He is strong, Far stronger than me

The next morning was immensely shocking all over the world.  A total of thirty seven prestigious academies were attacked by the infamous Ten heads of the Black Dragon and their vassals worldwide. The number of abducted students was terrifyingly high, two thousand eight hundred and seventy seven students abducted in one night.

Those rescued by Kiki's squad were kept at the nearest G.A.D.S base, where they received immediate medical  attention.

Adrian lay in critical condition on a hospital bed as he watched Kiki and the doctor converse by his side.

His legs and arms were bandaged and suspended midair. He wore a neck brace while his face was covered with bandages like an Egyptian Mummy courtesy of Kiki's inhuman beating.

"He is in a very critical condition.

Eighteen bone fractures, seven broken bones, multiple ruptured tendons in his knees, ankle and shoulder. It's a miracle he is still alive." The doctor said.

"He is not going to die right?"Kiki asked.

"No, not at all. With the caliber of medical equipments we possess, he will be back to top condition in two weeks." The doctor answered.

"That's okay."She said with a half smile.

"I suggest you call his parents ma'am." The doctor concluded before exiting the room.

Adrian noticed Kiki's expression darkened at the mention of his parents, making him wonder if she knew his foster parents or anything regarding them.

. . .

In a dim lit room, several men and women sat at a long rectangular table. The air in the room was quite heavy as the men and women in the room unconsciously emitted  room shattering pressure.

They each wore a dark navy blue military suit, toped with a black military hat. On the shoulders of these people was the Greek letter Beta inscribed with gold.

Only very few persons in the room had the Greek letter Alpha inscribed on their shoulders.

"Mr Azar, you were at the academy right from the start of the attack if i am not mistaken." A ferocious looking man, decorated with  an Alpha inscription on his shoulder questioned Mr Azar.

"Yes I was." Mr Azar replied in a neutral tone, as both men engaging in the conversation sat at the opposite ends of the long rectangular table.

"Then, why did you hesitate to intervene? If you had done that, alot of lives would have been saved." The ferocious looking man said with a hint of anger.

"First of all," Mr Azar said as he sat up, his hands folded across his chest.

"I am retired. I am now a civilian, so I am under no obligation to help if I don't wish it. Secondly, I delayed my intervention to see what their aim was. It's seems extremely strange that  they go about kidnapping kids of a particular age group from schools." Mr Azar said as he stood up from his seat.

"I mean, they could go to the houses of these children and pick them off without any opposition. So, why then do they go through the stress of attacking heavily guarded schools?" Mr Azar continued as all eyes were glued to him while he spoke with confidence.

The entire room went silent on hearing his words, they had not thought about these incidents from this  angle. The question they all had on their minds was why? Why schools?.

The ferocious man decorated with an Alpha inscription, also remained silent as he also contemplated Mr Azar's words.

"So what is your deduction?" A middle aged woman with a Beta inscription asked, looking Mr Azar directly in the eye.

"Why does my deduction matter? I am no longer an agent of this organization. Solve your problems by yourself. If you need me, you'll have to hire me as an external contractor and you know I am not cheap." Mr Azar replied with a mischievous smile before he walked towards the exit of the dim lit room.

This caused a lot of faces to frown. Most of them being utterly disgusted at his arrogance and lack of respect to even those wearing the Alpha inscription.

The ferocious man had nothing to say even though he was boiling on the inside. The fact was that none of them were as strong as Mr Azar, he was the strongest to have ever worn their uniform even though some of them outranked him. He was a literal one man army,  ready to wreck havoc at the slightest provocation.

"And before I forget." Mr Azar said as he paused a few steps away from the door, making all heads to turn in his direction.

"They have an extremely powerful member. He looked kinda wierd though, golden hair and earrings and a dark blue scarf covering his eyes. But, he is strong, far stronger than me." Mr Azar concluded before finally exiting the room.

The expression in the room immediately shifted from anger and disgust to immense trepidation. Mr Azar was already a big enough problem, the good side of the situation, was he being willing to cooperate with them even if he milked them dry at any opportunity he got.

But someone far stronger than he was, that was not a problem it was a disaster.

While those at the helm of affairs dealt with their problems.

The teachers rescued from the Arachis Academy suffered their own predicaments.
