fight these androids, with newly created weights…" Piccolo powered up, pointing his hands and one finger each on them while his Ki rose, immediately effecting the hemisphere from where he stood. Concentrating, he intended to create weighted clothing so much more impressive than anything he has ever conjured before. The clothing, potential Namekian warriors who'd combine with him and then he would join either Kron or get himself one of those gravity chambers in order to accelerate his training to whole another level of growth. He wouldn't have considered using those machines, but these androids were so much stronger, falling on his pride to use them cheap devices for training would not hurt if at the end of such training, he benefited greatly from it. Then there was the Kaio-ken, that ability he didn't even consider learning either, so assure of his power but now things have changed.

"Ah, Piccolo sir, I've got into touch with Nail. He accepts your offer though he isn't sure what happens to his extra ability he gained thanks to Kron, in the past Kron had visited Namek and made a wish to transfer a dubious ability of immortality to Nail from another who didn't want it. Combining with Nail, that ability might be transferred to you, or it might just end. I'm not sure, the magic which created the spell or… curse is unknown even to Elder Guru and Elder Moori."

"Is that so, well fine. Make sure you tell him it's a permanent combination, unless under duress, as even I have no idea how I managed to split myself the first time around. Tell him that if he doesn't want to, there is an alternative to my training. This is just one way to mitigate it. Is Guru still alive? That old man, isn't he ancient by our standards?" Piccolo asked, changing the subject and Dende replied slowly.

"Uh, yeah. Elder Guru is still alive but Moori, when I got into communication with him via telekinesis, said that our father Guru is considering using the very same ability you mentioned. He wants to pass his knowledge on to his son, Elder Moori which would also increase Moori's strength, knowledge and ability to continue to govern and even improve on the dragon balls of Namek. I actually caught them in the middle of their plans when I spoke with them." Piccolo nodded surprised that the old man thought it through to that extent, to combine with another for the good of the collective, even over the final journey… death itself in order to continue to help his people… what a… good sentiment. Piccolo replied.

"Alright, tell Nail I'll be with you. He also learned the 'Instant Transmission' yeah, then he can come to me. Until then I will be deciding on what to do with my training." Dende turned to him fully, replying.

"I have felt great disturbances down on the planet for four years though I wasn't sure of it. I'm new at this after all and have had Mr. Popo to search these areas out. There have been some very unsettling happenings on the surface below, deaths to which I couldn't have explained though they seemed to be not natural… murders of mass lives which at first, I believed to be people from this planet, humans are very different to us Namekian's. Now though, with what I've learned of these sights and from help from Trunks, Bulma, Gohan and Krillin. There just be another, an greater evil than that of these so-called 'evil' androids out there. Piccolo, I ask you to search out this evil after Nail has confirmed his position on combining or not with you." Dende sighted, Piccolo growled, replying.

"I will, what have Trunks, Gohan and Bulma found out?" he asked, curious at this 'other' threat, another threat… how annoying.

"That this threat might have come back in the boy named Trunk's time machine, though from what I've heard from the boy conversing with the rest at the desolate sight of this time machine, the pod is actually his… I cannot tell you what is happening, time is… a strange thread which moves to its will…" Dende then begun to concentrate again, his antenna begun moving frantically and he gritted his teeth before his face took on a calmer look. He opened his eyes again.

"Nail and one of the other warriors have decided to agree to this, though they have asked you a favor. In return for combining with you, you will have to train up the Namekian warriors of Namek after this threat in whatever which way you are about to train in. Sounds pretty generous doesn't Piccolo…" Piccolo nodded, happy even as he would be able to pass on some of his own techniques to his people in turn, strengthening his people for any future threats.

"That, I can do. Tell them I accept." Piccolo smirked, he would honor their deal and with their combined might, be able to defeat those androids and this other 'threat' in one fell swoop-

"-It's, I see it now, it is no longer h-hiding. It has now come out in the open, No… there a two of these things… A m-monster or creature of unknown origins… possibly alien… working in tandem… different cities, towns… perhaps a alien invasion force of some kind… no, there are two of those time machines, s-same models too." Dende said frantically, Piccolo gasped shocked.

"What monster, what are you talking about, explain yourself Dende. From the beginning." Dende nodded, just as Nail arrived and spoke up, smirking. He was with another warrior from Namek.

"Hey Dende, Piccolo… what's up, I heard you need our help.?" the other warrior with Nail grunted and nodded their way but for now, Dende begun to speak, recounting all he knew.

(Trunks-POV)

A phone call with his mom and he, Gohan and Krillin headed out to the coordinates she sent them by flight. They met her there, he was surprised to see another time machine. Finding out that the time machine had come back one year earlier than he did, Trunks was confused as to how or why. Gohan found a husk of some kind of insect, which shed and left the husk nearby the overgrown time machine. Within the machine, a kind of egg or shell lay cut or melted… in two halves. His mom retrieved them and would try to learn what she could.

"Hey, Trunks, I'll take the other time machine back to my lab to see if I can find any other clues. Trunks, do you want to come with me, you could meet your grandparents." she asked, smiling at him, he sighed.

"Ah, right. I can help. We've learned much already but if there's anything else…" Trunks then looked at Krillin and Gohan.

"I'll see you guys later, remember to try and get some training in, with the androids not going around and killing everyone in sight unlike my own time, they are different so we might have a chance to get stronger while they continue their tirade, searching for Goku. We're going to need to figure out who… or what has used my time machine and come back one year earlier than when I first arrived here." Gohan and Krillin nodded, with Krillin replying.

"Right Trunks, good luck with this mystery. Alright Gohan, lets head back." Gohan replied seriously.

"Right, Krillin." The two of them took to the skies while Trunks walked back to his mother, she was prepping the ship, having already stored his ruining time machine in its capsule form. She spoke, seeing him approach.

"Do you want to ride with me, or will I meet you there?" she asked, Trunks nodded.

"Yeah, I'll take a ride, I need to think…" he needed to figure out what was happening, who the heck stole his time machine… what was that thing, the egg and husk of a large insect-like creature…

(Tien-POV)

He, Yamcha and Yang arrived to Roshi's island. He landed first and stepped inside the home, seeing Roshi, Oolong, Turtle and Chiaotzu inside. He spoke up, as he walked inside, looking towards Chiaotzu.

"Chiaotzu, we're leaving. We have to get back to our training. Yang's coming back home too." Yang added, standing behind Tien.

"Hey Chiaotzu, we all got our asses kicked." Roshi spoke then, seriously as his tone suggests. Tien listened while Chiaotzu prepared to leave.

"So, what happened, you guys weren't killed… uh, is everyone alive. What that boy Trunks had suggested, these androids would have killed the earth's strongest warriors. So, spill. Details Tien." Tien looked sharply to him, replying.

"We lost, it turned out that there even more androids than what the kid predicted. We dealt with two of them while Kron dealt with another three of them. Then there were three more, even stronger than the rest of them. They are on their way to Goku even while I speak. Though Kron is going to be watching them with a clone. We should be able to move Goku to here soon. I hope you're alright with that Master Roshi." he added, looking at the man. Roshi nodded while Chiaotzu was ready to go. Yang threw a capsule, a sizable backpack appeared to which she then stored her weapons inside and then packing it up again.

"We're going, the other will explain when they arrive. Though I think I have given you everything I do know." Tien spoke when Yamcha replied.

"I'll stay here, get my own training started now. Good luck you three." Yamcha added, heading outside to get started.

(Kron-POV)

Landing, I headed for the lookout for another purpose. I intended to get inside the Hyperbolic time-chamber earlier than everyone else. I also wanted to ask Dende something, about if it's possible for him to take off the limit for using the dimensional room, I'm not sure but if there is, he would be the one to know being guardian. Getting started in there, I would push myself through the strain and ascend the limits of what I can and can't do with my abilities.

Seeing him there, along with Piccolo, Nail and another Namekian warrior standing near to one another. I flickered on over, speaking up while Piccolo only looked at me neutrally.

"Hey Dende, I'm going to be using the Hyperbolic Time-chamber. " Dende turned to look at me, concern shown on his face, but it wasn't for me. He replied while Nail and the other Namek headed closer to Piccolo.

"Now? Uh, sure. I'm monitoring something down below, which is causing chaos on the planet. It isn't the androids you were fighting before." I replied, knowingly that the root cause should be Cell. That thing would now be more active.

"Oh, well I could go and check it out… in an hour… or a year for me. Piccolo, Nail… uh, hey mate… What's up Piccolo, are you going to check out this cause of chaos?" I asked, seeing Nail here with his Namekian warrior buddy, seemed like the Namekian's would be helping with the androids…

"No, me and-"Nail began but Piccolo interrupted him.

"They are here because I will be combining with them, to create a more powerful force capable of stopping those androids, Dende has told me of another threat he deems more terrifying than those androids though. Momentarily, these two will become one with me… there is a condition though I have already agreed to." Piccolo seemed serious, I turned to the other two. Nail wasn't dying this time around so him joining with Piccolo now was strange. The other guy too. Nail smirked, replying.

"Ah, I see… it's on your face Kron. Our comradeship… your help in the past, I will never forget it. Piccolo will learn in due time too, the warrior with me, Fargo here have volunteered to help Piccolo and in turn, Piccolo will help train warriors of Namek as we will no longer exist." He was serous, the guy is willing to give up his life to become one with Piccolo… what a weird situation.

I approached him, he was one of the first people I met and actually liked, it's a shame too but if it's his choice, who am I to stop him. I turned to Piccolo, speaking to him.

"Well, get to it and then go check up on that disturbance. Though If you go, be careful yeah, it doesn't matter how strong you get if you get captured or worse." I said, Piccolo responded, nodding. Thoughtfully, I glanced at him and remembered he had a certain ability I couldn't replicate. The ability to make weighted clothing so I added.

"Fine, well… get going then, if you get stronger, I've seen how powerful you are, you just might be able to defeat those androids." I nodded replying as I wanted a favor.

"Piccolo, make me a set of weighted clothing, make it your strongest you can, I'm going to need it." He looked thoughtful before nodding, suddenly he held two fingers conjoined, facing my way as he yelled in exertion.

"Harrrghhh! … … … There, that should work. Good luck… Kron." I smirked, nodding before flickering away, towards the entrance.

(Vegeta-POV)

Standing in the rain in a desolate wasteland, heavy downpour constantly irritated his body, while his mind was assaulted by the insults of that woman android, hearing her mockingly degrading him, while he fought her had repeated through his head. The words plus his failure to stop the one android… a woman too brought Vegeta to a boiling point, he suddenly powered up in his anger.

"Urgh Haaaaaaaaarrgh… Raaaaaaarrgh!… … Wasn't the Super Saiyan supposed to be invincible, able to dominate any challenges. Destroy any foe… The pinnacle of the Saiyan race, their power to be seen as gods upon the universe. All my life, I've striven to reach the level of the legends of old and I have achieved that through sheer will and training… So, how is it that I would lose to a bunch of earth-created androids… urgggahhh" he continued to lament the thought that his best efforts weren't enough.

"Perhaps there are other ways to continue to hone my abilities, I must continue to train and find these limits and break through them… I must reach new heights and ascend to another level. I have barely scratched the surface of my potential. I must…" he tensed, growling out as he gazed at the eye of the storm he had created with his power alone.

"Yes, there is more to be had. No matter how strong my foes, I will overcome them and surpass even them! My bloodline runs thick in my veins, my power unlimited… I will prove that the great Vegeta is worth the power of a 'Super Saiyan'. No holds barred. Hmph… and then Kakarot, Kron… then I will see you two bow to your king." Vegeta smirked, blasting off from the plateau he stood on in a wasteland nearby to the previous battlefield he fought in before.
