Shadow POV

"Becca's journal is amazing!" Raven exclaimed as Bellamy is driving us in the Rover. I'm in the passenger seat and I reach out, grabbing Bellamy hand and giving it a soft squeeze causing him to take his eyes off the road and look over at me, slightly smirking. "At 26 she found pathway to access the human mind" Raven goes on. "That same year she had to lock up Alie because her answer for what was wrong with the world was too many people" Raven informed us. "She was 27 when it launched the bombs" Raven says. It was scary for me to think that an AI was the reason for the world ending a long time ago. "What did she write about the flame?" Clarke asked her. "Alie 2.0" Raven corrected her. "She saw it as a way to Aton for her sins. She designed it to not just access the human mind, but to merge with one" Raven went on. "It could never wipe us out, because it would be one of us. She would put it in herself first. Altered her genes so her body wouldn't reject the implant" Raven says. "Bekka Pramheda, the first Commander" Clarke answered. "The gene therapy made her blood black? Didn't it?" I asked Raven. "Yeah" Raven says. "How did you know that?" She asked me. "Nightblood. It's where it came from. Somehow it became hereditary" I say. "Luna had it. That's why I have to find her" Clarke nodded. "If she can access Alie 2..." I cut Clarke off. "She can tell us ho to stop Alie 1" I say. "Bekka Pramheda gets her second shot at atonement" Sinclair stated. "Get back to the kind pathway" Monty tells Raven. "If alley used it to upload our minds to the City of Light, then there's a chance my mom's still a live" Monty stated. My heart felt like there's was a fist clenched around it. "That depends on your definition of Alive" Raven tells him. "Eyes Sharp. Weapons hit. We're almost home" Bellamy tells everyone. Bellamy tells go of my hand and picks up the radio. "Miller come in" he spoke. There was nothing "Harper are you there?" Bellamy asked. My stomach turned and I knew something wasn't right. "Your rides two minutes out" Bellamy tells them. Bellamy, Clarke, Octavia and I jumped out of the Rover with our weapons drawn as Monty gets in the driver's side and begins to drive along with us at our pace. We got close to Arkadia and I see all the pieces. " It's been two days, Why haven't they fixed the gate?" Clarke questioned as Jasper climbs to the top of the Rover and points the machine gun. We keep walking, Bellamy in front of me and Clarke and Octavia on the other side. "Maybe because there's no one here to fix it?" Jasper suggested with a harshness in his tone. "It's like a ghost town..." I whispered to myself. "Miller, where the hell are you?" Bellamy asked over the radio. My stomach turns again as we entered further into the camp. "I don't like this" Sinclair breathed out. "Maybe they got chipped" Jasper suggested. I rolled my eyes "If they got chipped, they'd have been waiting for us at the cave" I pointed out. "Maybe the saw the open gate and went in for Lincoln book" Jasper then suggested. "Maybe, you should stop saying maybe?" I suggested to him. "If they are chipped then Alie already knows we're coming" I then tell everyone. We stopped and I notice the pile of blood. It's where Pike shot Lincoln. Octavia tilted her head and I blocked her view from the blood. "Uh...let's get his book and get the hell outta here" Octavia choked out. "That's a plan I can support" I tell her. Raven and Monty stayed in the Rover. Octavia then takes off causing Clarke to knit her brows together as she looked at me. "Uh... Lincoln" I cleared my throat and Bellamy pounds on the back of the Rover to signal Monty to drive forward. We reached the gate door to the Rovers garage and begin taking a sweep of the place. "Close it up, Turn the Rover around. We may be d to get outta here quickly" Bellamy instructed Monty. The doors shut as we begin looking around. I noticed all the plates full of food. "it's like they all just got up and walked away" I stated as Bellamy comes up behind me. "We're in and Out. Pack as much gear as you can into the Rover" Bellamy explained to Clarke and everyone else as I stared at the table full of food. "I'll get the map" Octavia stated. "I'll uh...go with her. No one should be alone" Jasper says as he passes by. "You don't wanna load gear?" Sinclair asked Jasper. "Not even a little" He replied before leaving with Octavia. "What's the rush?" Raven questioned. "They won't be coming back" She says. I turned and looked at her. "How do you know?" I asked. "Alie's mission is to chip everyone. It wouldn't make sense to return to a place she already took" Raven pointed out. "it might make sense if there was someone in that place...Who could tells us stuff like that" Sinclair whispered to Raven. "Good point. Let's load the gear" Raven nodded. Everyone went a different way but Bellamy. I turned and stared at all the stuff left behind and I couldn't help be worried about my mom and dad. "You okay?" Bellamy placed his warm hand on my arm. I could feel the heat even with my leather jacket on I sniffled and shoved my feelings down as I nodded. "Yeah, I'm okay" I lied. "If this is going to work between us, we can't keep shoving our feelings down. What's wrong?" He asked. I bite the inside of my cheek before turning and looking up at him. "I can't help but get this sick feeling in the out of my stomach that something horrible is going to happen Bellamy" I confessed. "Losing Izzy was too hard and I can't lose anyone else" I shake my head. Bellamy wrapped his arms around me, pulling me into a warm and loving hug. I felt safe in his arms, that's one thing that will never change. He placed a soft kiss on my lips before wiping the tears that managed to slip from my waterline. He then cupped my cheek "You won't ever lose me" he whispered. I shake my head "You can't make that promise Bellamy, Not in this world. Not when we're always at war" I informed him. He knew it was true, that none of us are promised tomorrow. "Listen to me Sha, I love you" He confesses. It had made me smile and my heart feel better. "I know it's scary the world we live in. I don't care who were fighting as I have you with me" he tells me. I stand on my tiptoes and place a kiss on his lips. "How did I get so lucky to meet you?" I asked him. "Hmm, that's a good question" He teased, causing us both to laugh. "Come on, we need to pack some gear" he smacked my butt and I jumped forward a little and headed towards the armory with him following close behind me. I grabbed a duffle bag inside and began looking through the cases to see that there all full. "Bellamy..." I whispered as I opened more up. He chuckled, shaking his head . "Everyone finish what you're doing and meet us at the armory" Bellamy instructed over the Radio. "Why what's going on?" I hear Clarke asked. "You'll see when you get here, we just got lucky" He says.

We waited for everyone outside. They didn't even show to the armory which made Bellamy and me both curious. "I'll go grab Clarke and the others" I tell him. "Hurry" he says. I headed towards the Rover gate doors and entered inside. "woah...just me" I laughed as they all held their guns up. "You scared us" Raven called out. "Bellamy is waiting for Clarke in the armory, just wondered what was taking so long" I say. "Let's go" Clarke says as she grabs the chip from Raven. "Outside would be better" I suggested to Clarke. "until they come back" She stated. "I'll go with you" Monty nodded as he followed us. "We'll catch up" Sinclair tells us as he keeps Raven with him. We walked down a few halls as the lights flicker on and off frequently. "Once we find Luna this will all be over" Clarke stated. "Ontari will be there exposed as a fraud and the AI will tell us how to shut down Alie" She added. Clarke and Octavia both stopped walking when Monty did. Clarke turns to him as he spoke. "If we shut down Alie, what happens to the City of Light?" He asked. "Both of you will have your mom come back like Raven did. What about my mom?" He asked. Suddenly I begin to hear faint music in the distance that catches my attention. "Someone's here" I whispered and began walking but Monty grabbed my arm. "Woah, following creepy music is a bad idea" He pointed out as the soft yet creepy lullaby music plays. I keep walking "Or we can follow the creepy music" Monty sighed as he follow Clarke and me down the hall. At the end I see a toy carousel turning slowly as it plays the music. We get closer and closer before I bend down and pick it up, turning it over the music stops and I see a name written on the bottom. "Aaron..." I whispered. "I don't like this. We should go" Monty tells us. Suddenly I hear a rumble and I turned on my heels to see the pink smoke. "Gas. Run!" I yelled at Monty and Clarke. Quickly the gas spread and I look down the hall we came from to see a large man. Monty and Clarke fall onto the floor, coughing. I hit the floor, then laid down as if I passed out as I held my breath. I felt someone touch my neck and I reach out and ripped their gas mask off to see Emerson's face before kicking him the the chest as he coughs. He hit the floor and I quickly got to my feet and grabbed Clarke and taking off out of the place. I begin coughing as I keep running before making it outside. I see him "Bellamy!" I called out. He quickly turned around. "Shadow!" He called back in a worried tone. I hit his arms and my body almost collapsed but he held me up as I wanted. "What is it? What's going on!" He asked. "Emerson..." Clarke responded.

Why didn't Clarke tell me he is a live? That she's known he's a live. Him being a live didn't shock her one bit. All I felt was rage towards her that she let the man who helped kill Izzy even breath our sake air. "Where's Monty?" Bellamy asked as we entered back down the hall. "Emerson took him" Clarke answered. "Why?" I asked her. "Octavia can you hear me? Come in" Bellamy says over the radio. "Jasper was with her" I reminded Bellamy. "Jasper? Are you there? Say something" Bellamy then stated. The static crackles on the radio. "Miller...Harper...Bryan" Clarke whispered. "This is all my fault. I let Emerson live" Clarke confessed. "What are you talking about?" Bellamy asked Clarke. "In Polis...she had a chance to kill him. but let me guess. You let him go?" I asked her. I could feel the rage building up. "How could you? Their people killed our sister!" I was going to jump at her but Bellamy stopped me. "No! No! Sha stop" Bellamy says. "Bellamy? What's wrong?' Raven asked over the radio. "Raven. Are you okay? Where are you?" He then asked her. "In engineering. We're fine" She responded. I take the radio from Bellamy. "Raven listen to me Emerson is here. Are the others with you?" I asked her. "Negative. Just Sinclair" Raven tells me. "Mount Weather Emerson?" Raven then asked. "Yes" I responded to her before glaring towards Clarke. "Lock down the hangar bay and don't let anyone in but us" I ordered her before we took off. "He's here. Inside Hungar bay" Raven says. Then the radio cuts out. We run towards the door and I bang on it to see all the lights out. "Raven!" I called out to her. "The other door!" I remind Bellamy before taking off outside. We override the doors and they begin to open. I rushed towards them. "Raven! Sinclair!" I called out. 'Wait!" Bellamy yelled at me. "Let me go in first" he says. He stepped in front of me and I followed him. "Sinclair!" I called out and rushed over to where he's laying on the ground. He roll over with ease as Clarke comes inside. His eyes are wide open and he isn't breathing. "Oh!" I gasped, covering my mouth from the scream that wanted to escape. Clarke reached out and touches his neck before closing his eyes shut. "we're too late..." I choked out. "No. We're not" Clarke shakes her head. "He didn't kill Monty or Raven. He would've left their bodies" Clarke pointed out. "He took them somewhere" she added. I sniffled, wiping my eyes. "If you're right. Octavia and the others are there too" I tell her. I stand to my feet "Where would he be taking them?" Clarke asked. "They could be anywhere. How does he even know his way around?" Bellamy asked as I begin to think. "He was here. You two were in Mount Weather" Clarke tells Bellamy. Then, it hit me. "The airlock..." I whispered before taking the radio from Bellamy. "Emerson. I know you're listening. We need to talk" I say to him. "I don't need to do anything" He replied to me. "Clarke should've killed me when she had the chance" he adds. "And now you're here to kill Clarke. Is that it?" I asked him. "Something like that..." He tells me. "Then let our friends go. Do that and you can have us" Clarke offered to him as she takes the radio. "You're brave, Clarke.." Bellamy called to her. "Clarke, no" he shakes his head. "I'll give you that" Emerson goes on. "I know what I'm doing" she tells Bellamy. "they're lucky to have a friend like you" He mocked. "Come to the airlock. No weapons. Right now" he ordered. She turned to me "Here" she hands me the radio. "What the hell are you doing?" Bellamy asked her. "Saving them" she says. "Look, when it's over. Take this to Luna" she holds out the AI that was in Lexa head. "Raven will know what to do with it" she adds. "Promise me" she ordered. I shake my head "No" I tell her crossing my arms against my chest. "You're outta your mind if you think either one of us is going to let you do this alone" I hissed at her. "Shadow, this is my fault. I'm not letting anyone else die for my mistake, okay?" She begged. "So take it!" She raised her voice. "Are you through?" I asked her. "I don't know what happened between you and Emerson in Polis. But I do know that letting him kill you here today is a stupid plan" I say. "You got a better one?" She asked me. "You distract him, Bellamy shoots him" I informed her. She nodded before giving me a slight smile. We then headed into the hall.

We reached the end of the hall and Clarke walked in front of us as we both stayed back. "I held up my part of the deal. Your turn" I hear her demand. "let my friends go" she says. "Tell Shadow and Bellamy to show themselves first" Emerson ordered. "I don't know what you're talking..." "Ah!" Emerson yelled and I heard another scream. "No!" Bellamy shouted as we come out from behind the corner. Emerson puts the knife to Octavia throat. "Good, now take out your the clips and throw it down the hall" he ordered me as I aim my gun at him. "then put the guns on the ground and get inside" he ordered me. "Mmm-mmm" Octavia shakes her head. "Please. You wanted me" Clarke begged him. "I'll get inside once you let them go" she tries to tell him. "I was talking to Shadow and Bellamy" Emerson tells Clarke. He then cuts Octavia chest "Okay! Okay! Stop!" Bellamy and I both take out our clips and all my weapons and slide them across the floor. Bellamy walked in front of me as we passed Clarke and I raised my hands in front of me as we entered into the airlock. "Those are yours" Emerson nodded to the cuffs on the wall. We both walked over to them and I cuff myself to the wall as Bellamy does the same. Emerson takes out his gun. "Get on your knees, Clarke" he ordered her. She does what he say. "Put your hands behind your head" he then ordered. He steps out if the airlock and then closed the door. I could no longer hear them. He picks Clarke up and shoved her face against the door so she could see us all as he presses the gun to her head. "Clarke!" I yelled, trying to wiggle myself free from the cuffs. Suddenly as he presses something and the lights turn off and a red light comes on. "Oxygen venting" the machine spoke. "Airlock five. Oxygen venting" it repeated and I feel the air begin to feel like it left my lungs. I look over at Bellamy as I begin crying. Would this be it? The last time I'd see him? Would we all die right now? I begin gasping for air. It gets harder to breathe. Everything begins to fade the everything goes black.

Bellamy POV

I feel the air come to my lung and I begins to gasp and cough. I look around to see everyone doing the same. I then look over to Shadow. But she isn't moving. "Shadow?" I call out to her. "Shadow!" I yelled when she doesn't answer. "Clarke!" I yelled. Clarke grabs keys from Emerson before running over and unlocking me. I pick Shadow up as Clarke unlocks her hands and set her in the floor. "Shadow! Wake up!" I shouted as I tap her cheek lightly. "No...no.. come on!' I shouted louder. I feel the pain as Clarke begin pressing on Shadows chest. "Breathe in her mouth" Clarke says as she stopped. I leaned down and breathed into Shadow mouth as I plugged her nose and Clarke started chest compression again. "Come on, breathe please...." I choked out. "Come on!" Clarke then pressed harder. I breathed into Shadow mouth once again but nothing happened. We did this for three minutes before Clarke stopped. "No! Why are stopping?" I asked her. "I-Im sorry Bellamy" Clarke shakes her head. "No...no no no!" I begin to break down as I look at Shadows still face. Clarke begins uncuffing everyone as I clung onto Shadow body. "Please...wake up" I begged Shadow. "Please...don't leave me" I begged her. "ah!" I shouted, slamming my fist on her chest. Suddenly Shadow takes a sharp breath in before beginning to cough. "Sha?" I asked as I grabbed her. I didn't hesitate to pull her into a hug. "But you...she was dead" Clarke whispered.

Shadow POV

I didn't know exactly how but I open my eyes and Bellamy pulled me to him and hugged me tightly. "Ow..." I whispered. "You're awake..." He says. Clarke tilted her head to the side. "but she was...dead" Clarke stated. Was I really? It took some convincing to Bellamy that I was okay, even after Clarke had checked on me to make sure I didn't have any brain damage Bellamy was worried. We're sitting outside when Bellamy walked out with Lincoln body. He laid it on the ground and Octavia opened the blanket up to see Lincoln face. She begins sobbing over his body and I couldn't help but feel guilty. Her cries are heartbreaking as she leaned down and kisses Lincoln on the head. She then turned to Bellamy as I stood next to him. I knew Bellamy and Lincoln were close but, this was tears for his sisters heartache. We made a log out and put Sinclair and Lincoln body on top of them. Raven approached Sinclair and touches his cheek "May we meet again" she spoke as Octavia holds the lit torch. Raven stepped back and lit the logs. "Yu gonplei ste odon" Octavia called out. "Yu gonplei ste odon" We all repeated as I grab Bellamy hand and give it a reassuring squeeze that I am still here and not dead with Sinclair and Lincoln. Raven and Octavia stand next to Jasper as we watched them burn. "It's time to go! I'll get the map" Octavia tells everyone before running off.

We're loading the stuff into the Rover. "we're leaving, Why aren't you ready?" Bellamy asked as they come into the room. "We're not going" Raven announced. "Raven..." Clarke begins "I can barley walk and my shoulder is killing me" She tells Clarke as I sit on the back of the Rover. "But my brains all kind of awesome" She smiled. "She reminded that Alie downloaded herself into the arks mainframe. If the code is still there, we might be able to find a back door" Monty explained. I knit my brows together "I'm guessing once you connect Alie 2 to Luna. We'll need to access the Alie 1 to take her down" Raven explained. "Miller?" I called out the him. "We'll keep them safe" he tells me "I'll keep them safe" Harper pointed to Miller which caused me to giggle. "How about you? It's gone be dangerous?" I asked Jasper. "You know me well. I'm in" Jasper tells me. "Okay" I nodded before giving everyone hugs and saying goodbye. I climbed into the passenger seat as Bellamy climbs into the driver's side. Clarke, Octavia and Jasper get in the back and Raven shuts the door before knocking on it to send us off. With that we were off to find Luna.
