Kaede then gave Rimuru the Sharingan in her hand and immediately jumped into the shadows

Rimuru changed places with his shadow he set up previously as well... but Dygan appeared out of nowhere and teleported him and Rimuru to a desert location

'Sigh... I think there is no way to avoid this then...'

"Get ready demon, I have waited too long to have a good fight, those Otsutsukis keep hiding from me..." Dygan said with a crazed smile

"Hey dude, can't we solve this otherwise?" Rimuru tried to reason but

"No, only a violent fight can solve this!" Dygan answered

"Violence isn't the answer to everything you know?"

"Of course

violence isn't the answer, it is the question

AND THE ANSWER IS YES" Dygan screamed as he dashed towards Rimuru

"Sigh... Isis, activate battle mode"

Rimuru then also started to dash towards Dygan, a battle about to start

they ran towards each other quickly, and when they met

they each punched each other's fists, canceling most of their momentum but still sliding past each other a bit

Dygan slide kicked Rimuru who jumped above the attack, then he approached Dygan to counter-attack but

Dygan used his hand to stop his momentum and tried to kick Rimuru's face, but he dodged it

Taking advantage of the momentum of his kick, Dygan got on his feet again and tried to punch Rimuru who dodged while blocking, and using the time he got after a parry, jumped backward while kicking Dygan on the chest, immediately following his kick with a sequence of kicks and punches to the face

Although... Dygan didn't seem affected at all...

he jumped at Rimuru and began exchanging punches and kicks, neither of them hitting the other one as they dodged almost every attack, and the ones they couldn't, blocked

That went on until they hit a powered up punch on each other's fist, knocking them away a bit, they tried to make up for the distance kicking each other, but both again just parried a kick with another

Rimuru did a quick sequence of punches taking advantage of his more precise insight brought by his dojutsus and gave Dygan some punches

Dygan blocked some of those punches, but after a straight punch to the face, he held Rimuru's arm and punched him back in the guts, then kicked him away

Rimuru however quickly got back at his feet, and tried to counterattack, they trade blows until Dygan gave Rimuru enough space to jump, propel himself with telekinesis and drop a smash on him, though it had little effect as Dygan blocked it

Rimuru did a somersault and sent 3 clones at Dygan, who at first dodged the attack of those 3 but quickly made a leg sweep and made one fall down, he took one and shoved it on the ground, then smashed his head with his foot

The 2 remaining clones took him from both sides, but he blocked their attacks as if he knew from where they would come from, he grabbed their punches, and with a jump, he kicked them both, destroying the clone on his right then taking the stunned clone of the left by the head and smashing it with his bare hand

Rimuru quickly went back to the offensive and doing some flips to build up the momentum he drop kicked Dygan, but ye dodged it once again

they exchanged blows until Rimuru hit a powerful kick on Dygan, who got knocked back a bit

Grinning, he said

"FINALLY!" Without saying another word, he dashed at Rimuru

'What the heck? this guy is taking no damage!' Rimuru screamed internally, but quickly regained his calm

Being nervous would do him no good right now

Dygan started again with a quick kick to the face, but Rimuru got right back at him with a punch to the nose

Dygan tried to punch back, but Rimuru blocked it then tried to land a punch on Dygan's stomach, he missed however Dygan grabbed his hand

he forced Rimuru down, and jumped above him, using his momentum to land a powerful kick on his chin, but Rimuru used the momentum from the knockback of the kick he received to push Dygan away

They approached each other again, and restarted punching and kicking, not landing any hits as they were either blocked or evaded

such is a fight between masters, no one gets hit much, but... Rimuru had a serious face and Dygan only had a crazy smile on his face...

Rimuru took a kunai out of nowhere and tried to slice Dygan's face, but he dodged it

After a wide swing from Rimuru, he dodged by crouching and kicking the kunai upwards, removing it from Rimuru's grasp

He jumped with a reverse backflip and kicked the kunai back, a dangerous move if the hit the blade, but he pulled it off and the kunai passed right by Rimuru's face, leaving only a scratch on his cheek, had he been human, he would also have blood trickling down from it

Rimuru got pushed back as Dygan took advantage of that hit to pressure him, but Rimuru made a clone appear mid-air, kicking Dygan away, he then tried to hit a smash on Dygan but missed, but, his clone jumped from above him, kicking at Dygan who blocked it

Rimuru went from below and hit a Shoryuken like a punch at Dygan, who grabbed his clone and flipped it in a way he smashed its head with his feet as he fell, they using the body of the clone that started to dissolve, he threw it at Rimuru, creating a bit of a chakra fog, but that did nothing because of Rimuru's dojutsus

They exchanged a bit more punches before they hit a well-done punch to each other's face, think of Goku vs Vegeta of the Buu saga

Both got launched back and Rimuru, who had been doing his best noticed something

'...He hasn't used a single skill yet...' Feeling dread, he got worried and decided to boost himself again

'Isis, use [Heka]'s [Bless] to improve my [Limit breaker] skill, then use [Limit breaker] on [Heka] and repeat it!'

The good news came to Rimuru as a bottle of water to a man walking in a desert

'Use it on me right now!' Rimuru said, and in the meantime, Dygan just kept looking at him, and when his limits were broken, Dygan smiled even more

"THAT'S THE SPIRIT!" He screamed as he also improved his power level

both of them disappeared in a blur of speed, each held the other one's punch as they also punched, entering a stalemate, but that incredibly fast attack made a sonic boom occur when they met, separating them again

This time though, they started to trade blows at incredible speeds, that fight looked more like a dragon ball one right now

Incredibly enough, their speeds kept increasing and increasing further, reaching the point that no one below the kage rank of using a dojutsu with a high enough mastery could see more than blurs of their movements

That's how fast they move! *Insert flash meme*

That is, until Dygan sped up even further than Rimuru, and kicked him away, appeared behind him, 'nothing personal kid' style, and kicked him back again

then in a flash he was behind Rimuru and kicked him upwards, Rimuru stopped himself from flying further away with [Ruler's authority] and began to exchange high-speed attacks with Dygan, though Dygan attacks had WAY MORE power behind them than Rimuru's, Rimuru managed to kick Dygan with a fully powered up kick on the chin, throwing him upwards at incredible speeds

Rimuru appeared above Dygan and tried to hit him, but Dygan used a substitution like technique to move above Rimuru, and they repeated that at least 10 times before Dygan reactivated his insane speed and hit Rimuru downwards with a powerful smash attack

*Swoooosh* *BOOOOOM*

Rimuru hit the ground violently, raising a cloud of smoke around the impact point

[EMS] [GJ] activating both of his eyes to their fullest, he still had problems keeping up with Dygan's insane speeds, but somehow managed to block a punch to the face by putting his arms up in time

But, the speed improved the power behind the impact, smashing his arms and launching him away at supersonic speeds, his arms healed in seconds though, and he firmed his feet on the ground to stop himself from going even further away

"Time to stop joking

ARISE" Rimuru said as he looked at his rapid healing arms

The army of over 30 shadow warriors appeared out of his shadow and using [Shadow manipulation] Rimuru had [Isis] control all of them

since he didn't have a warrior strong enough to keep their will intact yet, that was the most optimal way to do so

Dygan looked at the 'army' and thought

'Souls? no... something similar, yet different...

Shadows... and also immortals? holy freak, that can be really strong

not against me, though' He used his [Odin] skill to see what those warriors were, and concluded that he would need to seal those 'souls/shadows' away temporarily to defeat them

Some of the shadows had swords, but strangely enough, they didn't have any other variation of weapons, as that would be too hard to write

The shadows started to dash towards Dygan, who grinned and prepared to fight them all, while Rimuru observed it

Dygan draconic eyes glowed an ominous orange as the shadows got closer, then

Dodging a sword slash and uppercutting the first warrior, he blew its head away while sealing that warrior temporarily, with a kick to the side, he destroyed one more enemy (not gonna write that he sealed the enemy after each 'kill' so remember he did it)

Taking the arm of an enemy who tried to trust him with a sword, he flipped and smashed the enemies head, then jumped from it to another enemy, locking its head with his legs twisting it, and breaking it

he then kicked an enemy behind him, while punching one in front, all the while dodging their sword strikes

One warrior tried to jump kick him, but he got ahold of his leg and hit another enemy to death with it, he then did a high kick to the face of a warrior while dodging a sword strike at the same time, he then punched another enemy to bits

jumping forwards he smashed another head with a dropkick, uppercut another enemy in half kicked a sword away from one enemy, and clapped his head with both arms, then he did a flying kick to one enemy far away from him, also beating it

jumping back with a double flip, he kicked another head to nothing, then punched the face of the enemy behind that one with enough speed to pass through him as if it wasn't even there

Another enemy rushed at him, but he smashed it with only one hand, then kicked an enemy behind, clapped one in front, and cut another enemy in half with his bare hands

he bicycle kicked one enemy's head away, and jumping, he kicked the sword that flew up into another enemy's head

going from one enemy to another, he kept destroying them, using his hands, feet, his enemies, and even their swords that by the way, dissolved in seconds after their wielder 'died'

He did a super punch (propel himself for more damage, like superman) and got held by his back, with another enemy holding him, but he quickly turned that enemy around and used him as a weapon to destroy 3 more enemies around him

5 enemies jumped at him from different angles, but he compressed his energy and suddenly expanded it, creating a powerful shockwave that destroyed them

he kept dancing through the army of enemies, destroying one by one until a line of 5 enemies tried to charge him

he used his superspeed skill to the maximum and got so fast they seemed to stop in time

he kicked all 5 of them repeatedly, and when he kicked the last one, the 5 of them exploded in shadowy body parts, his superspeed skill having been overused, entered a 'cooldown' period

but right after he came back to normal speed, he kicked one enemy up, and when the enemy was going to fall behind him, he took a sword out of nowhere and sliced not only the enemy that was falling behind him but also the obe in front of him

precisely decapitating both at the same time

He then dashed forward, and cut the last 5 remaining shadow warriors on his way, making a path towards Rimuru

"Holy freak... I am soooo screwed" Rimuru said as he took the sword Shizue gave him, out

hitting each other they parried a sword attack

*clang*

Rotating their swords on their wrists to make more momentum, they clashed

Rimuru did a downwards slash while Dygan turned around and slashed horizontally

Rimuru swung his sword horizontally while Dygan slashed from down, up

*clang*

both tried to hit each other repeatedly, swing it vertically, horizontally, diagonally trusting the sword, doing flips to improve momentum, and avoiding slashes as they could

they both swung their sword horizontally, albeit a bit inclined or they would have both missed, but Dygan had the advantage in strength compared to Rimuru, who got pushed back

he threw 4 kunais at Dygan, speeding them up using his strength, [Ruler's authority] and [Shukaku], but Dygan managed to block 3 of them and dodge the last one

He jumped and used a TON of strength to hit Rimuru from above to below repeatedly

CRASH*

After the 6th hit, Rimuru's sword got destroyed

so he started to dodge every sword strike as he tried to counterattack, but Dygan sword gave him an edge on the range, that is until Dygan tried to hit Rimuru with a sword thrust, and Rimuru dodged and hit a Rasengan like bijuudama at the sword, destroying it completely

Dygan looked at the handle of the sword that was still in his hands and threw it at Rimuru who dodged it easily

Yet again, both started to fight barehanded, punching and kicking, dodging, blocking, and parrying, their high-speed hits, and powerful blows created a duststorm around them, that is

Until Dygan activated another skill, [Soul hit] the attack had a strange symbol as if he was making a Jutsu but Rimuru knew that wasn't it, Dygan kicked Rimuru on the chin, creating an opening

he then trusted both arms with the skill active and hit Rimuru with everything he had

Rimuru was launched back, bent over,r and vomited... blood?

He looked incredulous at the blood, knowing that it meant he took damage to his soul

After the last time when he almost got his soul destroyed, it became his sore spot, before

Before the dust settled down, he exploded in anger

removing limit with [Limitless]... done [Devourer Of God's] [Whispering death] subskill applied to individual Dygan (think of it as a generalized debuff)

"E...

NOUGH!" Rimuru screamed as the chakra he had formed a fox shaped cloak around him, with taces of red and yellow as well, those were all of his Kurama chakras cloaks active at once, albeit Kurama mode and Baryon mode were only partial, as he didn't have them completely yet

Also, three turtle tails formed below the fox 8 ones, 7 wings formed from his spine and one sandy cover took over his left arm

Moving at speeds that surpassed even Dygan's previous incredible speeds, Rimuru hit at the face, then the back of his head, his gut, his spine

Flying with the wings, he hit Dygan from above, below launching hit up, from above again hitting him to the ground, the using his maximum speed, all the remaining chakra he had for one last attack he hit Dygan on the face, his hand immediately blew up because of the incredible power flowing through it

*CRACK

BAAAANG

BOOOOOOOM*

Dygan heard his own skull crack loudly, the sound of the hit then came right after

, and lastly the sound of him hitting the ground with incredible speeds

Dygan skipped on the ground various times before his momentum finally stopped, as he laid down unmoving

"I...agh... I... won..." Rimuru said with difficulties

"Do you think so?" Rimuru heard Dygan's voice behind him

"What- gack" He couldn't even register what happened when Dygan took him by the neck

"Little slime, I will be honest

I am impressed by what you could do, not many could fight me for so long and survive it to tell the tale

and that last attack... oh, man... that was perfect!

unfortunately, I need to end you, or I would have loved to have you as a sparring partner again..."

"W-Wait!"

"[Gungnir]" Dygan's hand started to glow yellow and then

*VROOOOOOOOM*

An insanely fast and seemingly powerful yellow light disintegrated Rimuru from his hips to the head

"Not even the best regeneration skill can save you from that...

such a waste, if only you had been human..." Dygan looked at the remaining parts of Rimuru, he made sure to destroy the slime's core, so he should be dead

"Sigh..." Dygan let out a long sigh but before he went back to the void

*Cough cough*

He coughed up two mouthfuls of blood, looking at his blood-stained hand he smiled and said in a low voice

"That bastard almost won... Sis is gonna kill me for that..." He then disappeared in a colorful flash of light
